Chanter Solo "The Ultimate"
I'll keep an eye on this thread because I still want to try this challenge. These ideas look very interesting.

Are we done with major patches?
InsaneCommander replied to heldred's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)I think the new turn based mode will require an extra patch later. There will probably be things to fix there, no matter how hard they work on it now.

TV's Vast Wasteland
I've never seen GoT and I plan to start it soon, perhaps tonight! I'll understand if you disappear from the forums for some time. Enjoy!

TV's Vast Wasteland
Well said. The only alternative to who came first/what happened before that I can think of is infinity in time. And the Big Bounce is one way to have it. Another is a (new?) idea that there is an antimatter universe expanding before the Big Bang. If you change matter to antimatter and invert the time arrow, it behaves the same. I'll post it in the Scientific Discoveries thread if I find the news again. And to be back on topic, anyone excited for GoT season 8? Edit: it is not really a discovery, so I'll leave it here.

I really like Thor: Ragnarok. It's so much fun. And crazy.

(Forgotten Sanctum) Can we, or can we not join the Circle of Archmagi ?
InsaneCommander replied to Atherelm's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire Stories (Spoiler Warning!)IIRC, he was actually nice to Bekarna. When she mentioned that even he had to fight to be accepted as an Archmage, he said that they are not a big deal.

TV's Vast Wasteland
Well, take that argument all the way back and you have ... God, right? But if God created the Universe, where was He before that? In a larger Universe? Who created that? Sorry, I'm not trying to create a controversy here... And how can you disprove this? And don't forget that their definition of Specialist is "whoever is on the screen".

What would you like for an hypotetical PoE3?
InsaneCommander replied to juanval's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)Pallegina will definitely be back. And she will blame you for the things she wanted to do in Deadfire.

Finally watched Titans. I want more. And more characters.

If you ask them, the answer is yes. Even the porn industry was created by aliens. Edit: I think the idea is that everything that happened in the history of mankind was done by Aliens. Well, except the things the Aliens say they didn't do.

The incredible water-breathing pig and other silly observations
InsaneCommander replied to hollerer's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)Yeah this is very immersion breaking. They should probably do something about it. You can always choose not to do these immersion breaking things though. Yes. On my third PoE pt I wanted to sneak into Raedrics Hold. But It wouldn't make sense for the Bear to climb a rope. So I decided to slaughter everyone as in my second run.

The incredible water-breathing pig and other silly observations
InsaneCommander replied to hollerer's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)I'm more impressed by the Bear companion that climbed the tower in Raedric's hold. Once you clean the Crypt, it'll actually be safer than the streets of Neketaka. But good point about slaughtering ships. You can even attack Vailian ships with Pallegina on board. She will help you fight her countrymen. And Eder and Xoti will not complain!

Forum edit function too... sensitive?
Back on topic? Ok. I just made another mistake and I can't edit it to add a letter without it showing that it was edited. Damn my rusting English.

TV's Vast Wasteland
Love them too. I visited von Däniken's Mystery Park in Switzerland and once met the guy at one of his "lectures" for some ancient aliens fun, I even have an autographed copy of one of his books somewhere. These ancient astronaut guys are as hilarious in real life as they are on TV. Yes, UFO Hunters and Ancient Aliens are comedies.

What would you like for an hypotetical PoE3?
InsaneCommander replied to juanval's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)Loop-de-loop. We start by being reincarnated as Maerwald. Whole games is about avoiding being killed by some weirdass character seeing visions travelling with a farm boy chewing whiteleaf while we fight for dominance over other personalities. Ends with a faceoff under Caed Nua. Half of the game would be mental battles against other personalities.

What would you like for an hypotetical PoE3?
InsaneCommander replied to juanval's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)I think the right question is: can they come up with another way to make the Watcher start at level 0 again? cannot pull good old amnesia protagonist trick again technically it already happened in deadfire so maybe get soul stuff into a construct and have to find the body before it expire? The only way I can think that wouldn't look bad is to reincarnate in another body. But that would be problematic considering the story.

TV's Vast Wasteland
That is good because the new episodes of X-Files were disappointing. Well, except the comedy ones, but that says something about whether it should be brought back or no. Btw, I tried watching a Romanek something "movie" in Netflix. For some reason I imagined it would be like Fire in the Sky, but it is just garbage.
