I think the Czerka excavation site on Telos (or is that how that place with those tons of mercs is called). No.2 goes to Kreia's 3 lightsabers - man do they do damage! I had to pack myself with a pair of Life Support Packs to win this. In Round one she's easy but in two her lightsabers do strangely enough the same amount of damage every playthrough no matter how much I beef up my constitution and dexterity or just leave it alone. Hard battles are against the Jedi Masters but they're too damn quick. If you don't kill one of them in 2 attacks - he does. What kind of a stupid idea is that to make a character with all Attribs beefed to 28 and something like 50VP??!! I've already done some modifications of my own so that these fights aren't so strange. In K1 however I didn't have to do anything like that at all. Yeah.. Talia's good for you to check out how many damage you can do in one Flurry heh She wasn't that tough for me though.

There is no restoration of the cut content in those patches. All they do is add better quality to music and to the movies in the game. IMO it's worth it. Makes playing the game so much better with the nice music quality and watching the movies doesn't make your face go but (w00t)

Oh and don't get me wrong. I reeeeeally so much didn't like the whole 'Kreia's mass manipulation and foreseeing everything' thing but I'm just trying to find a normal explanation to every power variation in a single character (for example why the Exile was so weak yet so powerful and smart yet so dumb).
-
Nope. Nihilus was scaring the crap out of her. The only person who could defeat him was [Vrook voice]a wound in the force[/Vrook voice]so Nihil couldn't use his super powers against the Exile.
-
So now she already saw she was going to loose *jsut* a hand. What if Sion went and cut her in 2? Ah well, luck is Force-Powered, right? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah, you know - it's that whole "I have foreseen it all" thing. Makes me nervous... :D
-
Kreia could kick Sion's butt anytime she wanted - it's just an old granny like her had to find some way to make the Exile allow her to join with him and found a way to show that their force bond was lethal but really wasn't. She didn't care for the hand cuz she knew that she'd die by the end of the Exile's training anyway.
-
It makes sense that Atris couldn't sense Kreia, but the fact that Vroom or Kaviar can't even see her doesn't. It's stupid, bad, and more stupid. And bad. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No. That's controversial. Atris' holocrons frying your ass after you kill her - now THAT'S stupid.

TSL Restoration Project: Work in Progress
Darth Kavar replied to Aurora's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
You will be able to use your old savegames though sometimes that may cause complications because some things are loaded at level start (like characters, their feats etc.) and some only at their execution (like dialogs). For example when using the Master Vash mod when entering the academy if you didn't have the mod installed and then install it and load a game inside the academy you'll get a dialog saying it isn't Master Vash in the cage though that will be her due to the fact that the character got loaded at the module initiation. -
Yes the dialog of the Serocco leader has a [success] line on attacking the exchange but it's below the [Failure] line which has no conditions so it won't run (those of you who edited dialogs know what I mean) and there is no such script that would make the serocco attack the exchange. Could be done though but after the Serocco would win there is probably no dialog on what their leader would say to you so it would be just like with all those dialogs where you make party members into jedi and you don't talk about it after.
-
G0T0 naturally. I don't know what was supposed to be cool in this character anyway? I mean - alright as an enemy he was alright but as a party member? Come on! How can you not ignore someone with an attitude like: "I'm gonna float over you all your life and spit at you. You can't touch me! You can't kill me! You have uses to me - pray that it does not change!" Enough that he's on my ship insulting me with his presence - why should I take him out as a party member? Best way IMO is to consider Goto dead, never talk to him on the EH - simply ignore him.
-
Because I already threw her down the pits of Malachor V. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> ...and what happened to the Emperor after he was thrown down to a pit?... EDIT: oh and I ment the Expanded Universe, not just till the end of Episode VI
-
Heh it's alright - I didn't feel attacked :D Just that HP is life isn't it... So why can't Nihil drain it... Aahh... forget it. Trying to understand how a force void can be wounded is just stupid Either that or the exile is invincible (w00t)
-
Kreia can make herself invisible, can create pseudo-lethal force bonds at will, can drain 3 jedi masters at one time, can read minds of pretty much anyone, can contradict herself in a single sentence twice and nobody will notice, can drain wounds in the force (when DS) though Nihilus can't do that, can be beaten with 3 Master Flurries on Malachor (w00t) The only thing she can't do is read Bao-Dur's mind. LOL :D

I liked the fights (except maybe one hand single blade animations were crap and I'm still trying to figure a way to get those from K1 back). The story was good though it didn't fit for an RPG. You really didn't have much of a choice because you did what Kreia foresaw anyway (IMO she should have died in the middle of the game so you could actually make a difference with your decisions later). Yeah... I liked the fights though in cinematics I got owned by and where's the fun in that. BTW the name shouldn't have been "The Sith Lords" but "Echoes" -> I mean there's like 200 times that echo's repeated (put 'echo' into your dialog.tlk searching program and see what happens and then do the same with K1 dialog.tlk). :D

Donno if any of you noticed this but a little inconsistency: Kreia (about the Harbinger) says: "(...)When I learned that you were on the vessel, I knew the Sith would not be far behind. " then: "When we intercepted the Harbinger, it was crippled, drifting in space. It was a simple matter to board the vessel and rescue you. " So let's set the facts straight -> the Sith warship attacks the Harbinger, Kreia arrives on the Ebon Hawk, rescues you from the Harbinger and while escaping in the Ebon Hawk the Sith fire upon it causing the damage seen in the prologue. BUT when we watch the holorecords on the Harbinger: "We picked up a distress signal and are sending a message to the Republic for permission to investigate. We have also transmitted the damaged vessel's ID signature to the Republic. According to the message, it's being pursued by Sith forces." So the Ebon Hawk was the first to be attacked by the Sith? Not the Harbinger! In another holorecord there is: "Sir, we've just received an emergency broadcast... a freighter, under attack by Sith forces." So obviously you can tell from the moment you're on the Harbinger scrolling the messages and later comparing it to what Kreia told you on the Ebon Hawk that she brought the Exile into this mess in the first place. When she tells me: "They sought you Jedi." I wanted to tell: "They were after YOU. And you led them here. You are Sith. Ain't that obvious? LOL" :D

Well what I wanted to say is that is just like adding something totally unfitting to a completely random moment in the game. Like when fighting Traya in the end suddenly she would spawn a large green bunny to fight you. That's exactly what I thought of the electrifying holocrons. It's just as if Obsidian wanted to make yet another "damn! you got owned again!" moment but didn't know where to put it.

When playing the Ravager yesterday I've noticed than when killing the Male Sith Captain (the one on the first screenshot posted here) screamed like a girl when he died - I looked into KTool and bam! what I saw was Sound Set: Handmaiden. OK so they made one mistake but because of that I've decided to pay greater attention to sound sets of my enemies. Next I've killed a Female Sith Lieutenant and believe me when she fell to the ground it sounded like she was packed with Durasteel and weighted almost a ton. I look into KTool and what I see on this character: Sound Set: Tank Droid ROTFLLMAO! BTW Dark Jedi's there have Gand or Gran sound sets but that just didn't surprise me too much after noticing the first two.
-
What if I just take the ship to the restoration zone and not give a damn about the mercenaries attacking the Ithorians? Will I then meet them at Telos again when the Ravager comes? Kinda reminds me of when helping Opo Chano to escape Telos. You meet him at the docks and on Nar Shaddaa in the flophouse. If you come back on Telos - he's still there lol!
-
We need those characters in RPGs which our character hates. One thing is hating a character as the person in front of your computer. Another is hating a character as the roleplayed character. OK all you who don't play DS cuz you feel bad about it later won't understand the philosophy above
-
Just checked it out. It's awesome! Considering that only this amount of dialogue was available - this is the best that could be done with Vash. Plus she NEVER SAYS THE WORD "echo"!!!!!!!! OMG!! Now isn't that great! :D
-
I noticed it when leveling-up HK-47. My question -> where in the game can I use it?? Or is it just another thing which was cut out but they forgot to remove the feat?

1. What elements in 'KotOR II' did you find the most impressive? I can't really think of one so let's say all the things they didn't change from K1 (well maybe apart from item-creation which was a nice feature added in K2). I also liked the combat. 2. What was your favorite moment? Sky Ramp + Palace (especially when DS cuz you get to fight Kavar in the end) 3. What location would you have like to see more extensively? Nar Shaddaa - I mean all that was shown was some back-alleys of the planet. The damn refugee camp felt more 'alive' than the place where Kreia says 'it is the real Nar Shaddaa' where everyone of us was supposed to say whoo! nice! 4. What was your favorite Robe to wear? I've made myself one custom using the model of Bandon's Armor but it was black and shined like armor. I mostly wear robes which look good, not give the best stats. 5. What was your favorite Lightsaber Crystal? Orange and Violet 6. Did you prefer to play as a male or female PC? Male. Simply cuz I am one plus I wouldn't like the idea of the male NPC's hitting on me. 7. If there was (one) conclusion you would like to have seen what or whose would it be? Just One! Yes - a real Darkside conclusion. Not the - oh I'm so angry stupid rage guy who killed everybody everywhere and left Malachor intact and lives there with only a couple of Storm Beasts plus doesn't know what to do next now that everyone's dead. 8. At this point, you know about the missing content, out of everything that was edited, what (one) element would you have like to see completed? Just One! Ehh... M4-78? Simply cuz it would add most to the game. But I doubt that would ever be restored so let's say the HK Factory. 9. Out of all the Star Wars games, and without listing them all, what would you rate this game? Second best. 10. Despite the game being as it is, what would you consider to be the most successfull addition to the series? There are alot of things which I could write here but they just weren't completed. It would be: Atris, Nihilus or Sion but all of them didn't just receive the amount of attention they deserve. So uhm... Robes? 11. Who was you favorite character, and why? It would be Atris really but her meaning just fell short when suddenly all that began to matter was Kreia. It would be Nihilus but... as above. It would be Sion but he started whining. So I say Vrook! 12. What (one) element in 'KotOR I' would you liked to have seen in KotOR II? Why? You mean 'from' K1? Then It'd be the attention brought to DS actions of your character. I mean you ussually got only one DS choice and 4 LS in K2. Come on! Plus manipulative options for your PC! In K2 you get an invisible feat called 'Manipulation' with prerequisities: Kreia only dammit!

It could be because of a mod you've put into your Override folder.

The missing 3 force forms?
Darth Kavar replied to Falconhurst's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
It isn't so that Vrook teaches you a specific form. It depends on which form is next for your class to learn. -
Kotor 2's real name
Darth Kavar replied to WILL THE ALMIGHTY's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I dunno but the SWK2: "Echoes" :/ sad but true. Echo was like repeated millions of times for no reason in K2. I'm playing K2 the 4th time now and I get really sad when someone says the word Echo again Or how about K2: Bunch of sad or been-through-tough-past people.
