So basically then if a murder is done by a democratically elected government it's less of a murder then committed by some organization or individual. Sounds to me like a convinient explanation of those who see government sanctioned assassination as something acceptable. But then again, most of the so called enlightened free world thinks so, or they just willingly turn a blind eye, same thing. And Bin Laden wasn't self-appointed as an leader of a radical Islamic organization, he was financed, trained, equipped by the US who actually created him as such when he was seen useful. When his tactics and rules of war was seen as guerrilla warfare of a freedom fighter when he fought the Soviets. But if a group uses the very same strategy and means against coalition forces in Afghanistan and Iraq today they are in the eyes of the west nothing but terrorist. Terrorist or freedom fighter, assassin or soldier, good or evil, in the end it all depends on the point of view of the observer.

I haven't seen it, but the trailer makes it look just as bad as Independence Day Dicovererd that the pilot episode DVD of Caprica that I bought had a second disc in there with the pilot episode of something called 'Warehouse 13'. Never heard of it before, but looked kind of interesting in a twilight zone and x-files bastard child of way. Independence day is Shakespeare compared to Battle: Los Angeles

Battle: Los Angeles or whatever it's called. I don't remember the last time I watched such an utter crap.

And imagine how many workers will be able to choose will they work in oil facilities run by Shell, ExxonMobil, Total or BP! In your face unemployment!

Finally war in Libya, those large stockpiles of cruise missiles were getting awfully close to expiration date. And I do hope that after the war all Libyans will be able to experience the joys of McDonald's! Hip hip hurray for democracy!!!

US and the West launching air strikes because they are concerned about the welfare of the Libyan people.
-
So the sixth fleet is redeploying its ships in the Mediterranean. I guess the west is awfully concerned about the welfare of the Libyan people to the point of undertaking military action in order to ensure security and joys of democracy for all Libyans. ha ha ha

Would of been an excellent experience for almost anyone! And today I've been to the game against Slavia Prague which was the first game my club played in 1911.
-
From the pictures maybe it does, but compared to other big cities in the world it's really a 'village' hehe. Thanks!!!

Hehe no, those were signal flairs shot in the air and torches (don't know exactly what they're called) on the ground, not one fire was started in the town and the surrounding area although the entire fire department was on full alert.

I come from a small town (population 200 000) in a even smaller country in global scopes but what happened tonight is undescribeble by any words believe me. My city celebrated 100 years of existence of our home town football club Hajduk Split (1911 - 2011). The skies were more illuminated then in Bagdad 1991, it was like War of the Worlds, part 2!!! Stuff like this you can only experience in southeastern Europe or in South America.

Is he taking 60 billion dollars with him? I guess he and his family deserve it after such a long commitment and hard work serving the people. Scum, he and his entire family should be shot and executed.

Yes, the best thing would be that Mubarak kills thousands of his people and restores his power grip to the pleasure of US foreign interests. *Zing* And how do you see it panning out? We have yet another Deja vu in ME, a country with a leader backed by US and the West, a dictator with a democracy that's a joke. And the majority of people with totally different mind and opinion on number of issues who want him out. If the Muslim brotherhood takes over, you'll have another Iran on your hands. Something the US and Israel would like to avoid at all cost. The key issue now is Mubarak and his followers strong enough to remain in power or not. We'll wait and see...

The amount of crap that you're able to produce in just one short post is fascinating. First of all, Serbs weren't exclusively anti-German. Chetniks (Serb fraction) collaborated extensively with the Nazis because they had a common enemy - Tito and the communist (who were consisted of Serbs and Croats). Here are a couple of pictures to prove my point were you can see German soldiers together with Serbs posing. The leader of the Chetniks had a totally different idea how to form a state in the Balkans after the war, not a Yugoslavia but a Great Serbia, similar like the one Milosevic wanted to create. The other bull**** you claim is that Croats were all Ustachi on the side of the Nazis which is a damn lie. Ustachi regime and the people who supported it were primarily from North Croatia and from abroad, Croats from the South were almost all in the Partisans (Tito's fighters) as was my grandfather who died fighting the Germans in the WW2. As I said Partisans consisted of Serbs and Croats not just from the South but from North as well. You can say Croats were separated into two fractions, those supporting the Ustachi fascist regime and the Partisans. And a note, the Partisans were the only resistance force in WW2 large enough and capable enough to engage the Germans in the open battlefield on a division scales. Next crap you say is that Croatia received bunch of German Leopard tanks in the 1991 war. Hahahahahaha, how amusing. In the start of the war Croatia didn't have a single tank, most of the hardware equipment was in the hands of Serbs since most officers in the Yugoslav military were Serbian. Croats acquired tanks capturing them in battles and from Yugoslav military bases located in Croatia that weren't emptied on time and those were T-55 and T-72, not any silly Leopard tanks which Croatia never had back then. The British and the French ensured that the arms embargo was imposed although they knew very well that Croats and Bosnians were largely inferior to Serbs when it came to firepower and military hardware. But that is no surprise since the British and the French were silent Serb allies in fact and was their initial estimate that the Serbs would crush their opponents easily due to the military superiority. But when things got ugly in the Balkans and Milosevic's plan for a great Serbia didn't work out the current British and French regime were of course quickly appalled and always seemed neutral on the international stage, but they weren't at all. Scum. On the other side, yes Germany was a Croatian ally and did everything they could through diplomatic and humanitarian channels to aid Croatia. The ones who helped Croatia most smuggle arms to fight the Serbs was Hungary God bless them, and that was small arms in question, not any tanks. Do you have any more crap to produce? Hahahaha excellent propaganda!!! This is like saying: In 1939 the Polish terrorists executed numerous acts of terrorism on German people in West Poland and Germany, therefor Germany launched an invasion to ensure the freedom and security of the German people where ever they are! Heil Hitler!!! To be serious now, the KLA did commit a number of atrocities against Serbs living in Kosovo, especially in Mitrovica. But that was nothing compared to the size of killings Serbs committed on the Muslim population in Kosovo and the severity of which would be much grater if NATO didn't step in. And any wrongdoings by the KLA wasn't a factor that started troubles in Kosovo, they started long long before. They accumulated then because the population of Albanians living there through the years out surpassed the Serbian population which started to want more power and rights which Milosevic wouldn't give them for anything. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kosovo_Libera...terrorist_group The wikipedia page also provides a lot of other info on this, as well as links. As far as links with Al Qaeda and Iran, that info is quite a few years old now, but you could probably google about it. This just proves how easily the United States can change the label of an organization from terrorist to freedom fighters and vice versa depending how it suits its interests.

Fascinating amount of crap on this page.

cronicler: Interesting read. Might respond if I have time when I get home. NK sold missiles to Syria, Iraq, Iran in the past, that fact is known. Also when Pakistan developed their own A-bomb they didn't have the appropriate nuclear delivery system. NK had missile technology but didn't have the nuclear know how. Of course there was a mutual convergence and they traded. And Iran isn't so much in the need of nuclear fuel as their facilities now make the necessary quantities.

Wow, are we going to find out about information that the US will brake the principles of democracy, human rights and freedom when it comes to achieving its geopolitical and economic interests? Just shocking! Mary Poppins will be heartbroken. Sarcasm aside, some articles will surely be an interesting read.

My thought exactly regarding resources! NK doesn't have the logistics to wage an all-out invasion aimed against the South, and I don't mean ammunition but it lacks the necessary amounts of fuel, food, water, medicine and other such supplies to undergo such a move. I think they are aware of this fact and therefor wouldn't be undertaking such a move in case of an all out weapons exchange between the North and the South. But even without taking large offensive moves towards the South, NK can still cause extensive damage to SK's military and to the US military stationed on the peninsula, not to mention the civilian casualties. If they only held their positions in a general defensive strategy their supplies would last much longer then in a scenario mentioned above. And one critical question here is, in case of a possible conflict, would the flow of Chinese supplies going to NK through their aid and trade with the North stop or continue? But that's just a question that raises ten other ones and I'll leave it at that. The user Monte Carlo implied so, or whatever his name is, as part of my first post on this topic was a direct reply to him. Speaking on this subject, the only 'workable' plan of NATO in Europe was a nuclear counter-strike. In conventional warfare the Soviets were far more superior in Europe.

I'm trying to see questions here in the vast see of sarcasm. For starters I didn't say the US is no match for the NK nor do I think so. What I'm saying is the US can't just come with couple of bomber squadrons and take out NK missiles and artillery in one or two strikes and yeeee victory for the US!!! Such an act, any such act would mean an open war between the two Korea's. In the first Korean war the US saved its ally or the SK would have been defeated. The US forces stationed there ensured the stalemate endures all these years, without the US forces being there I believe that in some point the NK would attack. I was not implying that the NK military is so powerful they can wipe of SK while holding their breath. NK knows that the US is determined to defended SK and I believe they would lose if they invaded and primarily for some totally other reasons from those of military strength. On the other hand if the US tried to invade NK like Iraq, the current state of the US military having sorties in Iraq and Afghanistan just couldn't carry it out. I believe in this mess there couldn't just be a limited skirmish with any significant victories or goals achieved for the US or SK, just death and destruction for both NK and SK.

I didn't say that numbers are the critical factor to win in a battle or a war. The regular soldier is a pawn and will use its purpose in the NK military and I don't see the reason why would they immediately surrender in difficult situations as I pointed out totally different examples. And of course having a strict hierarchy structure that most resources go to the ones above as they have priorities and that doesn't have to undermine the capabilities of the ones below that structure in terms of readiness and will to fight. And there is malnutrition in NK, especially in the rural areas, but the talk of starving has been hyped in the media to the point like everyone in NK is eating one potato a week. They have a society where everything is about their leader, the military and the regime. Of course in such an environment there are those who want change and risk trying to escape. But nevertheless I'm confident their military backbone has a far higher morale then any other opponents the US military faced since the Vietnam war. But heck, what do I know, I'm totally brainwashed by the NK propaganda. The usual 'Volourn communication' for you.
