Compatibility check
It's not too helpful, as it only compares 3dmarks vs. a price that must not be realistic (see the price for a radeon hd 2600xt for example , or the 3dmarks of a 7950gx2 vs. 3dmarks of a 7950gt)

What you did today ...
Staying up late, that's life Today, I made our flat a little more comfortable, because I had slept enough for the first time in years (or so it felt) and found enough energy to do this at last.

For AGP users
What about an athlon x2 6000+, a p4 3.8 ghz, an overclocked pentium m etc.? [edit] Hm, seeing this was posted on bit-tech on January 7, was this card ever really produced and sold?

Why pointless? It's quite cool, actually, as there are still (at their time) high end motherboards with CPUs that are bored with their gf 6600gt

pink floyd - comfortably numb True, Talanzaar had an awsome soundtrack, too. The piece I was listening to was named "Heaven on Adelpha", I just thought it was the background music on Shamazaar, but I was probably mistaken judging from the youtube videos.

What are you playing now?
IWD1. Have to replay it because of the addons - I played through Trials of the Luremaster only once so far, and that was years ago!

Mostly, I also don't care about any band's member's ideas, just the music counts, the rest is none of my business. But this and similar bands are to blame for the not too rare nazi a**holes at "my" festivals, plus, anyone spending even penny on their records supports their personal life, which, in my opinion, shouldn't even exist... Also, I feel pretty moralist at times and get carried away Pulp - Sorted For E's & Wizz

What mythical beast are you?
Hm You're a pegasus. You're very calm and loving. Something about you makes others want to get close to you, whether or not you feel the same way about them. You don't bond to others easily, but when you do it's long-lasting. Your alignment is *good*, but not so much that you can't have fun.

Hey look, Jack Thompson has an Intern!
And Jesus was a complete narcissist, loving everything and everyone equally? Strange definition of identity I sometimes wonder wether stupid people are more likely to become conservative politicians, or if conservative politicians are actually intelligent enough to be betting on the support of the less intelligent part of the population.

World stock markets plummet in tandem
Toyota and Honda are huge sellers in the USA. Toyota and Honda also make several lines of trucks and SUV's. As has been explained before, there are considerable differences living in a vast country which is more rural than urban which makes vehicles capable of ferrying more than four people at a time in wildly different weather extremes more of a necessity than a luxury. Oh yeah, SUVs are totally useful! No really! I mean it! There are so many reasons why they are a must-have! And only people who really need them have them! Ok, my country may be an extreme case of SUV and "sports" car use (I mean, the terms SUV and sports car alone already imply their uselessnes), but I think there's a global trend to buy these overly heavy, high air and/or roll resistance, dangerous to smaller vehicles, pedestrians and cyclers, type of cars. I have no idea what this has to do with the stock market (which here currently is wildly fluctuating - chance to make big money, or lose it all, if you're stupid enough), but it's always a fun theme to discuss

R.I.P. Heath Ledger
That's what I thought, too... Anyway, I'm glad I haven't seen many movies starring him, because his death would have felt more than a little strange then, I think. I hope he had happy and content times in this life.

Movies you have seen lately
Bin Jip. A corean movie. The main characters don't talk, so I was close to tap on my gf's nerves and talk during the movie. But I could resist, and very much liked it. If this was DnD, the main character would by the end.

Yes, I was happy with that one, too. Nice, big artbook, soundtrack, map (nightwish single is available online) Still playing Disciples 2. Addictive!
