Movies you have seen recently
Wall E. Was kind of fun, certainly not bad. While the story is near inexistent, I wasn't bored once. Also, I liked the little intro movie and the credits

TSL Restoration Project: The Phantom Deadline, READ FIRST POST BEFORE POSTING.
(Translation: "abandon all hope, you who enters here" or something like that. And here I was, hoping for some TG news...)

Firefox won't keep me logged in!
The cookies in ff 3 are stored in two files according to some internet searching: cookies.sqlite and permissions.sqlite (cookies.txt and something else for ff2), instead of one file per cookie like IE.

What you did today
I don't know why, but this experience and your conclusion kind of improve the start of this day.Am I getting social? Oops. I woke up early this morning (i.e. before 12) and wanted to get a parcel from the post office, but that stupid office is only open from 9 to 11. Ridiculous. And during the week, it's only open while I'm at university or at work *sigh* Going to have to skip a course next week just to get that parcel.

Hey, don't take it seriously, I meant that playfully. Relax, dear Shryke, I'm not in a hurry and don't mean to impose stress over distances greater than 100 kilometres Dreams of Sanity - Window To The Sky

Firefox won't keep me logged in!
Sorry, but those things are standard and we double checked that already :/ Ok, the bug you mentionned isn't "standard", and good to know. Man, I hate that ASCII-fixedness that causes so many problems for everyone in the world excpet in pure english speaking coutries... Other suggestions, anyone?

Firefox won't keep me logged in!
If someone finds out something, I'd be interested as well... My gf's FF 2 is randomly forgetting logins, sometimes multiple times a day, sometimes nothing wrong for a week. It isn't the IP either.

Members of the forum who are no more
Combine that with chatting nude in front of a webcam with underaged (which was also one of his "hobbies", if you remember), and you significantly increase that chance, so I'd even bet for a higher chance. [edit] That means, of course, that I don't miss that crutch.

Pictures of your games
Not necessarily, no.

What you did today
taks is getting less likeable by the minute Anyway, I spent half the day so far baroque literature, and the other half programming. Going to program a bit more this evening, pthreads and open mp is on the list.

Movies you have seen recently
Hmm, Ill have to watch them when I get home. I never watch the credits. We fortunately remained until after the credits, so the (quite cool) episode wasn't wasted - a pity for the 90 percent of the audience that left too early

New Laptop - Which One Is Better?
The Turion at 2.2GHz is certainly slower than a C2D at 2.2GHz (i.e. a P8400). I haven't read a review yet as I don't care for Laptops, but it should be well within reach of a 2GHz C2D. The structure width (65nm vs. 45nm) doesn't affect the performance per megahertz (aka. IPC, instructions per cycle), but the power consumption and possibly overclocking abilities. AMD chipsets however are generally superior to Intel ones in terms of power consumption. That's why an Atom (with a ridiculously low power consumption) that is soldered on an Intel board (with ridiculously high power consumption) doesn't use less power than a Via or AMD processor way faster than it with higher power consumption but more efficient chipsets. But that's off topic

Negligence
The alcohol of 3 to 4.5 litres of beer doesn't vanish that fast normally, does it? Anyway, the man must have been dead aspleep, as I can't believe the child just burnt silently and happily to its death, so I rather think it either wasn't an accident or the man drunk himself into a coma. 2 years doesn't seem too much to me, but I'm not law savvy.

I can still hear you...
You'd need to feed him, otherwise his life expecancy might be lower than that of other parts of the PC, and without him, these parts are likely to fail, too... I wouldn't recommend it, I've been there. Waving.
