  1. I beg to differ. There's never a bad time to buy NWN1. How cna it be? It's the best game. Vampire: Bloodlines is also another good (if you can handle the crappy combat) game to check out. Avoid Oblivion at all cost unless you want to play another large but empty game that honours its predecessors.
  2. So... a 'frenzied berserker' is an enemy boss you fight one on one? Cool beans.
  3. *sigh* Let's go over this thread again, shall we? "If that's true, then it would be much more productive if he mentioned that when he complains about games sold strictly online. Otherwise he really isn't adding anything to the topic. By telling his story, he's helping us make informed decisions. That's what I see as the best thing about forums." I wrote: "I wanted to post in this thread because the game looks great, and people buy games based on my seal of approval ('cause I'm that darn good) so I wanted to help the VDMeister out." and, "However, I also feel people should realize that this game can't be bought in stores as they have the right to know that." That's why I posted in this thread, and why I bothered to mention my Purchase Rule tm at all.. Geez.. people. READ. P.S. Again, this is about TAOD. Not TBONB. Thank you.
  4. Why are they're moving baseball/softball from the Olympics? That's just dumb. As for gaming as a Big O Sport... hmmm... hmmm.. that's all I gotta say.
  5. Um.. I do. It certainly has the potential to be; but let's play it first before confirming it. Raven: Since almost all my posts are about that issue, I'm sure a quick seatrch will give you the answer you seek.
  6. "Almost." Right. 8901 (counting this one) posts, and 'almost' all fo them are aboiut me not buying game son line. R00fles! Anwyays, stop making thsi thread about me. It's about AOD. I am unimportant.
  7. Every post? Surely your exaggerate. I wanted to post in this thread because the game looks great, and people buy games based on my seal of approval ('cause I'm that darn good) so I wanted to help the VDMeister out. However, Ia lso feel people shoudl realzie that this game cna't be bought in stores as they have the right to know that. Game over. Again. Geez. P.S. the game will have great role-playing. Period.
  8. Irrelevant. Don't waste your time. The game looks great. I don't buy games on line currently. Maybe in the future; but now. Period. I don't need to explain my reasons to you. Game over.
  9. Looks great. Too bad there aren't no plans to bring it to stores!!! Otherwise, I'd scoop it up with ease.
  10. "Thinking about choices, 'Deus Ex' is still the only game that comes to my mind where you can really choose how to do a mission. Why is that? Is it too difficult for a designer to think of more than one solution to a problem? Or is it the players who prefer linear games? I wish I knew why more people didn't offer players DX-like choice. It certainly is hard to pull off. And as well as DX sold, you could make an argument that players are just as happy with more linear games. Guess I'm going to have to keep plugging away and hope the world follows!" Whatever.
  11. Dragon types have different looking features. They share similiarities; but are not the same. In the end, it's not THAT big of a deal; just dissapointing.
  12. New dev Diary: http://nwn2forums.bioware.com/forums/viewt...483390&forum=95 Red dragon looks awesome! Only twod ragons it seems though (red and green). That's really dissapointed - kida limits module makers for sure. Combat looks much better than earlier videos, and over the video is sweet looking. Great stuff with only one 'negative'.
  13. "I can't believe nobody asked about permadeath..." Who says nobody did? For the record, I did, but it was passed on. No biggy.
  14. "I am really looking forward to that feature as it was absent from NWN1." Actually, I believe, if you play on easy or normal in NWN1, you get max hit points automatically. Can't say for sure as I always play on hardcore... I'm sure NWN2 will, at minimum, offer that.
  15. It's not overused. It's the best D&D setting, and people still want to play it so it's far from overused. Overused means it's been used too much. I beg to differ. It hasn't been used enough - epsicially since there is large parts of the Realms still rather untouched. There's more to the Realms than just the area between Icewind Dale, and The Sword Coast.
  16. Some good stuff being said, and it's not all that dififcult to figure out.... unless you are slow like me... "
  17. NWC tried to trick me. (and everyone else).... The link doesn't lead to the official chat; but you have to enter another chat room. Hehe. :D
  18. "revolutionary gameplay of the Wii" Exactly how is it revolutionary? People keep saying this, and I'm still not buying it.
  19. Sounds good; but it's best to wait until the Atari situation sorts itself out espicially since that's kinda out of even obsidian's hand. I don't think many doubt Obsidian's intentions. I don't; but Atari's standing is on one leg currently. I'll wait 'til nNW2 comes out, enjoy the OC, and go from there.
  20. How is it trolling to guess on why you hate the Witcher too much? And, oh, saying one positive thing doesn't chnage this. I can say positive things about the Elder Scroll games as well... doens't mean I like them. The fact of the matter is, you bash the Witcher seemingly just because you can. It seems... so personal. Not saying it is; but that's what it looks like. Anyways, on topic, The Witcher looks like great fun! P.S. i didn't know 29 was old... WOWSERS!
  21. Slavery is wrong, and is outlawed in all civilized countries.
  22. I liked both Deep impact, and Armageddon; but for different reasons. Overall, I'd give Armageddon the edge because it felt more epic and since both dealt with 'end of the world' type scenarios; epic is the feeling the movies should go for, imo.
  23. "I thought Infogrammes was Atari. Same company, different name." Infogrames is 'just' the majority stakeholder of Atari. They have 51% to be exact which is why the have ultimate power.
  24. The EULA isn't law. Illegal contracts would not be passable in court. Soemthing like this would likely never stand up in court.
  25. WOW! Did SS apply to work for the Wicther devs and he was turned down? He sure seesm to have some sort of vendetta against them? It's like he takes people praising The Witchers as some sort of personal attack. WOWSIES!
