  1. I can't decide. <-- imp smokin' or vamp walkin'
  2. That's good to know/keep in mind, thanks. First thing I noticed was the amount of cussin'. I swear a lot myself, in speech, but the show seems a bit excessive. It's repetitive and distracting because it feels like forced shock-value that doesn't work. Yeah...that's why we wait and buy most series on DVD (or rent them) instead of watching them every week.
  3. I have that picture. I made an avatar out of it. :D
  4. I'm not sure if this is the same issue or not, but this article says that Microsoft Issues Out-of-Cycle Patch for Critical IE Flaw The article also mentions an exploit for PowerPoint is now being reported by McAfee.
  5. I consider the graphic designs in games to be artistic (sometimes, heh). The game design itself, I consider more akin to the art of, say, writing fiction. The thing about games, to me, is that they're really composed of more than one kind of 'art' - taken as a whole, I would consider games to be entertainment art (acting, they say, is an art, and that's for entertainment purposes)...which to me is quite different from the old-style 'classic' art defintions of Monet paintings and giant statues of David, or whatnot.
  6. ) Most avatars I have are either: widely known ones that I collect from various forums/sites and thus not worth putting up since everyone would likely know them already, or ones I crop myself, which usually end up being of cute animals.
  7. And then there was the ZUG website experiment: http://www.zug.com/pranks/credit/
  8. Using a camera whilst driving? Yes, very. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Meh....if using auto-focus/auto-exposure and just pointing it in the general direction and clicking, no worse than drinking coffee or hunting for/changing music CD's.
  9. It doesn't matter, as long as you write it (pretty much) the same every time so it's recognizably 'yours.' People who like their sigs to be a certain way are just being...ah...old school or something. My father, since he was disabled, wrote his signature with a pen in his mouth and used only his first and last initials, since the whole name was too much effort. No one cared, including banks and such. A sig is a sig. My sig has become more and more sloppy as time goes on; after endless check-writing, it gets tedious making it pretty, so I take my cue from doctors; unlegible scribbles are cool.
  10. A lot of the review sites have sample pictures that aren't macro sorts (usually portrait, indoor, scenic) and they're getting so good with the non-SLR digital cameras in a general way that I've been curious. Not going to go run out and buy one myself just to compare w/the SLR tho, so thanks for that. Actually not too shabby considering. And I know what a SLR is, I have one, although mine's only 8mp. The digital SLR's for $800-1600 are pretty decent. I still want those $8,000-12,000+ 'pro' lines someday tho. Har. Liberty statue on the right: Cropped, @ 50% original size 4 sec. exposure f/16 100ISO Liberty statue on the left: Cropped, @ 75% original size 1 sec. exposure f/8 400ISO Both crappy indoor lighting, no flash.
  11. Yup...it was nice of them to give you the 'classic' skin. I can't stand the XP look.
  12. I've never tried any of those fixes they have, heh.
  13. It's a bug, if it's the one I'm thinking of, the solution is to re-load a previous save and when you enter the academy, choose a different response than you did before, when Handmaiden asks you to stand down. Unless there's a mod fix for it, which is always a possiblity..
  14. It's just a buggy spot, that force field. Keep trying, re-load, re-bash, run away from it and run back, it'll go eventually.
  15. 1st season, disc 1 of Deadwood. It's the first time I've ever seen the show. I like the lead guy and I like the Western 'style' it uses; not sure I like the show, yet.
  16. I like driving in the rain a lot and I really like this simple pic, so I'm using it again.

  18. It's really hard to work w/something that small. <_<
  19. I can fall asleep sitting on the floor behind the passenger seat of an automobile. It helps to be small.
