    SW movie

its a new movie genre. not to sound mean, cause i dont wanna offend anybody, but they must be pretty ugly to have to use a video game to make a movie. its not a new movie genre, cause "Video Games" isnt a movie genre machinima is a new movie genre. look it up at wikipedia or take a look at the academy.

  4. Well, there's not a whole to upgrade. Enemy ships already die in one hit, so unless they provided bigger targets which require more hits to kill, the weapons and shields systems are out. The ship doesn't need to go faster, as travel is mostly instantaneous. Maybe the addition of furniture? Lockerooms for stuff you don't need. Hologames, maybe? Not much else that I can think of. Maybe you could run cargo missions and you'd have to enlarge the hold? "HAR HAR! I shot down another starfighter... oooh, lookie here- he had a sofa in his tiny cargo hold." uhm. don't think so. it'd be nice to be able to do more with the ebon hawk though. y'know buy upgrades etc.
  5. yeah- i just made some of those changes in kotor- and man, i can tell ya- the game was much darker indeed! <_<
  6. he's right. i'd like to change from 2weapon to one-weapon modus. on the other hand... i can just pause the game, grab the other saber and assume that i've just switched it off....
  7. looks like she turned DS after all.

now, this ain't exactly way-off topic but as it doesn't fit anywhere else... http://www.agame-ukm.co.uk/ anyone seen those? marginally funny but actually nicely done. i think we'll see that this genre improves once the game engines become more realistic.
  9. Your last system was built in the 20's? *g* i think he means the electrical wiring... playing kotor on a mechanical computer would suck, i guess...
  10. hmm. wrong forum. maybe ya oughta post on some it-help board?
  11. maybe you'd get to salvage the ships? you know, add repair parts into your equipment?
  12. You mean "Force Focus", not "Force Breach", right? ummm. no. but it was late when i posted that one... so... lets settle on a maybe.
  13. shall i begin termination, meatb- i mean... master?
  14. some bigger stuff as well- fight some rancors in the arena. i've seen the critters in the screenshots to kotor2. to go against those in the arena would be nice as well. though i figure that voluntarely fighting against living creatures might be tough on a lightsider. i like the idea of fighting droids. but on should be restricted from using visual force powers. it should be kindda obvious if you just fry the droids from where you stand, no?
  15. Nah, it's probably a girl thing. Girls talk a lot *Considering where to hide from predicted retaliation*
  16. reminds me of the half life 2 engine. ...which would actually be quite cool as one would be able to really slice objects apart with a saber
  17. well, it's not so much the classes as the powers as well. you can pick force wave no matter what jedi class you have. though that may be quite fine, it blurs the difference between these classes. maybe some powers should only be available to some classes? (before you contradict, yes i am aware that force breach is only available to councelors as force jump is to guardians- i'm speaking core powers here, such as lightsaber throw)
  18. the ideal sith is one of those sith-named-dudes here in this forum. can't remember his name, but he seemed quite evil to me : :D
  19. man, we need a new space-fighting star wars game. play your own... oooooh. waittaminuteigottapostthisseparately.... *bg*
  20. would be kindda difficult to walk with those shoes, eh?
  21. SECONDED! keep in mind guys- we HAVE a keyboard
  22. is too... no, come on guys, i don't wanna go into lengthy discussions here. again, i'm only stating what i've read in some (source)books. i'm not making anything up- just stating what i've read. you have issues with that? go complain to lucas. i only have a gungan and ewok issue there with that fella...
  23. if you play classless point-based systems, you won't have a problem with that. force-sensitivity would depend on a stroke of luck (game master rolls when you create your character. if you're force sensitive, you may become a jedi or a force adept, else you may not)- kindda like in galaxies. though i must admit that i do not know of a good system that might reflect what i just wrote. The Old Star Wars RPG system by West End games is a classless point system like you described. good system ...alas... i lost count of the d6 i had to roll
  24. hmm. i think that opus is pretty much right in all of the stuff he said right there. still, i'd like to get some news froms the devs on that. i guess i'll have to wait for the game development to advance a little further... anyhow, to me, it also felt like playing "the jedi" no matter what i chose. i'd like to see the roles of these classes reflected in the quests and the dialogues as well. though i realize that the last bit would be kindda tough on the crew.
