  1. More accolades for Obsidian. Funny to note that Fable, which one RPG of the Year for that other award show (was it the Spike TV one?) finished disappointing in the gamespy ones.
  2. Everytime I see jedipodo's name, I think of that Mandalorian girl on the Ebon Hawk and hear her saying "Ki puna! Bona na keechu!" whilst hitting herself.
  3. I didn't want a rush release. I didn't want an early release. All I ever bitched and complained about was a simultaneous release.
  4. Well you could cover it up. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> shh! Giving him too many things to do will give him an aneurism.
  5. I have a headache trying to decipher all these different XBox terms.
  6. Swedish people wear pink women's panties and smell like canola oil.
  7. What's on the main site right now? I haven't visited the main site since it was first launched. Wait actually I visited one time and saw it had a few character bios up. But other than the bios, I didn't take a look around.
  8. If you're a fan of Dukes Of Hazzard.
  9. I haven't read any spoilers about what the story is like, just the basics about how the ending is.....different. So personally I can't comment on whether more time needs to be spent on the story aspect. However, my one wish is that when the PC version is released, all (or atleast most) of those nagging issues I'm reading about in the tech help forum are fixed.
  10. I bloody well don't know.
  11. They bloody do surveys.
  12. Supposedly a network dedicated to men. Shows all the "typical male" shows or something.
  13. As per the official JE site- Jade Empire Availability: Calendar 1st quarter, 2005. Obviously there will be some games released that will be successful. But my point is none have the anticipation that a game like Halo 2 or Half Life 2 or Doom 3 had. I'm just saying that KOTOR2 has a better shot against the 2005 competition than it did against the 2004 competition.
  14. Final Fantasy XII S.T.A.L.K.E.R. F.E.A.R Call of Cthulu <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Not quite the same calibre of competition as the likes they faced in 2004.
  15. You never know. What games are lined up for 2005? All the anticipated "big boys" like HL2, Halo 2, GTA: SA, Fable, etc. have all been released in 2004.
  16. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Darque? Is that you?
  17. That would be logical if it applied for both the XBox and PC version. But since both PC versions (North American and European) are being released in February, that theory doesn't really hold.
  18. Weird. A couple of days after reading this thread I ran across the name in one of the books I was reading.
  19. I'd hope Obsidian would move on to their own project. Don't get me wrong, I'm ecstatic that they continued the KOTOR series and I'd like to see what they do with NWN series, but after those two it's time for an original title.
  20. My vote is to use the current engine to finish the third and final game in the KOTOR series, THEN move on to a new engine to create whatever spin off (KOTNR, or whatever they want to call it) they decide upon.
  21. Not necessarily true. For a lot of the issues, yes it was Troika. But I've followed other forums for both HL2 and VtMB and similar issues have plagued both games.
  22. Troika's saying the same thing about Vampire:the Masquerade Bloodlines as well, that it's Activision's call. So that means either a)Troika really should look at a contract better and make sure they have some say or b)Stop making buggy games that they know full well they won't be able to support without getting approval from their publisher. Other companies don't seem to have as big a problem with this as Troika does.
  23. Do your rich parents have any interest in adopting me? I'll send them Christmas and birthday cards in return for them buying me a new computer.
  24. Nice. At the very least, these accolades go a long ways towards helping Obsidian make a name for themselves. And finally an award where the masses didn't vote for Fable simply because of the overexaggerated comercials about how great it was.
