Spending the afternoon playing with some kittens. It makes me feel better and as hubby says, it's hard to resist them when they're little. Such tiny squeaky meows... 'Course not. Which is why I said "not really." But sometimes you wish it could.

Sorry about the mini-rant before...I know the neighbors love their pets/aren't purposely abusive; it just always makes me sad/angry when ppl who can't afford a lot of pets seem intent on having more/do nothing to prevent ending up with a plethora of them. There's actually 4 kittens in the new crop that we've seen. One's all-black - I wonder if Mr. Black would like a mini-me?

Reading about the weeks long/big Yosemite Park fire, which is currently believed to have been started by a hunter's illegal blaze, makes me wonder if perhaps everyone should be required to take/have an (annual) 3 day course certificate of "techniques on how to build a campfire/signal fire, hopefully without burning down the forest," before being allowed a camping/hunting license or entrance into any National Park, or whatever. ...ok, not really...but sometimes I think it for a few seconds.

50/50 - I expected a bit more comedy. Seth Rogan is annoying until near the end. Other than that, an ok film. Saw the trailer/s for the next Thor movie. It looks fun. Also, this:

Now that Mr. Grey isn't in the yard this year's new crop of (3-4 month?) neighbor kittens have taken it over. I didn't realize there were new ones until yesterday, actually (hubs said they liked sleeping on the fence). Today I went to look at them closer, and their condition upsets me. One seems to have fluid-sounding breathing and sick looking eyes, the other has this giant cyst/swollen tumor or something under the skin on one side of his face - both are completely encrusted with flea poops under their fur. They're both otherwise kitten-like (energy, playful) but man...take care of your freakin' cats. Or better, get the older ones spayed so you stop having sickly kittens every year. #!@$@## I just want to kidnap them and take care of them myself, if a vet said they had nothing contagious.

Store run to prep for the Red Sox/Yankees series. Hubby's gonna have to do without his BL2 most afternoons/evenings, until the WS is over.

Got my pig companion, pig mount, water balloon gun thingie, enough Sunite pants and headgear and 1 of the mounts for all my alts...will soon have my boar mount for my main too, + Sunite Garb. ...takes my lvl 60 DC 30 minutes to get 400-500 petals via picking flowers, which I do once or twice a day. Still too much grind. If I want more pig companions or shirts I'll spend AD. They'll get cheaper...

I did, but it's not funny. And doesn't say if that's what you actually receive when pickpocketing, either. Could just be a lore scroll one finds on a table for all I know.

I used to care about those types of things, just like I used to care more about "awesome sound." I still do to a degree...I just care about comfort/convenience more. ...trying to watch the Evil Dead remake. It's prettier than the original, but so far (30 minutes in) I'm not impressed.

I liked (but not quite loved) Pitch Black a lot. I hated Chronicles of Riddick. The ads for the new Riddick make it seem more like the first, so my curiosity is slightly aroused. As per usual tho, I'll wait for VoD. ...so few films get me to the theater anymore, even films I know I'd probably like. Being in my living room/being able to pause without missing anything trumps giant screen.

The Festival garb looks best on the female chrs, imo. The male chrs. look like they're wearing 70's lounge pj's or something. I wonder what new items they're adding at the mid-point.

I still can't find a bloody pillow that I like and that doesn't have me waking up with a crick in my neck. I became too used to/spoiled by this one large, round, micro-beanbag type pillow I found at random. It lasted for 2+ years and it was perfect for my head/neck and shoulder height (I'm a side-sleeper). My closest is littered with all the pillows I've tried since. Noisy rice husks, memory foam, plain polyester fill. Hate them all. Can't find one like that one, online. Closest are kid animal toy shaped deco pillos. *shakes fists*

Chicken salad sandwich, vanilla yogurt and two white peaches. The white peaches were soooooooo yummy. I wish they were in season all year long.

I don't know what makes me more sad, that SF is dead last, or that the Dodgers are first. Although to be honest, I rooted for the Dodgers for a brief period, because of Orel Hershiser - I loved watching him pitch. ...and yeah if the Ray's can get out of the tailspin, I fear them more than the current Yankees.

Holy awesome stronghold, Batman! ....I was so not expecting this level of development/dimension to the stronghold. I was, for some reason, thinking it'd be "just a house" to put loot in and where party members could rest or something. This sounds fantastic. It gets 4 kitties from me. :cat: :cat:
