  1. By the memory interface. The real ones have 256bit, the fakes only 128 (see here). Also, stay clear of the versions with 256MB Ram.
  2. Fleetwood Mac - The Chain
  3. Wrong forum If it concerns NWN2, please go here: http://nwn2forums.bioware.com/forums/
  4. Amazon(.com) would be awesome if they'd deliver their products to my country... Ic, it seems pretty obvious now... And there I was looking for an NWN2+MotB+SoZ box
  5. Well, then they should rephrase again. It's ambiguously put: "Falls Sie Nutzerstatistiken an Google senden m
  6. Kelverin: MotB has been out for a while already Meaning: I don't get the intention behind your links.
  7. So they've rephrased it then. If google wouldn't be redirecting me to the german version, I'd link the english one, but well... here's the german one: http://www.google.de/chrome/intl/de/privacy.html. Google itself says among other things: Urls or queries entered into the address bar are sent to google. Also, user statistics are sent, unless one deactivates it with some option. Each browser gets a unique id upon installation. This id is sent to google upon installation, during use and update. If one doesn't deactivate the option to send user statistics, the id is included as well. If reports are sent, informations about the programs, services and files open at the moment the report was created are sent as well. Others may not care, I however don't feel paranoid when not liking such things. As long as FF works, I'll not use this, second choice would be Opera, though I might give Chromium a try *shrug*
  8. And I didn't even notice it *g* spelling correction program running in my head seems very efficient, which has an unfortunate effect on my own writing... Nefilim - Still Life
  9. Cool! And: Eluveitie have made it to New Zealand? Not bad! To celebrate these two events, I'm listening to... Hiphop... But it's good still
  10. Oh noes, the latest two pages of this thread contain much sad news... After the trailer, I thought there was no humanity at all, and now he even saves it? Damn Still, my friend is likely to pull me along with her to see it
  11. (This is a reply to your post from 08:56 PM) I didn't read what you wrote the first time and thus don't think you're a jerk Maybe later I really think her husband's an ass and she's weak. From my experience with my parents, it's always akward to get involved into the difficulties of other's relationships. There's nothing one can do right in such a situation really. To not be guilty after things are over or cleared up, the only thing that was working in the situations I observed was to be neutral and offer to listen, comfort, but never to give advice. And this is tough and unsatisfying, so again: Nothing to do right...
  12. (Psst, look up Unicode in Wikipedia or similar ) Indeed, don't worry if you've got the principles of Java and feel comfortable using it, C# shouldn't make you afraid, as they have a lot in common. C++ is more open in terms of concepts and low level possibilites. C isn't object oriented at all, but still, you have no reason to be afraid of it if you can program in other standard languages. If you want to see different approaches to programming, have a look at LabView, Prolog, and Lisp (or Matlab) I don't think they are important to game programming, but broadening your horizon is never bad
  13. Madrugada - Salt
  14. That's the case for everyone as far as I'm informed.
  15. Don't you mind googleupdate.exe being run in the background, the unique ID, the data gathering and the terms of use? Chrome's a clear no-go for me so far. Maybe when these things and the beta status have vanished.
  16. What were you told by the "officials", and what are the true figures? Sources please, otherwise it's all FUD Because there's no education program here (that I know of) that promotes abstinence. That abstinence is a 100% safe way to not get pregnant is probably mentioned, or probably not, because it's just too obvious. Oh, there's a lot to know. Hormonal changes are significant to different bodily functions as well as the psyche. They can change relationships. The female cycle is another theme for example. STDs are another theme (fungi, viruses, bacteria, parasites: what protects from them, what they do with your body, how to get rid of them). No. What has the last sentence to do with anything? We don't need math at school becuase parents could teach it too? I'll let you figure out what's funny about the supposed locial fallacy on your own :D
  17. I once heard they tend to lose their reflectiveness due to oxidation of the aluminium layer or something like that. But sure, ripping them and trasferring them on PC change is a good way to preserve / back up the data Agathodaimon - Past Shadows
  18. REally, Its the best comedy I've seen since Borat. Damn, and here I thought it would be good
  19. Haha, I probably don't even own one tenth of your CDs... Btw, what do you do against degradation of the discs with their age? Covenant - Leviathan
  20. Oh no, that would really be too bad :/ I liked the setting and the characters a lot. It looked pretty, too.
  21. Haha! Well I know enough doctors who do it for the money and that's it. No genuine feeling of having to help those in need or something. So... Well, ok, this is something different, but I don't trust doctors *sneaks out of the thread*
  22. Ack, but we shouldn't be discussing the exterior appearance of designers when all we want is good games Mr. "Dan" is in some kind of pityable position (handwritten sign, between the tables....), is he in QA?
  23. Wee? Like tiny? Me wants review of new br0wzar
  24. Not if we're black, muslims, or pregnant, and in the US, because that would be even more frustrating than the normal frustrations related to doctors
  25. Gary Numan - Hybrid Sacrifice!
