Made sausage/vegie fried rice last night, along with a beef roast for sandwiches. So tonight...I'm having beef sandwiches.

26 pounds? Sheesh...I had a tabby once who was about 18 pounds (not fat at all either, slim waisted). And I thought that was a hefty weight for a cat.

We'll probably rent Pacific Rim sometime this weekend. I'm not expecting much, but I'm in the mood for loud mindless action and I'm curious.

I don't think you can change gender...just facial/body appearance. But I don't want my main to be male, so it's moot. And the pants are BoP so I'd have to grind all over again with the one male chr. I have, who's mostly a Leadership alt. Pah.

BL2 - I want one lvl 72 of each chr. class. Then I considered that I'd have to replay the game/all DLC's 3 or 4 times per chr. With 1 lvl63 siren and 1 lvl 50 Commando (no one else is above 25 or so), that still = 15+ times. Plus leveling past 60 goes pretty slow. At the rate I play, that would take me years. So I downloaded that gibbed editor instead. No clue how to use it to tick off the quests and stuff, but I can make them 72, give them lvl60ish gear, and then run through the content to Ultimate really fast. Much better. I is a big fat cheater.

I wanted some gloriousily silly "golden pantaloons." Instead, I just got gold satin disco pants. I am disappoint. The male version, apparently, is more silly/poofy pantaloonish.

Well that game sucked....for Red Sox fans. It was great for Tigers fans.

Currently have one cat, Mr. Black. I had another, Mr. Grey, but he became ill and passed recently. In the past I've had oodles and oodles of cats over the years (most at one time: 9), so I am a big cat nutter. But I also like dwarf hamsters, squirrels, and bunnies. At some point I'll probably just stick to having a couple dwarf hamsters (vs. a cat), because they're a lot easier/cleaner to take care of. Of course...those are... ...famous last words.

That's baseball for you. I can recall some Beckett games (and many other pitchers of course) where they were superb but couldn't get any run support. Doesn't take away from the pitcher's effort just because the game may not have been won. But I'm still gonna victory dance.

At least Verlander hasn't been completely untouchable. It all boils down to stamina now...who breaks first. Haha. ...Lackey's worked hard and done well this year and I've tried to like him more, but I just can't stand the fellow. He's been a nice comeback story tho, and it'd be great if he could outpitch/outlast Verlander.

Y'know how the Commando and his turret/s seem so awesome soloing in BL2's 1st/2nd difficulty? Not so much in the new Ultimate difficulty. The Siren was so much easier. She has much better crowd control and can still play crazy reckless, while my Commando is doing a lot of slow-paced hiding. That's at lvl 50-52 tho. I'd guess at lvl70+ or whatever, when the Commando can have two double-gun, extra-life slagging turrets, he'd feel a lot stronger again. In Ultimate, right after you kill BoomBoom and you're supposed to get on the big tank gun to blow up some baddies...that doesn't work anymore. The baddies are too strong and the tank gun can barely hurt them, lol. You sit in it slowly firing and all it does is bounce them around from place to place...can't even take off their shields. So you have to get out of the gunseat and fight them on the ground. And they just keep coming and coming....crazy.

I could run out and build a new cutting edge PC if I felt like it ... but my old i7 still runs everything like a champ and there's no peripherals that I care about...except maybe for another external storage/backup HDD. So why bother. In a year or three, perhaps. And I like gadgets, but usually not enough to buy them. They tend to fall into the "that's so cool/neat-o, but I"d never actually use them and they'd just be paperweights" category.

I'm ready for some baseball! Maybe Verlander will do poorly today. I can dream ... more likely, I'll be able to shower and do a store run in the middle innings and not miss anything.

Watched Walking Dead premiere episode tonight. Was underwhelmed. I realize they were setting some things up/chr. building but it was a big yawn...chr. building is fine/I like such, but with this series it's often so much retreading of the same convo "woe is me" points they've been repeating forever already. The very very end of the episode bodes for something more interesting next week, tho. Also
