Pure Pazaak
I've downloaded this but all the techie stuff about installing if it doesn't go smoothly scares me. And @ fingolfin92 - I imagine a thread in this forum or the Computer/Console forum for meeting other pazaak gamers would probably work.

They do look a bit like arteries...

To what music are you listening right now?
Ailein Duinn, Capercaillie. I think I need to buy some new CD's again...
-
For those of you that use Windows...
Ahhh..glad I'm not the only one scratching my head about that. The article is a year old, too, which seems odd if it's just getting around as common 'news' now...? Edit - ahh...I looked again...maybe that site just forgot it was a new year...

What should I buy?
I must admit that's one argument for consoles...the renting.

What should I buy?
Haven't played either but from everything I hear, Halo2. If you haven't played it yet, I say Dungeon Keeper2. Teehee.

KOTOR is just too easy...
The smilies here are so cute. I do like combat if it's well done...or funny, ala Majesty...in Kotor, it was easy, but I did like the animations and sounds, perhaps overmuch heh, so that made up for it a bit.

T.O.M.B.S, vol 3
I liked that delay too..an edit delay of a few minutes at least is nice, for catching those typos.

KOTOR is just too easy...
Guess I found something else about the game I liked...*cough Atton/Di cough*...combat has never been the main thing for me anyway. Myst was a great game in its day.

Environment
Would those be house boilers or something else. Cause the water heaters I've always seen in houses are always on...well...kind of...they kick on at regular intervals and after you've used a lot of hot water, to keep the tank water at a certain temperature. edit - oh...ok...well I guess it's another US conspiracy then

KOTOR is just too easy...
I was referring to that comment, Hades. And yes, the too-easy combat was disappointing. heh

That's a point. It'd be nice if they could invent somethng that heats water superfast so you didn't need this giant tank of heated water sitting in your garage all day. Then again, we're all just spoiled by hot showers. Jumping into an icy lake with a bar of soap is the manly solution.

Movies you've seen lately
The Professional...love that one. Sin City...that was interesting. Not exactly great, but interesting.

KOTOR is just too easy...
I think some would disagree that the story of K1 sucks, but yeah, the combat in both is easy, unless you're a total novice to game-playing, perhaps. There are ways to make it harder (even close to impossible) but that involves cheating using the editor so...if you're not liking the game for other reasons than the combat, I'd go play something else.

I need a little tech help!
Don't know about Lucius but that wasn't my problem. Not every weird pc symptom is virus/worm based. That's an interesting bit of information tho...the pages don't really descibe what it does very well (to me), however. Anyway...yeah...the internet is a dangerous place, haha.

I need a little tech help!
Firefox can run slower than IE on some systems, particularly older ones - as always, just depends. I don't use IE for browsing, but I do still use it for other things on occasion.

What Games Do you Want To See For Xbox360?
I'm not buying one, so I'll go with the 'none' answer too. Although I don't have the antipathy towards it as some here seem to. heheh Except... ....that made me laugh. So true.

KotoR 3: Ideas and Suggestions
I'd like a game where your main method of locomotion wasn't always your feet. Some landspeeders would be nice...where you actually rode in/controlled them, not just clicking on something and then going to a black loading screen...One thing I liked about Sacred was riding a horse all over the place. Riding (and fighting while on the horse) had it's control/techie problems, but it was pleasant to do something besides run run run everywhere. WoW's beast riding transport system is fun too, tho it certainly didn't alleviate the running much in that game. Meh.. And yes, I know it has nothing to do with story or anything. And in terms of Kotor you'd have to enlarge the landscape/terrains a lot for it to be worth doing, which I doubt very much they'd bother to do. But I'd still like it, if done well.

Environment
They don't burn and slash forests very often. However they use a lot of pesticides. That's what I meant by poverty vs. non-poverty. To (many) of them it's survival because they lack modernization etc. One of the things that disappointed me when I bought my Subaru Legacy was the gas mileage. It's only about 20mpg in the city and 26mpg on the freeway. I was expecting a little more than that. I guess that's what I get for buying something with 'GT' in the title, even if it is a small wagon. haha. I try to be environmentally aware but I do my share of 'bad things', like anyone else. I'm particularly bad about using paper - even if I do recycle it when possible. My older sister is the obsessive crusader in my family. <_< And that I've bored everyone with my posts in this thread, back to our regular scheduled programing... edit - too many hard returns...

Very VERY strange glitch
Did you just buy the game? If so, maybe it's faulty and you could try to exchange it.

I need a little tech help!
You could try re-installing your browser. Once IE stopped letting me 'view source' of a website...it was exactly like that, where I'd click and it would do nothing at all. I never figured out why...it seemed to happen out of the blue for no reason etc...I just reinstalled IE and it went away.

It's as good a place as any, CoF. :D First car? Man...I remember my 1st car. Fun, until it got smooshed.

T.O.M.B.S, vol 3
I never understood that rule. No wait, I do understand it's an anti-spam/learn to edit measure but doing it on occasion...nothing to be guilty for, nope.

Environment
Calm down, I don't think anyone here was claiming to be an environmental saint. But there are long-term issues that could be lessened or alleviated or prevented - many of those things are political in nature and/or poverty vs. non-poverty oriented that can really only be dealt with by the "common man" by voting, unless you want to join the Corps or live in the jungle with apes, as a few brave & dedicated souls have done over the years. And, of course, the truth is that the planet itself will survive whatever we do - humans may not, but that's what we're really complaining about when we complain about environment, isn't it? The human-comfort/pleasure/survival aspect to the topic. As to your indignant list: No on the first half, because there is almost no such thing where I live. If I lived in San Fran, there's BART and lots of bus routes to close by shopping etc., but where we are....nope. Typical US suburbia where homes are clustered together to the point where it's miles to the nearest clothing store. I do, however, drive my car very little - only when neccesary, I don't joy-ride in it. My car is 7 years old and it has 25,000 miles on it, to give you the idea. I recycyle everything that's recycable until the giant bin the city gives me is full. Yes to the lights/TV, no the computer. I also keep the thermostat at 55-65F even when it's very cold outside. I just wear more clothes. Me personally, I only use hot water when I take a shower, and that's once a day. There is, however, washing dishes and clothes. Which is probably every other day. No, but I recycle those plastic bags and I insist they do not bag stuff that doesn't need to be bagged, like toilet paper.. It's not available here, we don't own our house, and it'd be pretty expensive to try and set it up. If I owned this house, yes, I would.

What antialiasing is and why its so important
Hmm....thanks. I'm not sure I quite understand completely but it's more than I knew before. Doesn't sound like I need it on then...I don't think I ever get FPS beyond my refresh rate except in menu screens.
