Actually, under some of the newer rules implementations it doesn't matter if you roll a 20 or not. Monsters that are large and greater in size requires greater massive damage rules to kill instantly. Such a dragon of collossal size would require 90 hit points done in one hit. A long sword, lets say +5, weilded by a moderate strong warrior, lets say a 16 strength, would at maximum would only do 32 points of damage. Even if you were using the baseline massive damage system or the the d20 Modern massive damage there is no way a character could kill the dragon with a single hit on a criticial hit.

My suggestion is let the series die. LA doesn't even care enough to give K2 a proper development time and now they don't even care enough for the game to give it proper support after release. If the Publusher doesn't give a crap, let the series die.

Well, the first game was too easy as well as the NWN game and they both basically use the same rules system. I just don't think the d20 System translates well on the computer.

It is silly to get a game on a console that cannot be patched when it also exists on the PC and it can, unless the purchaser does not have a PC.

You know, the game has been out for a while. Its been known the ending was less than spectacular and how could it be with a 12 month development time? Do some research on the game before you buy. It'll save you a lot of headaches.
