Not from the developers, but from the Expanded Universe: Dxun- Dxun, one of four moons orbiting the planet Onderon, is home to numerous bloodthirsty monsters. Due to Dxun's erratic orbit, several of the creatures were able to migrate to aaah. now i remember the place. the beast riders of onderon. gotcha. well, if dxun is one of the new planets, then maybe onderon is too.

if everyone is familiar with the system, it doesn't matter whether it has many rules or just a simple set. familiarity with the system is important, too. if you don't have to stop every 10 minutes for a rule-based question, you don't get out of the story flow.

? why? you take the heads that you've already created, change the colour a bit and add a tattoo somewhere on the head. that's not that much work. i can do that within minutes in maya if i've got the heads and the tattoo ready. just superimpose on the texture.

Multiple Opponent Combat Animations.

do you mean the game engine or d20-like system? -
you're right. fardragon has got a point there- if the DS amplifies hate, the natural tendency of humans to dislike those they don't know might turn into racial hatred. there have been enough alien sith in the EU to support the thesis that sith are not racist. sith just hate non-sith, no matter what culture they are from. besides, the empire was NOT sith

mebbe u know this. mebbe u don't. so here it goes: Try this very soon, before "someone" forces Google to fix its site: 1) Go to google 2) Type in "weapons of mass destruction" (DON\'T hit return) 3) Hit the "I\'m feeling lucky" (szczesliwy traf)button, NOT the "Google search" 4) Read the "error message" carefully. Someone at Google has a sense of humour. And will probably be fired soon.

y? the only alien sith was the twilek on korriban. are there going to be just human sith in kotor2 as well? i'd think that the sith aren't too choosy if the person proves to be strong and up to it. more alien sith would be nice.

"hello, great jedi master..." *whisper* "how do they know that i'm a jed- aaaaah! what's that on my forehead?"

sounds great- it would also fit with the movies. one group is doing something, achieves its goal, then suddenly... ...wipe transition (cut) to... ...second group doing something else.

PROOF! PROOF! PROOF! i can generate dozens of screenshots as well. just a little gimp here and there... voila- screenshot. i ain't believin it. yeah, call me a doubbity-doubter.

the npc tattoo artist idea is great. they'd just have to change the head-texture. sounds cool.

has there ever been a superhero rpg? can't remember. it'd be something though. pick your powers, create your costume, your secret ID and off you go. join up with other superheros... ...or supervillain of course. or a superhero taken for a supervillain.

any more info on the planet?

stormtroopers killed anything in the movies? wow... how'd that happen? musta been a lucky shot.

the jedi have an agracorps, you know. maybe he was a farmer. "i survived the mandalorian wars." "you've been 80 friggin lightyears away from it." "so?"

looks like you ended up in an action-oriented group. it's not enough to know the rules of a pnp game, one must also agree on the type of play. do you want to roll dice, get some action and have a demigod-level char? do you want to be part of an entertaining story? do you want humour? horror? sexuality? the group has to agree on what to concentrate on. my simple rule of thumb is: if i can't do anything else with the group i'm in, i don't play with them. with anything else i mean stuff like playing soccer, watching a movie, playing some strategy-board game... whatever. if you don't meet the people besides rpg, then you probably won't get much out of it. i still play with different people, but we only do one-shots know. maybe it comes with the age, but it's rather fun to just meet for a quick session with pizza, wine and music then develop characters for ages and ages... as to the system: anything really. it's just rules anyway. we've become pretty fond of the d20 system actually. it's pretty straight-forward and fast to play. you don't have to calculate much.

yes, there are. thx 4 posting. any way we could see those screenshots?

this stupid thread has been going on far too long. we ALL know that these guys aren't going to get s*** together- they're just spamming away. from al that i've read here, this is one of the most ambitious TCs i've heard of. bigbrotheriswatching is completely right in what he says. none of you "modders" make the impression that you know what you are talking about. if you really want to be taken seriously, then how about presenting ONE (yes, just a single, tiny one) location to the public, so that we don't go "sheesh. what a bull"

The Secret of the Sith Lords
sniggy replied to Seth Tansill's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
no. the sith were an alien race. they had built a great empire, with MARKA RAGNOS being one of the first known sith lords. since they were strong in the force but followed "a different philosophy" then the jedi, they weren't exactly welcome in the old republic. the sith race died as exar kun destroyed the last remnants of the race in order to save his force spirit. the dragon-like monsters you speak of are just dark side experiments. -
A more general Star Wars question....
sniggy replied to Ivan the Terrible's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
whahaha... why, i wouldn't dream of it. ONE problem i do have with the sith though, especially with KOTOR: "only two there are - master and apprentice" well, right-o, only problem is: this rule was introduced with darth bane, 2000 years before the movies. KOTOR however was even before that time. so why did malak "grudgingly" took the role of the apprentice? there was no need to do so- they just could have been sith equals. -

did you know... ...that the word "sith" is celtic for "fairy"? -

addition: by the time of his first death, he is 88 years old. in episode 2, he is 52 years old. due to his interest in archeology, palpatine studied the ruins in korriban and is likely to have met with a sith ghost there. PS: oh yeah, got the info from SW databank, the unofficial encyclopedia and wikipedia. -

sniggy replied to Ivan the Terrible's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
the EU isn't clear on the master n apprentice thing with palpatine. what is known however, is that the emperor possessed both a sith and a jedi holocron, the latter being stolen from him by skywalker. as to his origin before naboo... well, just compare this pic with the one above... -
A more general Star Wars question....
sniggy replied to Ivan the Terrible's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
palpatine was a senator of naboo. early in his career, he strived only to have power in the senate, yet as he got hold of an old sith holocron, he started his journey into the dark side. he didn't get recruited by anyone. -
Why are we limited to Dark or Light?
