  1. It is a problem because you have to waste camping supplies on 1 character, not on the entire party and it doesn't feel right. In BG it was the other way around, 1st you were out of abilities and spells, then out of health and then it was obvious you should rest because every character in the party was spent. Here the fighter is spent, everyone should stop, massage his feet, tell him a tale, pour him a glass etc.
  2. Wrong, the abilities are recharged after the encounter, not on resting. Imo, the most obvious and least work demanding solution is to increase health/stamina ratio for melee classes and make it worse for ranged, a fighter should look like 300 heath/100 stamina while a wiz should be the opposite 30 health/100 stamina, thus poeple will care more not to expose rangers to damage.
  3. Could be true if there were no examples to follow. It's not like they have to invent something here, just going by the book whould have been fine. Also there is an issue of not being able to see ANY stat change (except maybe for DT) when you equip something, you can't go 1 ckick to "character" menu from the inventory menu too, you have to close the inventory first, in BG you could.
  4. +1, keep it up. Is it hard to hire a professional GUI designer with a 4mil budget nowadays?
  5. NWN 2 gui is horrible actually.
  6. Okay, the current health mechanic is flawed imo because only frontliners suffer from it while rangers are always healthy, when it's time to rest it's actually fighter's time to rest, while clerics mages and rangers can go on. If the devs insist on health why not make it shared somehow or let it be drained not from stamina loss but from encounter threat rating or continuous ability usage or something other folks here might come up with.
  7. Watching the obvious things you point out makes me wonder how many of the obsidian crew younger generation actually played BG, IWD and Torment.
  8. you can use the escape one more time to visualize the rogue. He doesn't turn invisible, he partially shifts to another dimention. )
  9. Items and quests don't disappear for you?
  10. try disabling colorblind friendly palette option which is on by default for some reason
  11. Is it just me or there is no back to normal speed key, only slow and double?
  12. the glove is actually a BG tribute, but your arguments are viable.
  13. When enemies do something nasty the game should warn me first a few seconds before the nasty ability is executed, if the lore on this monster is high, the effect should be halved.
  14. With disappearing gear and quests I can't make it how I'm supposed to be impresssed at all. My UI impressions.
  15. I pretty much agree with priest healing working the way it does, but potions should be different imo
  16. Why not make perception penetrate elemental DTs? Makes it a viable option for a mage
  17. If the remaining healing spells are applied at the end of an encounter it would save time micromanaging a priest. Also make the potions restore health as well, since they are consumable they should be different from priest healing.
  18. Disappearing items. It's just heartbreaking.
  19. Resolve less health is drawn from you when you recharge stamina, combat stamina regeneration rate. Mind negative status effects wear off quiker. Perception governs castspeed.
  20. Pic link
  21. it's not about fast or slow, it's about responsive, the damage should occur when you visually deliver the blow and the enemy reacts to it, not somewhere in between as it's now. when i fight i don't see how the animations effect health bars, the actual damage is not conveyed visually at all. This async between what you see and what is happening mathwise is a nwn disease that evidently followed here.
  22. my stashbox is a mimic it doesn't return anything I put there.
  23. +1 here, also when I got there to fight there were like a 20 boar companions spawned near one of his henchmen.
