  1. Err... Lords and Masters? (like Orcs and Humans )
  2. Yeah I think you're right. Just that K1 fits more to an RPG. In K2 it just felt like your choices didn't mean anything. It's just like in The Phantom Menace you could choose whether to get a T14 hyperdrive generator (or how that thing was named) one way or another - thing is you ended up the same but in that game that was the whole purpose of it. You weren't to change the story. BTW K2's story wouldn't be novelized anyway since the similarities of
  3. Maybe the wrong forum to ask for this but is there a 2da table for item generation chances or a script which I could modify and change it so that you can get those better items even if you're on lower levels?
  4. Yep. Couldn't agree more Whatever happened to things like: - tricking 2 sith masters to argue with one another while you get the whole profit from it, - forcing the ever so neutral and having laws that suposedly everyone must obey fishies to let you walk freely on their planet after destroying their kolto + poisoning the water which surely caused alot of fishies to die - using Chuundar to your own ends - make Zaalbar kill Mission (even after he says "Chuundar learned me how to use you to our own profits" or sth like that) - everyone and I MEAN EVERYONE who pissed you off could be brought to suffering in the end In K2 your most highly manipulative option was like changing the salvager's will LOL :D And I miss those sittuations where you really felt powerful after doing something. In K2 I even felt like it was cuz Kreia helped me that I defeated a Jedi Master (cuz she learned me one of the force/lightsaber techniques when fighting him). And I defeated Nihil cuz I'm a wound in the force :/
  5. Hmm... this is about a spoiler so I'll post this in spoil-tag too : again So just no :D
  6. I'll be certainly trying this LSstart-DSend cuz K2's story... well... it just amazingly fits the Kreia-Palpy, Exile-Anakin match. You get to choose whining answers wherever you go and whatever you do (especially when Kreia throws a comment at your LS/DS doing) plus the Exile's being beat up every hour yet gets to kick alot of ass -> just like Anakin. I'm gonna do Sentinel-Weapons Master OR Guardian-Weapons Master (though I always liked mixing the classes not choosing standard prestige classes for the basic ones like Consular-Sith Lord). Though I'll try as much as possible to rather fall slowly to DS not like most of ppl here like: "...and I'm gonna do Nar Shadda next but at Dantooine I'm going to full darkside!" It just wouldn't be fun at all for me to rapidly change my allignement like that.
  7. Yes it's Sleheyron. One of the Devs told that it was cut out early. Mostly only scripts were made for it and Sleheyron being mentioned by Yuthura was added after Sleheyron was cut from what I renember. There was a topic on this at Bioware Forums somewhere.
  8. Oh of course. Storywise Kreia could zap Malak like she did the 3 jedi masters and walking up to Malak and clicking him would pop up a message that says "the Sith seems lifeless" PS Funny thing is - Nihilus could beat anyone - even Kreia though the Exile owned him cuz he got a special feat 'wound in the force' :D even after he got owned by Mira with a paralyzing dart from the back (DS)
  9. Would you like someone to come to your home, act like he's boss, order himself around and not leave after he just captured you by first frying your ass with lightning? It isn't his independence or inobedience that pissed me - it's the fact that I can't even kill the damn thing. OK you maybe think I'm some 10 year old who has nothing to do but piss himself off on game characters but in reality it's not all that annoying and I'm like 2 times as old So let me be more clear about this -> If I say sth like 'sth in a game pisses me off' then I don't mean it with all that much power. I nearly ment to say: "The game character G0T0 is not a good addition to Knights of The Old Republic II because it is events like his addition to the Party create some sittuations which force me to wonder whether I am playing a powerful Jedi in this game and if yet the answer is yes then is this powerful Jedi actually intelligent? In some points in the game you can clearly show the way of behaviour of your game character but in some points you are forced to some behaviours like - unpredicting (after finding out Kreia's Sith you get answers like "wha??" or "OMG! how can this be??" OR you trust Mira by going into her room expecting I don't really know what not predicting she wants to do anything bad to you), too trusting (you trust Mira after she gasses you and you even invite her to you party OR above mentioned Goto's actions and the Exile's answer to them), unintelligent and overally weak. Thereby overally it is not G0T0 who is annoying. It is the way they they show the Exile's actions towards him. But that is just another small percent of what I think to be K2's biggest flaw." That's to clear things up
  10. Oh but we have no doubt he's useful. I think it's rather storywise that he pisses most of us off. Kreia is also useful - she has the most attribute points used at start in the entire game. Even the Exile can't have so many attribute pts spent (especially knowing above 14 costs 2 at char creation) though I really hated the old hag.
  11. It's like the dialog where you come to Kreia for your prestige class: Kreia: "Ah, you are here. You felt it, did you not?" Your options: - Yes, it was a sound, like power. - It was Visas' Master - he can feel my presence in the Force. - It was a sound, like a heart, yet like a voice. But I never recall any sound or disturbance or anything when I reach lvl 15.
  12. Damn G0t0 - wish I could just kill him on his yacht when I get there not look at his damn holo and watch how he acts human
  13. Hey maybe they didn't do an ending cuz... Kreia beat the Exile in the final fight?? Maybe the proper ending is neither DS or LS? I wouldn't be surprised considering how they like to show Kreia's power on every occasion.
  14. Well she ain't mentioned but you see her in a holo that T3 can display for you (note: you must first set Revan as Male plus to make T3 display it for you -> 16 or above INT or sth like that is required) -> you can do this by Ossus Keeper Robe which gives INT+ and Force Valor also adds INT if your main character doesn't have too much of it. If you set Revan to LS Male I believe (donno if Exile must be Male too) then she appears after the destruction of the Ravager after you talk to Carth. EDIT: Yeah and I forgot the Korriban holocron if Revan's DS Male.
  15. Malak was weak in comparison to Kreia-Round1 IMO Kreia-RoundII however was more difficult cuz you could actually defend yourself against Malak's saber. Donno if it's just for me (a bug?) but I never seem to have dodged/defended against a single attack of one of Traya's sabers. Ok if you got a high CON or DEX you can beat Kreia easily or at least that's how Kreia was not even half an equal to my LS Consular/Master. BTW if some of you don't like the difficulties of some characters there's always KTool for that I made Nihil stronger, Sion's got a great CON and more force resistance, the Masters have less STR but more hp which makes these fights longer. Not like when I played DS and fought Zez-Kai-Ell in Rebuilt Enclave -> he fell after one Flurry, and Kavar took me 50%VP with a power strike while I could beat him with two Force Kills.
  16. Err... no. I get only limited to dialog options, if I fight anyone - they must die, I can't even shoot them in the legs and most certainly -> I don't wait until I get more experience in combat to start hitting on a girl again I just do it when I decide it is right. If it were a reflection of me when speaking of the 0DS-LS100 meter then that would mean I'm a total-monk-with-'no attachments'-who-sometimes-gets-super-angry-and-wants-to-kill-babies-for-1-month but-later-calms-down-and-starts-to-be-yet-someone-else. So that'd mean I'm different every month And so I must repeat this again: ever heard of roleplay??
  17. Ehm... you ppl have probably never played Blood then j/k I don't give a damn about what I do to ppl in a game. Nobody gets hurt in real life so I don't care. If I had played the game with a sense of 'what I'd do in real life' then I'd probably end up ussually at 65 in the 0DS-LS100 meter. OK I admit that I'm really roleplaying the game at it and laughing when someone gets hurt but it's only a game. DS is fun (w00t) Too bad DS in K2 is much more limited to NihilusII style ("Now you die!... whoever you are!") because of no gray options but I could talk about that all day and none who could bring that into K2 would listen anyway.
  18. Then why do the dialog options to choose from sound like no matter what -> the Exile had no idea Kreia was evil and didn't expect it even a bit?
  19. Yeah you're right I guess. They did say all many good things about Revan but... In K3 are they gonna say that the Exile was kicked so often as he/she was? Nope. It's gonna be: "William Wallace has killed 50 people!" next: "William Wallace has killed 200 armed strong men using only his left arm!!" We acctually get to see Malak in action.
  20. Hmm this is about the 100th poll about this but I'll add my 2 cents as ussually. K2 was nice. OK ok I know that I said a hundred times that K1's better and I still do. Thing is that K2 was a really great game but K1 was like... THE GAME. K2's biggest flaws were it's incompleteness, bugs (from what I hear - not that I have encountered all that many of them) and the lack of intelligent dialog options (IMO). "Revan and Exile are Not Our characters..............." Eh... roleplay anyone??
  21. Traya (Kriea) - oh it's "puppies are green, Exile." and in another dialog "you say puppies are green? you would be wrong, Exile!". Yeah I know that they wanted to make Kreia powerful but they blew it. They wanted to give her 'intelligent' dialogs and mentor like answers which should make you feel dumb whenever she says sth but the only dumbness I felt was in the dialog choices that I had in reply to the stupid thing she just said. Kreia was annoying. Annoying because whenever there was sth stupid she said you could never answer with sth cool to her. You could never be smarter than her, you could never be more powerful. Nihilus - great concept, potential and all but... uh... failed with using it. They should have at least made it that at the middle of the battle with him he starts draining Telos, you distrupt him with a Lightning bolt or sth in his arse but because he still drained some life -> he'll get a 30pt bonus to CON and WIS or sth. That's how I would make it. Strange similarity: Kreia and Nihilus both sometimes probably don't know what they're saying :D Sion - damn whiner. Poor example of a Sith Lord. I mean how much whining did he do that the first kotor1 char I compared him to was Carth! Thing I didn't like about both Nihil and Sion is that they were a little bit of a waste of potential. Revan - great tactician and all. I can't have anything against him cuz Revan is acctually only mentioned of when talking about before amnesia and during it he's exactly how you play him. I wouldn't vote for him however cuz it's like someone said that it could be that so many ppl like Revan because they acctually get to be him. Oh well but there are no better choices so go Revan! :D BTW unlike the Exile -> Revan gets to become a Sith Lord again with a beautiful DS ending. He's got Bastila, an infinite fleet, a planet with beach and sunshine -> all the body needs (ok ok I assumed Revan as male though some of you can't imagine him to be anyone else but a blonde girl). Malak - I ehm... liked him! He had the still remaining in my mind Revan complex or how do you call it. He was strong. He commanded the Sith for a reason -> luck - Revan got almost killed and everyone else feared Malak cuz there was no one else but Revan who could challenge Malak. Yes yes - he wasn't very bright but he wasn't even a bit annoying. Not annoying because whenever there was sth stupid he said you could answer with sth cool to him. You could always be smarter than him, you could always be more powerful.
  22. I really can't say exactly though I prefer K1's story cuz the main character was your character even though you got a fixed past -> K2's story was all about If it were a movie then ok ok - the story's good in K2, Maybe it's because of K1 I got used to being important in the storyline and in K2 I felt like the pushover who's there just in case if anyone important wants to show how he/she can kick ass.
  23. Anyways if you don't like sth in a game -> change it yourself (w00t) ' I'm good at scripting things... always was. ' :D
  24. Well in K1 you could: - force Manaan authorities to let you stay on their planet doing everything you want even though you poisoned their water and god knows how many fishies died because of that. - make Uthar and/or Yuthura believe you were allied with them (note: you can poison both and make your fight against both -> now that's sth kickass you can do!) - make big Z kill Mission If someone ever pissed you off -> you could make him/her pay dearly. In K2 you get kicked far too many times and can't do nothing about it.
  25. I'm talking about subtleties which I can perform. Not Kreia. Subtleties, cool quotes, manipulation, ass kicking zap powers are all reserved to Kreia in K2. No one else can do any of the mentioned. That's the whole problem.
