  1. I have a hard time deciding who to vote for because each party seems to spend way more time bashing the other parties, instead of actually describing in detail for us lesser folk what their own agendas are.
  2. This likely doesn't include the console versions, correct?
  3. XCOM2? Actually, I think I was thinking of Star Wars Battlefront. But now that I remember it's not really offering a single player campaign, the interest is going down. If XCOM2 is coming out in November, I'm definitely interested in that.
  4. I hate this current lull in game releases I'm interested in. It should end come September when I'm (relatively) looking forward to Mad Max and Metal Gear Solid V, and then carry over into October (The Witcher 3 expansion) and November (Fallout 4 and ... another game that I'm drawing a blank on).
  5. The best questlines in Skyrim are the Dark Brotherhood one and the ghost woman imo (she has more character than most Skyrim NPCs combined imho, though that might not be saying too much...), I just wish they hadn't made starting all the guild questlines so insanely "in your face". Now playing quite a bit of Defiance. I think I need to watch some episodes of the series to get a better grasp on the setting though. I haven't gotten around to the Brotherhood questline yet. It's been a while so I'm a bit rusty, but I think it begins after killing that old lady at the foster child home. That quest is currently in my queue of unfinished quests.
  6. Playing through the thieves guild questline in Skyrim. I think a big problem with it is the characters are so meh. Maybe if they were fleshed out more, it would be more interesting. As it is, I feel like all I'm doing is going from point A to point B without actually becoming involved in the story.
  7. So Star Wars Battlefront won't have a single player campaign? Pretty much guarantees I won't be buying it. Which is disappointing. I love me some Star Wars.
  8. The funny part is Sera could have been an interesting character, if they'd made her more mature. She could still be bitter and distrustful due to her past, but in a more serious way. Instead, Bio wrote her like a petulant child. I've noticed that about a lot of BioWare's "moody" characters. Instead of coming across as brooding or serious, they come across as petulant.
  9. What did you expect from someone who has the maturity of a 10 year old spoiled brat?
  10. As I said, it's been a while since they've worked on a project I'm interested in.
  11. I'm more curious what Obsidian is doing after MCA. The tank game, an expansion to PoE. Anything else? Seems like ages since Obsidian made a game I was looking forward to (that wasn't Kickstarted).
  12. Lydia always sees to get in the way of my arrow shots. The only time she doesn't is during my first shot, when I sneak up on a foe and snipe him before he even sees me. But if it becomes a prolonged battle, she inevitably ends up running right into my line of fire.
  13. I keep forgetting that the civil war isn't the main questline in Skyrim.
  14. PS4 port? As far as I've seen, it's released on all three systems (XBox One, PS4, PC) at the same time.
  15. New DLC coming out on August 11th. Venturing into the Deep Roads ... again. Not really sure I want to play this, unless it has something to do with . It likely won't though, seeing as how the DLC is accessible anytime after you reach Skyhold.
  16. Cassandra's a great party companion. She's just too manly to talk to during cutscenes.
  17. I think I would have enjoyed that game more if I remembered more of the lore from the films/books. As it was, it had been quite a while since I saw the movies/read the books, so a lot of the story-behind-the-story was lost on me.
  18. Ironically enough, the only thing I did like about her was her accent. Mainly because I get a kick out of that accent in general. And from a gameplay perspective, I brought her along because she's good with a bow and she's a rogue (so I could always pick locks with her in the party). But the actual character personality, I didn't like at all. I found that quite a few of the party members were a bit of a waste this time around. I didn't care for Vivienne, either. And I found Cole way too cryptic in the way he spoke. I also didn't like Iron Bull. I think of the three Dragon Age games, this one had the most amount of party members I didn't like.
  19. Sera was a bad character, period, I thought. I don't know if BioWare was trying for some kind of caricature or what, but it was like the character was written by a ten year old, and each dialogue was spoken how that 10 year old would speak in those situations.
  20. LOL You'll see why I chuckled when you finish the game.
  21. I don't mind high level monsters for the rare types. It's just the "lesser" monsters that makes the enemy level system a bit odd. For instance, I have no issue with a high level Royal Wyvern. That should give the player a bit of trouble, and thus it makes sense you need to be at a certain level to take it on. But when drowners, random bandits, and ghouls are way above your level that they kill Geralt in one or two hits, that's where it gets a bit dodgy.
  22. It's even smaller than Lothering, when you factor in the stuff that you can do there (ie. quests associated with it). Kirkwall puts it to absolute shame, which is funny considering how much hate DA2 got.
  23. Poor guy. You're going to be waiting for a long time.
  24. I'm just randomly running around Skyrim, taking on any quests I stumble across. It seems to be the only way to play this game.
  25. Who aims with a touchpad?
