UN boss to nominate General Santos Cruz for fact-finding mission in Ukraine. I wonder if Russia will see this as good news, since Brazil is kind of supporting them. Both Bolsonaro and Lula are fans of Putin so regardless of who wins the election later this year, Brazil's position won't change. I don't remember any discussion about this in this thread, not that I checked it all the time, but the word here in Brazil is that more than an interest in Russian fertilizers, Brazil won't condemn the war because Russia is helping with the development of the Brazilian nuclear submarine.

A matter of taste. I see lots of people adoring it in the comment sections of Crunchyroll and Youtube. They also say the story is rushed in the Anime. That might help if the novels are boring.

Uncle From Another World 4: More memories and plenty of awkward situations. We still don't know everything that happened on the other world. I wonder for how long can Takafumi and Fujimiya stand his uncle's behavior. Overlord 4.5 Ainz goes to the Dwarven Kingdom on a diplomatic mission, but the truth is simply that he doesn’t want Albedo and Demiurge to discover he has no idea what a vassal state is. Shalltear taking notes and learning from Ainz was adorable. You can almost forget what she is like when she blood rages. Overlord 4.6 Ainz helps the dwarves and for once he is the one outsmarted.

The Sandman 1-4 I'm enjoying the show, the cast is pretty good. I didn't read the comics so I have no idea what was changed. -

If you are thinking about these things, you will find part of this episode very interesting. It's not the main plot in it though. The discussion I mentioned is just in one scene, so it is not really a spoiler. They say their currency is reputation and that is what can get you things in this society. The question here is, what do they want? Definitely not material wealth or ostentation. The part about getting bored is not in the episode, but it is related to purpose and the top of Maslow's pyramid: The best case scenario is: people do want to get powerful and control others, but they do it by becoming starship captains, chief engineers and so on. The worst case would probably be the evil you mentioned, maybe doing experiments with underdeveloped societies and who knows what. Reminds me of the Stargate Atlantis episode when they found a video game that was actually influencing real people, divided in two opposing factions. -
I remember reading years ago Brandon Sanderson saying how an author can't influence enough the decisions on an adaptation, unless the author was J. K. Rowling. It seems things have changed for him. In this video he says that the budgets that have been offered to him are enough to film even the Stormlight Archive, with all the unusual flora and fauna of that world. He also said in another video that he has been meeting with Hollywood people and they don't know how to deal with someone who already has money and can say no to them. I hope whatever is made from his books is adapted adequately. He certainly seems to want that.

It doesn't make sense, but I guess it's the premise of the anime.

Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous, Part 4
InsaneCommander replied to Vaeliorin's topic in Computer and Console
So I can do more tests later, when it becomes an advantage. Except maybe for my court poet, who already has 20 CHA. Although she already took a thug level for frightening, so I think I'll wait a few levels. Not sure how many enemies will be vulnerable to dazzling display in this game, but I'll take it anyway. Demoralize did work on the water elemental, at least. -

The Orville 3.10 Not my favorite episode this season, but still a good one. -
Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous, Part 4
InsaneCommander replied to Vaeliorin's topic in Computer and Console
Decided to play a little as a court poet. I feel like this character would be better for my first playthrough since she is chaotic and I wouldn't mind making any bad choices. My cleric, on the other hand, is a heroic crusader type and it might be better to play as him later, when I know how to get a happier ending. This probably doesn't make much sense... Anyway, a court poet main character would be great if the companions could benefit as much as possible from the increased charisma and intelligence from Insightful Contemplation, so I decided to do some tests. I tried multiclassing Seelah with a level of Scaled Fist and also with Oracle, choosing Nature's Whispers. In both cases she gets an AC bonus for charisma... however, only if she is not wearing any armor. She can't carry a shield either. I'm sure I saw this build somewhere. Oh yes, here. Apparently you can even stack the bonuses from Monk and Oracle. But then you give her bracers of armor and a mythical feat. They are discussing it in the comments, but it doesn't seem better than her wearing an armor. Maybe Lann can benefit from a level in Oracle, since he is not wearing an armor and will stay away from the frontline? But then he doesn't really need better AC that much? I like the Court Poet for roleplay reasons, but it seems Insightful Contemplation is mostly for helping with the DC of the party's spells. I don't know much about the companions (I only googled information on the ones I saw in the very early game and the ones I remember seeing when they talked about romanceable characters), but I checked Ember and Sosiel and it seems Ember, at least, has charisma as her casting ability. I also know that there is a wizard companion. That is probably another one I could have for this party. I don't need anything extraordinary for Insightful Contemplation, so this is probably good enough for me. Edit: Lann has good wisdom, not charisma, and he already has the ac bonus. -

Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous, Part 4
InsaneCommander replied to Vaeliorin's topic in Computer and Console
Through the Ashes It got a lot easier once I properly equipped my characters, especially the tank. In the last map I eventually stopped using potions and scrolls. And I fought against everyone I could find. I did play on normal, though. I would try it again with a different approach and on a harder difficulty, but I decided to start the main campaign. I'm gonna play as a metal oread cleric of Iomedae. I disabled GOG updates and I have the installer for the current version on backup, so the EE shouldn't be a problem. Edit: I was trying to avoid resting, not sure what the consequences were. Also, I ended with a significant amount of money. I could probably have bought better items and plenty of healing potions. -

The Orville 3.9 Second last episode, so everything is a spoiler.

Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous, Part 4
InsaneCommander replied to Vaeliorin's topic in Computer and Console
I think it will be released in September. Can I disable updates on GOG? By that I mean, will it work? I recall a case on Steam that it made no difference. Not sure what game it was now. I have no idea of how Court Poet works in PnP. But anyway, I decided to go with cleric since then I'll have an extra tank. Through the Ashes I'm about to finish the second area. I'm playing on normal to get familiar with the system again. I'll replay it on a higher difficulty later. -

Uncle From Another World 2 I forgot to mention when I talked about the first episode: Episode 2: We meet with another character, with hilarious interactions. It could have been worse. What if he was a fan of Star Trek or The Wheel of Time?

Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous, Part 4
InsaneCommander replied to Vaeliorin's topic in Computer and Console
So when I am finally gonna play the game they announce an Enhanced Edition. Should I wait to start it after that is released? For now I decided to play the Through the Ashes DLC. I already know the two spoilers for the main story so I'm ok with that. I can't decide if I'll go as a Court Poet or Cleric in the main campaign, but for the DLC I chose Martyr.
