'Dragon Age: Spiritual successor to Baldur's Gate? Yes please." Spiritual successor to ALL their games.

"Bethesda is very good at making fairly enjoyable games despite terrible design decisions." ES series sucks. Bethesda si eaisly the worst successful game developer ever. Espicially in terms of RPGs. At best, FO3 will be okayish; but I doubt it. Thankfully, I was smart enough to avoid Oblivion altogether due to past horrible experiences with Bethesda games. I'm just worried I'll get suckered into giving FO3 a chance simply because of the name. Fo screens look nice; but that's not what it needs.

I warned people about this. This was all about Bettman, and co flexing their msucles. Just like the fact he's trying to DESTROY the Rangers by moving them from MSG. Jerkoff. And, yup, max salary for a NHL player is now 11.34 mil. Kinda funny that pre lockout (just 4 years ago), Jagr had the biggets contract at what? 9-10 mil? HAHAHA! Tools. Only tools supported the lockout, and that is why. An entire wasted year for NOTHING.

I like Irenicus' Dunegon myself as it is one of the best dunegons in any game. That said, I think people dislike it because after you play it once, you know that Athkatla opens up afterwards, and people want the freedom that brings...

"Who are the people watching these things?!" Me. Yeha, these movies are stupid; but that's cool. Soemtimes you need stupid things to laugh at. It's why I come to the Obsidian boards, afterall. Two funnys cenes there - iron man and Sex in the City stuff. Iron man b/c I think the fanboys have overrated that movie big time from all I have seen, and SitC just because. The Hannah Montanah stuff failed though.

On top of that, you tend to only meet bears and stuff if you venture off the road. You take a risk when you explore off the beaten path... Afterall, that bear is in its woods... just avoid them like you would in real life. Just be thankful that in fantasy games you can actually go toe to toe with a bear without a gun.

"Underpowered because a level 1 character has like a 40% chance of missing a blow on a stationary dead badger." D&D doesn't work that way.... First of, anything stationary is automatic hit, and a badger is dead so irrelevant. Auto hit (for no reason except L0LS).
-
"first two levels are so boring and underpowered" 1. Boring is opinion, and hence irrelevant. 2. Underpowered simply isn't true. Underpowered compared to what? Enemies you face? Only a problem if your DM forces you to fight ogres at level 1. Underpowered compared to fellow PCs? Hope not as that be illogical. Underpowered compared to level 3s? I hope so since level 1 should be lower powered than level 3. HAHA! D&D is awesome NO MATTER THE LEVEL.

"It boogles the mind. It's like you've got people trying to defend their 'lifestyle choice' of being fat. It's not a lifestyle choice; homosexuality is a lifestyle choice. Being fat is a stupidity choice similar to shooting up on cocaine." Yo, you cna be pro fast food and still not be 'YAY! FAT LIFESTYLE!" I love my McD's and other fast foods; but I would never 'choose' being fat as a 'lifestyle', either. Tsk, tsk.

I don't agree with everything he says; but he is funny and highly entertaining. Carlin is also obviously a smart man even if he can sometimes talk aout of both sides of his mouth "Amerika is the best country in the world, and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else" and "Amerika is POO!" Still, a cool dude with attitude. P.S. I love him simply because he puts enviromental hippies in their place. Save endangered species!?! No, I think not. LET THEM DIE!!!

"Bhaalspawn saga was over" It doens't have to be. there's tons of ways to continue the Bhaalspawn Saga. Just have to use imagination, and last i checked that's what fantasy is all about.

I eat it once, and awhile as I mix up my fastfood. But, it tastes yummy, is cheap, and is is healthy enough to meet my needs.
-
"Dear god you're retarded." Mods?
-
Oh, no doubt, I'd probably be healthier. No doubt. But, it's ok. My goal isn't to win a sporting event so I'm fine being healthy yet not in great physical compeitition type shape.
-
"Of course this doesn't mean you haven't had need or should've gone to hospital." Of course, I also pay my taxes which also supports said hospitals so it's not it's supporting me... i'm supporting it. "See Volourn's "HEALTHY JUNKFOOD" part for quick reference" It's called 'tongue in cheek'. Of course, I know junk food isn't healthy. I mean, LOL, that's why it's called junk food. I just don't care. Let me it eat. My body cna handle it. I don't need to hear the whining about the evils of junk food. I have no doubt I have one of the unhealthiest diets around yet I'm one of the healthiest people I know depsite being rather skinny (according to the silly fat index charts). Just let me eat what i want. And, you can eat what you want without me bothering you.
-
"But it is statistical fact that junkfood fattens people" It's a statistical fact that it fattens some people. Not all. Nice try, though. And, lol, McDonald's doesnb't have to 'lobby' anyone to be successful. They're successful cause they sell what people want to buy. In fact, it's the lobbyists who have forced these palces to chnage their menus to be 'more helathy'. Question: If you want to eat healthy why are you going to a fast food joint? Seriously. If i want greasy fries, let me have greasy fries. I'm not hurting anyone. And, no, don't claim that I put undue stress on health industries 'cause the last time I've been to the hospital was when I was a kiddie. Super Size Me is a myth because it proves soemthing on the basis that nobody eats McD to the extreme that he does in the movie. Nobody just eats McD'S, and just the fattest foods available eitehr. That's why it's flawed.
-
Thanks! It was easy to do because it was an absolute myth to begin with. besdies, I'm evdience that junk food itself doens';t make you fat. I know. I eat a lot of junk food/take out; and I'm anything *but* fat. Nor am I anywhere near as active as I used to be. It's call metabolism. Mine works in overdrive. L0L LONG LIVE MCDONALD'S AND IT'S TASTY AND HEALTHY FOOD!!!
-
http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/capress/080620/...mcdonald_s_diet McDonald's is awesome! LONG LIVE McDonald's!! See, that is what happens when people believe a one dimensional biased fom the get go 'experiment'. They believe in falsehoods. Bottom line is that McDonald's doesn't make people fat. People making poor chocies makes people's fat.

Gary Bettman needs to be fired! He';s trying to move the Rangers away from MSG!!!

So are you going to buy Mass Effect PC ?
Volourn replied to Kaftan Barlast's topic in Computer and Console
ME is an Action RPG. It fits that 'new age' genre to a tee much like JE, and BL do as opposed to games like Diablo that try to pretend to be Action RPGs simply based on the fact they have levels and character generation/advancement. -
Girl Commits Suicide Over Internet Prank

"Have you ever raised a child to the age of 13-14?" No; buut irrelevant. I've done my share of wathcing young children, and do quite a good job of it. Thanks. " A child that young has a brain that is not fully cooked yet, and vulnerabilities that cannot possibly be a match for an adult on a mission of personal destruction. Would you blame a 6-year-old for her own death if an adult commanded that she stand in the middle of the freeway? Children are not simply small adults." 6 year olds are not teens. Rather poor comparison. Try again. " They are incomplete, mentally incapable of competing with an adult mind, and not able to properly evaluate the consequence of their actions. Taking the side of a malicious adult bully who knew this child and her emotional fralities, then took advantage of that knowledge to totally destroy her self-esteem and her reputation among her peers, the most important social group in a child of this age, is spiteful and ignorant, in my opinion." She's not a baby. She's a teen. I was a teen once. So were you. Teens - most of 'em , anywyas - are not like you describe. This teen's main problem seemed to be due to alck of parental awareness. Afterall, how do you expect this woman to know this girl was suicidal if her very own parents were apparantly not or at least they didn't precautions? Besdies, many adults are fragile. It's not like teens are the only people who commit suicide, afterall. "This woman cannot be rewarded for this despicable behavior." LMAO Talk about making up crap. I never said any such thing. Total insulting garbage. Rewrad this woman? LMAO Sayiong this woman shouldn't be charged does NOt equal 'rewarding' her. " You act as if emotional torture by an adult toward a child is simply an okay right of passage. It isn't." Don't tell me how I'm a ting. Never did I say what the woman did was 'acceptable'. But, hey, keep making stuff up about other sif it makes you feel morally 'superior'. -

"But they really need to stop with this "the ancient race who created everything" schtick they've been using IN EVERY SINGLE GAME THEYVE EVER MADE." Lies never help one's point. -

Civil court is anything about civility. It's about greed. And, nobody can be 'made' to commit suicide. Kinda ruins the only defintion of suicide, imo. At best, I think the guilty person shoudl be charged with harassment. "But if you throw a lit match at them, then you're the bastard who set them on fire." Well, yeah, because by throwing a lit match on them you are attempting to physically harm them. Taunting/teasing is not the same thing. -
Dinosaurs are awesome. Awesome.
