  1. Unless it somehow interferes or delays the release date, I don't see why not. I have a DVD, but even if I didn't I'd still vote yes, since I see no point in limiting all markets as long as it is feasible.
  2. His games collection doesn't exactly seem very extensive to be doing this kind of review. Barbie Horse Adventures?? wtf? I notice they also changed the developer at the top of the review.
  3. She's just in denial. I think she confused Revan with the cook aboard the Ebon Hawk. :D
  4. Really? I didn't think Revan nagged that much. "
  5. That was rather uncalled for. ps. Revan is a "he"
  6. Finally a chronicle I'm interested in. Especially the tidbit involving
  7. Pretty much how I interpreted that part too, yes <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah, I just re-read that part. In other words, that paragraph was a rather weird thing to add to the review unless a)he knows something the rest of us don't or b)he's just a confused person who doesn't know what he's trying to say.
  8. Is that what he meant? That paragraph (or how he worded it) confused me. I thought he meant to imply that Obsidian worked on the sequel to Bioware's game. I didn't infer from his comments that he meant that Bioware is now working on a third installment.
  9. Actually, as Volourn pointed out, the only time the review mentions Bioware is at the top of the screen. The review itself doesn't confuse Obsidian with Bioware.
  10. This part of the review caught my attention: Hmm.... Also this makes me happy to be a PC gamer: :D
  11. I'm still waiting for one of the devs to tear into one of the reviewers. That'd be worth the price of admission seeing one of the devs go postal. :D ps. Volourn didn't know about the names at the bottom of the thread. *points and laughs* ya n00b.
  12. Or maybe he just looked at the bottom of the page where it shows everyone browsing this thread. "
  13. I had more issue with his review than the actual score, for whatever that's worth.
  14. Read the reviewer's comments. Chances are, he shouldn't have said anything either. "
  15. I think this is the first review that I'll actually state the reviewer seems to have no grasp of what he's reviewing. Based on his own points, he seems to lack a fundamental understanding of why the choices you're given should affect the game world. Is this guy a "professional" reviewer? His comments (and grammar) are more akin to something you'd see on a message board, rather than what you'd come to expect from someone whose job it is to review games on a daily basis.
  16. I've been asking for that ever since the fiasco that was the KOTOR 1 manuals.
  17. You're thinking of Malak.
  18. Never had that happen to me in any of my play throughs (all 7 of them) of KOTOR I. Weird. I thought KOTOR I was near flawless in terms of no serious bugs or problems I had with it.
  19. Only got a 8.5? If it had gotten a score in the 6's or 7's, then I'd be worried.
  20. I'd scream like a little school girl. :">
  21. Maybe Hades_One and Chris Avellone are the same person. It all makes sense now. There has to be a reason Hades has never been reprimanded by the mods or admin here. "
  22. From the Teamxbox review, sounds promising. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If that's the reviewer's comments, then that speaks volumes about whether this reviewer shares my same likes and dislikes about a game.
  23. Apparently, he post a reply in the other thread started by Chris Avellone. If you want to discuss his review, he provided his email address.
  24. In fairness, I don't think the gamespot review was as guilty of this. But I agree that it seemed rather....a waste of time (for lack of a better phrase) that most reviews spend so much time talking about the graphics, and so little time talking about the story or the new features when, in fact, it's been known by most who have followed the development of this game that graphics was never going to be it's selling point. IMO, that would be like spending 75% of a review talking about Halo2's character development, rather than focussing on the fact it's a FPS and discussing aspects that are most sought after in a FPS.
  25. Yeah, sorry mods, I should have clarified that part too. I get an error message if I click on that link that envida provided. However, I can assess all the KOTOR forums by clicking on the individual links on the obsidian forum main page.
