Well, they made a bigger atomic bomb, which is bad considering what it can do. So atomic bombs is another thing Russia did worse.

Still, what he talks about in the video is actually pretty basic and comes direct from the equations, although it is far from obvious. And I'm talking about the Lorentz transformations, not the General Relativity's much more elaborate ones. I don't see how a better theory would discard that. But even if the future is determined, then we would still have as much free will as people had in the past, since it is all about points of view and frames of reference.

One of my favorite Youtubers. She corrected PBS Spacetime and Fermilab's channel on the Quantum eraser experiment (that supposedly had a result that affected the past) and explained that the experiment that proved reality depends on the observer was not really implying that. And talking about PBS Spacetime and free will, check this video, that explains why, according to Relativity, the future is already determined. Basically the idea is that two events (not linked by causality) that are simultaneous for us, let's call them A and B, don't happen at the same time for other observers. And it is possible that for one observer A happens before B and for another one B happens before A. So the future can't be undefined because what is future for us may happen before our past in a different point of view. So, what does that says about free will?🤔 Edit: don't ask me how this works when you take Quantum Mechanics into consideration...

Man, this was even worse than I thought. The nonsensical use of transporter and translator technologies, lack of continuity, everyone getting postions in Starfleet despite the problems... And it is only the beginning of the season. Edit: guess who else didn't hate the first episode "Its the same team, it can't go right" 🤣

I know, but it looked better than what they have been making and calling Star Trek so I decided to check it. Notice I haven't read the spoilers in your post yet. It is reasonably good (at least in comparison with the first season), however, there is still lots of things that keep telling me this is not Star Trek. I can't even identify all of them. The beginning was really boring and the entire episode was full of forced things like Picard suddenly having a serious issue that he has never discussed with Guinan and every character from the first season showing up at the same time (I was genuinely surprised when the crew from TNG didn't show up). My bet is that it will get worse and if I continue to watch it will be like Discovery S1 and TWoT all over again. Well, in that case I'll deserve it.

You guys convinced me to watch the second season of Picard. I hope I don't regret it.
