True *sigh* I think I've already stated what I dislike about the changes to the FR. Or was that on a different board? In short: Why do they keep the name, while most certainly scaring away most players, especially the fans, of the setting / rules as they were before? Very bad move imo. Draconians. Well, they do now with the 3870x2, sort of... I don't like Crossfire/SLI setups for their drawbacks though, so this card wouldn't be an option anyway until they release drivers that (among other things) offer the possibility to create profiles, evenly distribute frames to reduce the "fake high fps/micro-stuttering" problem, come up with ways do decrease input-lag... Plus, there's always horrendous power-consumption in 3D-mode.

It's not too helpful, as it only compares 3dmarks vs. a price that must not be realistic (see the price for a radeon hd 2600xt for example , or the 3dmarks of a 7950gx2 vs. 3dmarks of a 7950gt)

Why pointless? It's quite cool, actually, as there are still (at their time) high end motherboards with CPUs that are bored with their gf 6600gt
