The city they attacked was under rebel control Chemical weapons in Syria are in a way all over the place. There were a number of warehouses that were ransacked. Syrian government and some opposition forces have them. What proof do we have that actually the Syrian government was behind this attack other than it happened in a city under rebel control? With this attack by the US any rebel forces can use simple logic: use chemical weapons on civilians > media will automatically blame Assad > the US will attack our enemy Assad.

ISIS Final Days : Mosul and Raqqa attack imminent
Hildegard replied to BruceVC's topic in Way Off-Topic
Funny how a lot of civilians getting out of Aleppo are saying that was in fact the rebels who were denying them exit out of the city, denying them food and supplies, and basically using them as leverage. -
So here's the man who killed the Russian pilot while parachuting, turns out to be a Turkish citizen, shocked really. http://southfront.org/turkmen-commander-who-admitted-killing-2-russian-pilots-is-turkey-citizen/ http://anfenglish.com/news/turkmen-commander-turns-out-to-be-turkish-nationalist That area in which Turkmen rebels operate is the very region where pretty much all the foreign fighters from Europe come to fight for ISIS. I really hope from all of this that Russia would arm the Kurds to the teeth to fight of the Islamist scum.
-
NATO and the West having double standards? I'm shocked. Anyways, testimony of the rescued pilot: https://www.rt.com/news/323431-saved-pilot-turkish-su24/ Goes without saying that the pilot is lying, like all evil Russians do. It is known.

Neither do I and yet here we are. As I said a little restraint on both sides would not have out of order. @Hildegard - Assuming a straight line path, the flying time is less than a minute - (6 - 8 km / 800 kph) * 3600 secs/hr = 27 - 36 seconds. The claim was that the Russian Su-24 was warned 10 times over a 5 minute interval but that the warnings began prior to the Su-24 crossing Turkish airspace. As in "change course you are about to violate Turkish airspace" which is exactly what you would expect. Again it's a matter of when the warnings were issued and why they were ignored. Of course you're simply free to view the insidious Turks as having schemed and plotted to shoot down a Russian aircraft. If so, I suggest you ask Gifted1 if he can also hook you up with some of that Fantastic Illuminati Mayonaise. Deliberate shooting of a Russian plane by the Turks equals Illuminati conspiracy theories. Hahaha, you're mental. Here's another conspiracy junk for you: https://twitter.com/Breaking911/status/668904110121484288 $2 question, who do you think they targeted? Was it ISIS maybe? The Turks are one of ISIS strongest allies in this fight for years, and that's no Alien - Vatican conspiracy for you. Of course, you won't here that on government filtered propaganda like most of western media. Back to the theme in question, standard protocol in intercepting foreign planes is warning, intercepting and only then hostile action when you don't manage to drive off the plane. Guess we jumped from one to three really fast. And then just in that area the Turkmen rebels were ready for the Russians: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IschF-ihjS0&feature=youtu.be Did you see that video with the dead Russian pilot? Love those 'moderate' rebels in Syria, really nice secularized folks. Hope they lead the new Syria into a better tomorrow with freedom and democracy on top.

This is the picture from the Turkish side where the Su-24 supposedly entered Turkish airspace: The Su-24 was at 6000m altitude with a cruising speed of what, 700-900kph? This gap that he crossed is long approximately 6-8km. Do simple math, how long does that plane need to cross that area? Here's what Turkish-US allies had to say: http://www.todayonline.com/world/turkish-military-says-downed-jet-was-warned-10-times-over-airspace-violation Supposedly the plane was warned for 5 minutes 10 times while in Turkish airspace. So I guess the Su-24 was flying what, 50kph according to the Turks? Hahaha what a joke. What a classic ambush by the Turks. Hope this backfires for those ISIS loving Islamist Turkish ****.

In other news...I love this...The UN General Assembly's human right committee on Thursday adopted a Saudi-drafted resolution condemning Iranian and Russian intervention in Syria. The non-binding resolution, authored by Saudi Arabia and co-sponsored by Qatar and other Arab nations, the United States and other Western powers, was adopted by the 193-nation assembly. http://www.reuters.com/article/2015/11/19/us-mideast-crisis-syria-iran-un-idUSKCN0T834320151119#u71QOp9SuHol7Id5.97 I frikin love the hypocrisy of the very countries pushing this resolution that actually created ISIS, a genocidal organization that devoured two countries. Now condemning the only two countries that actually are fighting ISIS. Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Gulf countries and United States helped the growth of Islamic Jihadist more than any other countries in the world. Shows just how these countries don't give a rats ass about anything but mapping the picture of the world to their benefit and interest. The price doesn't matter at all. PS. Saudi's teaching others about human rights, one of the funniest jokes this month.

The Israeli security is very effective and Hamaass control the main military strategy against Israel...ISIS isn't aligned to Hamas it would be very tough for ISIS to operate in places like Gaza and the West Bank Proper response. I would add as well that they would be foolish to attack someone who is actually their indirect ally in all of this.

Why ISIS never attacks Israel?

Interesting how this info is so much under the radar compared to the miserable 10 French planes that hit targets in Syria. Russia has deployed a bigger concentration of large bomber aircraft than the US has ever done in the last 30 years. Shows you just how the media is the one shaping what's true and what's not. Just like the pathetic air bombing campaign by the US prior to the Russian intervention which was portrayed by the media as large/intensive when in fact it was meaningless. Frikin Western media propaganda machine, their stronger weapon than any military hardware.

Nice job by Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, US and its western allies for providing loads of cash, weapons and equipment for all anti-Assad elements for a long period of time. But nobody in the public doesn't give a single **** how ISIS was created. The world without Saddam, Gadafi and soon Assad is a better world with democracy and freedom of choice. RIP to all the innocent people killed today.
-
You can put any sort of garbage under the umbrella of 'moderate rebels'. It's exactly the same modus operandi of the West and its allies at the start of major conflicts in Syria. Back then everybody were glorified rebels fighting evil Assad and his forces. A few radicals here and there but nothing that western propaganda couldn't bury under the rug. US and Western European countries, via money from governments, organization and individuals from Turkey, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and other countries were unloading equipment, money and arms to the opposition of Assad inside Syria without ever giving a single sincere **** who is actually getting armed and funded. Countries I mentioned earlier are the very ones responsible for the creation of ISIS. They created a monster they couldn't control anymore once it got too big and strong. Another blunder in the US think tank which is often more retarded than intelligent. US airstrikes against ISIS are a frikin joke. In their scope and designated targets. ISIS main funding these days is via Turkey because ISIS sells them oil for prices lower than market prices. They aren't disturbing those trade lines at all. Turkey is an indirect ally of ISIS because they have a common enemies, the Kurds and Assad. That's no conspiracy, just plain facts. Their war efforts, together with US, against ISIS are cosmetic, for public show and therefor ineffective. Not to mention that Saudi Arabia, Qatar and other Sunni countries are all in fact more rooting for ISIS than they want to see them destroyed. All of them just want ISIS to do the dirty job for them. Their Sunni brothers fighting for Islam doing out in the open what they can't so they gave them billions of dollars, equipment and training. I for one am very glad Russia came into the play because they are the only country with the will and intent to destroy and bomb the **** out of ISIS scum. They are going to wipe western backed 'moderate rebels' as well (whatever the **** that means)? I ain't gonna shed one tear for the deaths of those who are just instruments in the hands of the US for their national building plans to suit their geopolitical and economic plans. There is a sighting of counter balance to US/British hegemony in the ME in the form of Syria, Iran, Russia and China. I really hope that alliance last and grows stronger. Cheers

11 people killed at a French satirical Newspaper
Hildegard replied to Meshugger's topic in Way Off-Topic
I didn't make a mistake because you missed my point. I was only trying to point out the hypocrisy behind the whole Freedom of speech which is everyone's mouth these days. It's freedom of speech when you draw cartoons of Mohammed but when you draw cartoons of an orthodox Hebrew it's antisemitism. -

You can write negative about the Muslim but it's a whole other issue when you make cartoons mocking Jews http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=2vinmsk&s=8#.VLhECCvF8jk http://anonhq.com/charlie-hebdo-fired-anti-semitic-cartoonist-ridiculing-judaism-2009/ -
What a big target. Reminds me of WW1 tanks.
-
Pilots couldn't see the missiles coming. If Sa-11 or S-300 was used, the missile takes up to 40 seconds to cover a 10 000 meters distance, it's too fast. Black box is just gonna confirm taking damage at a certain point. It's not gonna tell where the missile came from or any such data that could be used as a smoking gun. EDIT - this situation with the Boeing, the whole Ukraine conflict is so hard to put together even approximately correct from all the propaganda shouting from both sides.

Will someone create a World Cup thread, already?

Does anyone know why the Russian national team jersey is the color of cherry? Any historic reference whatsoever or just didn't want them bright red? http://www.footballwood.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/Russia-New-Jersey.jpg -
Hahahahaha, good one.

Congratulations to England for their historic point!

The Iraq war was a disgrace, but sometimes we forget just how much
Hildegard replied to Humodour's topic in Way Off-Topic
So ISIS soldiers have our newest grenade launchers that even our own military doesn't have as standard issue. And from our port of Rijeka unmarked containers and containers of suspected weapons from all over Europe went to Syria. Guess western connections and Saudi money works wonders. Back Iran against their own people, backfires. Back Saddam against Iran and by doing so help him develop WMDs, backfires. Creating Al Qaida to fight the Soviets, backfires. Backing ISIS among other groups, backfires. I really wonder what will backfire next. I guess Egypt when some radical lunatics take over and grab all those US and Western weapons under their control. But on the other hand I can hardly believe so many blunders happening one after the other, guess some just want chaos and conflict in this part of the world. -

Hildegard replied to Humodour's topic in Way Off-Topic
Black humor with ISIS backfiring against Western interests. Same thing happening again and again with them being funded, armed and payed by the West, Turkey and especially Saudi Arabia in the conflict against Assad. -
Just loved it how the Dutch destroyed Spain. First penalty was a farce by that disgusting Costa, like they don't have enough of those, now they import them from Brazil also. But the referees are awful. First three games made me wanna vomit.
-
As some of you know, I'm Croatian. I wouldn't be pissed as nearly as much if Brazil scored 9 clean goals like I'm at the current moment. The Japanese referee, and FIFA in general, will root for Brasil and I don't doubt we will see more of this in favor of the home team because Brasil must by all means necessary advance further. Frikin disgrace if you ask me. Frikin shame that the turning point of this game was a blunt mistake. Feel so sorry for our players. But with all the Fair Play bull**** from FIFA, big and small actors will never have the same treatment, not in football, not in pretty much anything.
