You could use the KSE editor to raise the experience level of a brand new character and then run through peragus trying to kill the super-droids with your puny vibrobalde and T3's starting gunnery. I'm serious. I tried that once, I can't remember my reasoning for it - but since the monsters level up with you, when I gave myself and T3 some experience, I had my arse handed to me upon entering/loading a new area. It was pretty funny really. As to mods...I don't know of any of those - there's re-balancing mod/tweak, made by the people doing the Kotor2 Restoration project, but I don't know how much harder that makes it, if at all. Never tried it.

Define everything. Did you turn off shadows completely etc? I find shadows are a big lag inducer for some games. Even if my computer can run with them, it's always better with them off. I'll be curious to see how it does on my system.

Turkey carvers work well for ice cream slicing. :D I'm putting on my sneakers to get ready to go out and buy some food that's tastier than what's in the pantry.

Same here. But some people dont play on PC, so then the console menu cheats may be their only option. There are many 'mods' that aren't big gameplay-changers either...Morrowind and Dungeon Siege was full of those. Tiny little 'mods' that really did nothing but give you lots of money somehow, or gave you a house to put all your stuff in, or made shopkeepers sell potions at an earlier point etc.

I've noticed Alt-Tab doesn't seem to work as well, as often, in many games lately.

lol, no, I didn't notice you were one and the same, sorry. Seems like your information + the older lists give enough of a good idea, tho. What does the gamebox say, for those who have it? Wouldn't that be "official?" Or are you looking for an officially sanctioned cards-supported type of list rather than just min/max system recomendations?

What about a Sempron2400? Atreides was asking about that in Skeeter's, and I couldn't find a great answer since I'm not familiar with AMD. It clocks too slow for that "will your game run NWN2 site" to "pass" it...but will that be reality?

Original Plaza #3 isn't too bad, but I like darker and gray colors better than cream. 1 & 2 were horrid tho - like very pastel/green/cream checkboard bathroom tiles.

Hubby bought that (it was $20), but he has yet to even rip of the shrinkwrap. I haven't either, obviously. If I wasn't playing C4 like an obsessive nut I probably would have. I'll get around to it - I enjoyed most of the other Tombraiders well enough.

If it doesn't bother you, nothing wrong with using some cheats/editors if that's what you enjoy/want to do, for whatever reasons. I like to use them after a while just to be able to mess around with things without having to replay the entire game...number crunching, experimenting, and just plain goofing off, as it were.

These won't mean anything to most people but I had fun making them so... In C4, the 3 default 'plaza-road tiles' are really ugly, IMO. Thanks to this nifty dds convertor I can now make my own tiles and replace them. Yay.

I like threads like these...I'd post something but I don't follow actual recipies, I just start tossing things into a pan. I might be able to make them into something one could follow, but... The most common thing I cook these days is stir fried beef and sometimes fried rice, using various vegies depending on my mood. Freeze the beef and then partially de-thaw for easy thin-slicing. I use my own homemade teriyaki sauce as the base marinade, which is essentially just soy sauce with about 1 part sugar to maybe 3 parts soy sauce - 3/4 cup soy sauce, add sugar to reach 1 cup - and garlic to taste. I used to make a pretty good oven-baked beef stew too, with potatoes and onions carrots and mushrooms but I haven't done it in a long time.

WavePad will split a file into two at a point you select - then you can keep on splitting those segments into two, etc.
