It depends. If the Source engine is the cause for Bloodlines' issues, then definitely no. But if that's just Troika's fault, then maybe. Although to be honest, I didn't find that the animations added that much to the gaming experience compared to KOTOR (if at all).

Even though there's no official level cap, I wonder how high is the highest you'll be able to attain in a 40 or so hour long game. At the end of KOTOR 1, I was obviously level 20, but I accumulated maybe another couple of levels worth of XP at the most, so even if they allowed it, I would have maxed out at about level 22 or 23. I wonder what the max XP available will be and where that would put you in terms of a "soft" level cap.

Considering the amount of complaining you've done, I would have thought you'd atleast wait for the PC version and for one or two patches first.

I agree with you, in terms of continuity. But I think it's more difficult to achieve this with a game, as it would be with a novel or a movie.

If that shot was at me, I don't recall saying anything about XBox vs. PC. The original title said when are you getting yours, and since PC isn't available until February, I asked where that option was. Settle down chief.

I'd rather have one play through of a good linear game, than I would the ability to play through a crappy non-linear game a number of times. Btw, just because a game's main story is on the linear side doesn't mean it has no replayability. I think TSL is going to prove that quite well. Unless you want to argue that a)it's not a linear story or b)Obsidian is lying and that it will really only have one play through.

I agree. It seems to be a pretty quiet forum. Maybe because the topics are spread across, what, four or five different forums, instead of the two that KOTOR has. But there's not really much discussion going on. And the discussion that is going on is usually just about one or two new topics in which people are disagreeing back and forth with each other.

Where's the option for February?

If there isn't a KOTOR3, then Lucasarts has decided to go in a new business direction. That being, not wanting to make money on successful titles and instead developing horrible games. Why stop making a successful series? Only when sales and interest go down by a large percentage would it make sense to stop making them. Not while you're on the upswing in popularity.
