  1. I always wore the Dark Jedi robes regardless of if I was playing LS or DS. They looked kewl. Comparatively speaking.
  2. Am I Hebbie Jebbie? Ivan seems to have alot of funky pictures. Does anyone else find this disturbing? yes, though I'm pumped for KOTOR 2 and will prolly play it multiple times...it's only a video game.
  3. Look, I don't care about the romances as long it's well-written and serves the story. I don't care if it's with one character or a few. I don't care if she's hot or average looking or whatever because it's...iI don't know...A VIDEO GAME. All I ask is that you don't have me playing Telos 90210 or Korriban Place or some s***t like that.
  4. Isn't that the Sith way? Yes it is but that means they think you didnt kill them because youre such a powerful force user but because you got lucky. So they still think youre a padawan and they have a chance against you. Malak on the star forge says there is whispering about how he assumed the mantle of Sith Lord. That it looked bad he didnt kill you personally. Maybe, for Yuthura and Uthar (Though how did they find out about it? Neither Yuthura or Uthar did), but those 3 outside the Sith Academy? Your character kills them, with the aid of only a few slaves or droids. Think of it this way. If you were those 3 sith. And a Sith padawan that just finished training (to you, Korriban may be the last world the PC does or it could be the first) came out of the temple claiming to have killed Yuthura and Uthar and that they are Darth Revan... would you automatically believe them? Or be skeptical??? But after youve killed half the academy I think they should wise up. I tend to agree with you up to a point. BUT, the three students outside of the academy that challenge you should've sensed that the force was incredibly powerful within you. Irregardless of if they were skeptical or not. In fact, one of the students seemed to know something was up and was very afraid to fight you, if I remember correctly. But that stupid girl challenges you anyway and drags her classmates down with her to their deaths.
  5. Star Wars dabbler in that I love the OT, don't necessarily hate the prequels, though they leave alot to be desired. I've never read any of the novels and haven't owned a Star Wars comic since the Return of the Jedi adaptations in 1983. I LOVE the Old Republic era though. Something about it feels so Classic and gritty.
  6. I would take my lightsaber up against your blaster any day of the week. In fact, I would let you have the first shot. Blasters may look cool, but they are utterly inferior to a highly trained Jedi or Sith with well-honed saber skills. Except that idiot in Attack of the Clones that flew down at Dooku and was shot 7 times by Jango Fett.
  7. Well, today's the day. Anyone planning on actually seeing this film?
  8. Most of these new powers sound like they've been lifted from Jedi Academy. Force Rage is one, Force sight is one, and Force Crush reminds me of Force Grip from JA. It was a DS power that lifted your opponents off the ground and then you could drop them off of cliffs and stuff. It was cool.
  9. Has it even been established the PC will go to any academy in KOTOR 2? From what I heard Kreia finds you very early on in the game and you have a strong bond with her. Besides, hasn't the academy been destroyed? and even the Sith academy was either in chaos (if you killed everyone) or in flux (if you did the doublecross with either Uthar or Yathura). It wouldn't make much since to go there unless the storyline requires it. i.e. you're going there for something specific. plus, I really don't think the devs would want to do the whole academy thing because it's already been done in the first game. i could be wrong, though.
  10. Finally saw it. Man, she's got big lips.
  11. I haven't clicked on that link because I'm at work and I'm scared to. Is it work safe?
  12. "The hero neves dies..." (except for Qui-Gon, I guess) And Optimus Prime.
  13. Bloody hell. Would that I could click on that link and view the info.
  14. I know this is off topic again (in a thread that i started no less), but for the record I haven't owned a Nintendo since the 16 bit Super Nintendo back in the early 90's. And everyone was raving about a 16 bit system. I then got the old Sega Genesis system. I hated it. Then I got that old CDI by Philips. It had a really cool Dragaon's Lair and Space Ace DVD game, which didn't pause every time you made a move. They played like the arcade games. And then I was strictly a PC guy. I never bothered with that Atari Jaguar (is that right?) or that other console whose name I can't remember. It was like CDO or something. Sega and Atari now just make games, but Nintendo is still around. And apparently there's a version of the Gamecube in Japan that we can't get here that is supposed to be incredible. The XBOX is the first console I've bought in years and I love it. I don't own a Gamecube and don't plan on buying one, but they must be doing something right.
  15. I thought i was alone in thinking that name was just lame. I don't know. I mean, it's not horrible, like Dookie or whatever his name was, but....Nihilus?
  16. Very nice! I wish the movies, specifically the prequels could capture that sense of desperation depicted here. This is why I love this era in the Star Wars universe the most. Hey, thanks for the heads-up!
  17. Race change operation? Whoever heard of anything so preposterous? Oh, wait...
  18. Oh, okay. Thanks, Ender for clearing that up. As usual
  19. Ah! So that's where I read it. So, I guess it's not official. But that doesn't mean he/she isn't named Darth Nihilus. Nice find, btw.
  20. Well, where did you read it? I remember someone was running around these boards saying it, but there hasn't been any conformation. PS, I doubt you could rename him, the names not bad. I don't think you can name a bad guy or a Star Wars movie anymore without everyone hating it, apparently. (attack of the clones was dumb tho) I think I did read it in one of the threads here, but I can't remember who said it. I don't suppose that means it's official or anything. And I just don't know 'bout that name. I mean, it's not Darth Jebus stupid, but it's "what's-his-name-again" wierd. But if that's his name, I'm sure I'll get used to it.
  21. I read somewhere that the masked Sith is Darth Nihilus. Is that true? And if it is, can we change it?
