  1. Utter garbage. If I own a company; i should be able to fire and hire anyone I so choose. Period.
  2. Malak was more challenge than any of the competiiton in KOTOR2. He actually had me using using the uber helaing paks. I used ZERO of them in KOTOR2. Bah. One of the big reasons is that you simply couldn'yt spam force powers non stop. And, your sabre didn't do 40+ damage without trying.
  3. Have you seen the bloodlust on this board in regards to KOTOR2? 'Nice' and 'reasonaly' are not in gamer's vocabularies.
  4. So, basically you want us to group together and bully companies. Nah, I don't wanna be a part of a hive mind.
  5. HK has underwear?..
  6. Just conbtinue to cause trouble for the Exchange on the planet. That basically means complete as many quests as possible.
  7. Whatever. My only offensive force power was stun )both living and droid). My strength ws 10. I barely used the item creation stuff. To blame the player for the game being easy is pretty sad. KOTOR1 was easy; but KOTOR2 is 1 million times easier. And, oh, you had an option of 3-4 planets in KOTOR1 as well. But, hey, continue being a Rah Rah Fanboy for Obsidian. Ther eis NO exuse for the game being this easy. None. Zilch. Zero.
  8. None of the above. The story is good. Not great. Even without the story cuts; the story would not be the greatest.
  9. People seem to forget that KOTOR2 was *always* scheduled to be released between december 2004, and february 2005. Really, the schedule wasn't pushed up or down. It was released about the time it was originally scheduled for.
  10. Nonsense. It's the game's fault. Not the rules. Don't make exuses for poor balancing. And, no purposely nerfing my character is not an option. I mean, sure, I could play naked with no items, restrict myself to no force powers or items to make it hard; but what be the point other than giving my self a gaming blow job? I'll pass. I play within the confines of the game. If it's too easy; its the creators fault. Not mine.
  11. Welll.. somehow Remote, Goto, and Mira at the minimum got to Malichor V. I'd say Bao sent Remote 'cause perhaps he doens't want tos et foot on Malichor V ever again. Remember, he took part in that war as well so I doubt he'd be too happy facing those dmeons yet again. Of course, it is possible you ar eright and he did die; but I wouldn't count on it.
  12. "And no spoiling KOTOR2's ending in this thread!" What spoilers? "Then what's this hypocrisy with people hailing KOTOR1 as having no flaws then dissing KOTOR2's ending?" What hypocrisy? Perhaps, people don't see what you (or I) think of as KOTOR1 flaws as flaws. Perish the thought. Then again, you like Peragus Station. No accounting for taste it seems. " Stick with telos, and Nard Sharr. They are the awesome.
  13. Kreia always had a difficult time reading Dao's thoughts. Dao isn't even on the planet. He was still on the Ebon Hawk when he gave Remote the responsibilty to blow up the planet..
  14. Why are you trolling? This thread is not needed. I think JE will be good. My biggest beef is its combat and it being x-box exlusive. Though; I think Aurora would be happily surprised likely to find out that JE may very well be BIO's best game with regards toa ctual role-playing. <>
  15. I liked Telos, Nard Shaar, and Datooine. Korriban, and Dxun were ok. Onderon, Peragus (not really a world), and Malichor V were pretty useless and crappy though Malichor had awesome music and the beast could have been better if they actually were a challenge.
  16. "As for the ending of KOTOR2, I find it strange that it's criticized so anyway, given how KOTOR1's ending (lightside, at least) was basically a 1 min scene where you see your party members standing and doing nothing as someone gives a speech. That wasn't particularly satisfying." Um... Sounds like KOTOR2's ending. <>
  17. "Depends on how well you cleaned out the storm beasts. If you didnt clean them out then the droid bit was far from easy." Heh. i did. I would think if you didn't kill the beasts and one was in the way you have ZERO chance against them with the little guy. LOL He is level 1 with no items. :D He does move quickly.. a little too quick. "Mira was another one with that giveaway Jedi vibe so she just smacked him into the wall repeatedly with force wave." She wasn't for me. I just shot him with guns and healed when i got to half hps. "I was expecting your love interest to come along for the final showdown. But I expect most of the others would have been occupied by either keeping the ship from falling to it's doom or been killed. Seems likely that Bao Dur was killed given how the orders were given and that Kreia couldnt see a future for him." Um... Accoridng to Kreia none of them died... They all lived rather 'Happy Happy' lives.
  18. "You need the droidball for the blow MV to bits ending." Of course. That coula been done with a quick cut scene instea dof focing you to play the 'start up the 4 computers' game. That was boring. Mira was a tad better as at least you got to have some real interatcion, and of course the battle with her was at least semi challenging since she was like level 13 (leveled her up though) with pretty crappy equipment. Still beat him relatively easy with literal use of healing... <> Still, not needed and felt disjointed. If they wnated you to be sperated from your paryty members; they should have it made so all the way. Plus, there's the fact there is no logical reason why your fellow party memmbers wouldnt have come with you into the last journey...
  19. "The flaw isnt in the game, it's in the rules. Exactly the same with KOTOR except it didnt kick in quite so soon. Fast leveling dosnt help, but it only brings things forward." Nonsense. It's in the game. These are Sith/Dark Jedi. They should have access to the same force powers as the player. They should have the same powerful equipment as the player. The flaw is very much in the game; not the rules. I didn't even bother to truly learn about the different sabre stances as I never felt the need. Even after finishing the game; I couldn't tell you the difference between them. That's one new fetaure that could have been cool that was absolutely wasted.
  20. The ending was like the rest of the game - a mixed bag. The writing was sometimes good; sometimes poor. It didn't flow really well. I mean what was the point of forcing us to play the droid ball or Mira on the final planet other than to extend gameplay for an extra 5 minutes? R00fles!
  21. The battles were easy in this game. The only time I was even remotely challenged was when I forced to play other characters - most noteablet Atton with the 2 assassin dancers and Mira and the walking carpet. Otherwise, it was a walk in the park.
  22. The game is not like PST. The story is completely different than PST. Some of the writing echoes PST. Then again, some of the writing echoes DS.
  23. "he is a neutralist like Kreia was..." Kreia is many things. She is not neutral, however. As for the planets, way too many. There'll probably only be about 4-8 of them max.
  24. The ending wasn't too bad. There are much more things in the game that are stupid to worry about. The biggest weaknesses of the ending is the stupid crap with the two droid balls and Mira.
  25. Lucas is one of the best film makers ever. Period. People seem to forget that he has final decision on everything. People may have given their opinion on certain things; but everything goes through him. The buck stops with Lucas. The good, the bad, and the ugly are his call. Only scum would blame everything back with Lucas' films on him; but then turn around and give him none of the credit for the good. What I find hialrious is that people bash the newer SW movies yet you'll all go seem them like little lemmings. Espicially since the enwer movies are just as good as the older ones.
