  1. No....it was Star Trek. I think this was around the time my cousin-in-law and I went to a convention, because P. Stewart was the speaker and she was madly in love with him...the only one I ever attended... Edit...I have the above show on tape somewhere...recorded off TV the day they aired it, not bought....omg I was a ST nut once.
  2. Red tights, no less. Gah. Gotta love the colors, costumes and sets of ST! But wait...I swear it wasn't that long ago they were celebrating the 25th anniversary....
  3. Are we talking skills or just personality? HK is pretty funny, but I prefer Atton as the blaster wingman, if I have one at all.
  4. omg, it takes a minute or two to become hilarious, but once it does, it's awesome.
  5. I think Darque had a wise point. I feel it's very important to create a place that fosters a positive and constructive atmosphere, not only for long-timers and new members, but for those non-members who may be reading the forum and considering whether or not it's a community they'd wish to join. This isn't a 'private' forum and imo it should strive to potentially be a place for everyone, even those of relatively thin-skin.
  6. While I have not played the game in question, it would appear not... *doodles in the sandbox*
  7. The Sentinel - ok, not great, and Keifer is stuck in '24' mode.
  8. Hey, if popular youtubers can meet their match through their v-blogs, who knows! Think positive! "
  9. Someday I'll buy that ninja outfit and the long black trenchcoat... ... is woodtone a color? I love redwood or other darker wood colors, too.
  10. Are you saying single-wielding sucks or that a double-saber does more damage than two singles? If the latter, it didn't seem that way to me, but I never really number-crunched this game.
  11. If my memory serves, the first time I also stated I was married and pixie still paired me with some people. I view these threads as mostly for getting to know other forumers a bit more, anyway.
  12. Heh, too many decisions in games always makes my head hurt. But it does make a game feel a bit more immersive sometimes.
  13. Since I'm not single, no PM from me, but I'll answer the questions. I did before, but that was a while ago. :D 1. 37 (almost 38...argh) 2. dark and neutral colors like grey, blue, black 3. photography or any visual format, reflective thought, procrastination 4. a bit of everything, including 80's music and orchestra/instrumental/choir 5. sci-fi/fantasy and action, or anything with great cinematography 6. strategy, city builders, RPG/action RPG 7. rationality, sharp/dry wit, discretion 8. intolerance (applies to myself as well) 9. I'm not downright negative but am very cynical, with an occasional positive bent
  14. Kisses for everyone! .... PPR is an acquaintance of mine from elsewhere. Unless he causes any trouble, of course. Then I don't know him. "
  15. Salutations.
  16. I'm pleased to see RTC2 so high up on that list. It's also interesting to see a list based on something other than one reviewers opinion. The Sims as #1...not surprised...
  17. I don't think I used Goto enough to tell how useful he is in a battle if you tried to build him up to a high potential. But when I did try to use him, his round bulky profile really annoyed me during gameplay. I was never a stealthy Exile so that advantage wasn't important to me. I did use T3, and if you equipped him with some decent blasters he was decent backup support. Nothing special tho. Mostly, he was 'cute.' Not to mention, very funny when he glitched.
  18. I never used Di's workbench feature, actually. But I still like him a lot. He gets no love here tho. :D
  19. Of the recently featured, I prefer the "Game Over" one. I think I'm one of the few who isn't really that impressed with the '1 pic a day' videos. I've seen several on that concept. It's a cool idea, but it's too easily faked, and thus I'm left feeling kinda hohum; just reminds me of the early movie face-morphing days, except w/out a drastic change to the actual face. I think Peter Gabriel had a vid that had bits that looked a lot like these, heh. And yeah, it'd be more interesting if they moved around more instead of feeling like they had to keep the face in a stationary position.
  20. For the less 'net savvy, no, I didn't make it.
  21. I like DS better, but I tend to go lightside more often simply because it was easier, and because Atton looks terrible DS... :D
  22. He went a bit overboard on the blue-side of the grey color balance in many of those shots, or whatever you want to call it, imo. But yeah, cleaning up the picture to make colors more vibrant etc. I don't typically mind. Old film/negative starts to degrade, spiffing it up and preserving it etc. is par for the course. It's just the added footage, changing of footage, and all of that I can't stand.
  23. Kind of a toss up between Obi-Wan and Han for me.
  24. Coming home from a really long drive-till-you-drop car-trip, we rented Brick to watch while lying exhausted on the couch. It was one of those kinda weird concept movies that looked like it was made by a bunch of young independant film makers. Not very good, but had some moments. Nip/Tuck season3 was much more entertaining.
  25. The link to their site's progress reports are here, in case you missed it. Think the question has been answered and anything else on the topic of the TSL can go in the sticky thread up top.
