Spy x Family 7: I forgot to mention in my previous comment. Anya is 4 years old and is pretending to be 6. Imagine how it would be like going to school like that. Imagine doing the homework for kids two years older... It's Anya's first class. She tries to get the mission back on track but, despite her brave efforts, things don’t go well. Yor tries to help her with math, but an assassin’s thoughts are not the best examples for a child. So Anya freaks out and lock herself in her room. Still, she ends up studying on her own until falling asleep. At least now Loid understands he has to be a better father.

Interesting that you say that, considering I avoid mentioning the most disturbing things in the story. For example episodes 1 and 2 spoilers only): But yes, there is plenty of adorable too.

Spy x Family Episode 4: Anya and her parents go to the Academy for the admission tests, which include looking elegant and impeccable, but Anya steps on poo and wants to pick her nose. Despite having the test's answers and being able to read the other students' thoughts, Anya barely passes it. Episode 5: Anya is accepted in the Academy and the family celebrates, but Anya refuses to go to school unless her father reenacts a rescue from her favorite tv show. Yor gets completely drunk and doesn't notice that Loid is a real spy. Episode 6: Some fools try to kidnap Anya. What could possibly go wrong?🤣 On the first day at school Loid learns that only the top students and their parents will be in the meeting he needs to attend. Not believing Anya can qualify, he prepares a plan B: to have her become his target's son's best friend. She reads his thoughts, but still ruins the plan.

I'm with more free time now, so I'm gonna catch up with anime. Forgot where I wrote down the next ones I'll watch so I ended up starting Spy x Family. This silly and funny anime is about a spy called Loid/Twilight that needs to get near an important politician. But the guy is very secretive and only shows up in his sons' school meetings. So now Twilight needs to pretend to have a family and get his child in the elite institution that is not for everyone. He adopts Anya, a 4 year old girl that loves spy stories and marries Yor, a public servant that is actually a damn good assassin and needs to have a partner to keep up appearances. None of them know about each other's true job. Oh, did I mention that Anya is a telepath and immediately finds out the truth about them? She gets excited about her father's mission, but what she really wants is to make sure it succeeds so that she can continue to have a family. Btw, they talk about avoiding a war in what looks like a mid 20th century like world, the mysterious politician is the head of the nationalist party and he looks like this: Yeah, definitely not Hitler. 🤣

SNW episode 1: Thanks Kurtzman (and the writers, but I still blame Kurtzman), I was actually enjoying the episode, despite all the problems mentioned in this thread, but this was too much. I'm still trying to understand why the security officer had to walk around to find out they were alone. What the hell happened to their sensors? Anyway, this does look better than the other new ST, so I'll keep watching this. But here is my prediction for the end (spoilers for Picard S2E10):

Why? Good question. I know people that spends a lot of money on The Sims' expansions, but even them don't own three copies of the game.

Just saw this and someone theorizing that this is planted evidence done by someone so stupid that they not only signed the book as "Undecipherable signature" but also were supposed to leave three sim cards there but instead left three copies of "The Sims".Omg🤣

Severance. Fascinating exploration of consciousness, identity and related topics. Dividing a person in two, one for personal life and another for work obviously won't end up well. Helly wouldn't have any of that right from the beginning. 🤣 This series is really well made, it looks good and weird. I saw someone saying a certain scene looked like something made by Stanley Kubrick and David Lynch together. The writing is good, nothing feels forced, which is not easy when you deal with the whole situation with the severed people. I also liked the actors' performances, even if on small moments, like with John Turturro and Christopher Walken. Some scenes were hilarious. An office can be unpleasant, but when your whole existence is work (literally closing the elevator's door at 5 pm and it immediately opens at 8 am and you are right back at work), things can get a lot worse. The first episodes were slower, but it got a lot more interesting in the end.

I somehow acquired the habit of grimacing at work when I'm displeased with something. That will be a problem when I stop wearing masks.
