  1. The only thing I can imagine is that: If you're Lightside, she (and the PC) jump back on board the Ebon Hawk and vroom away. or: If you're Darkside, she (and the other force sensitives/Dark Jedi from the Ebon Hawk) come into the Training Academy as your loyal followers in the New Order of Triumphantly Evil Non-Exiled Status Badguys.
  2. I heard from my brother's sister's cousin's former roommate that there will be non-human playable races, such as: HUTT JEDI!
  3. Well, both sides have their ups and downs (pardon the pun). I enjoy playing as both. Different party members react positively or negatively to some LS or DS activities you commit during the game, though, so you might want to think about who you're taking with you when you go to either kill or help someone, etc.
  4. Hehe! Maybe it's an anagram? Atton Rand .... Rat and Not? :D
  5. There are definitely some skills I pretty much always pick when playing any character, such as Security and Demolitions and of course Persuade and Awareness. Computer and Repair are very handy too. For other skills, like Stealth or Treat Injury, I often level that up on one of my party members, then just drag them out to an external Workbench if I want an upgrade created utlizing one of those skills. Bao-Dur is great as a skills encyclopedia. When playing, though, I pretty much like all of the classes. I love being able to Force Jump, but I also love skills, and I love (Tim Allen grunt) "MORE POWER" with my Force nukes, etc. I love that the Sith Lord and the Jedi Master can both rub their alignment off on your party members easily (more quickly of course depending on how much Influence you have with each). It's great to see them reach their LS or DS bonuses (if they've been trained as Jedi, that is). :D
  6. Atton Presley! :D Uh... thankyaverymuch...
  7. There are a couple of places where Stealth comes in handy, such as disabling mines between you and your enemies, or discovering some tidbit of info. for a quest ... There are also some strategies utilizing it, such as sneaking up to a group of badguys (or goodguys, depending on which way you swing ) and laying mines around them.
  8. According to the KOTOR Savegame Editor, there's also Malak's Armor and Jolee's Robe, but I've never gotten either of those to drop legitimately in-game. " EDIT: oops, you mentioned Malak's armor already. Doh!
  9. LS Mastery's bonus depends on your class(es); for instance, a Jedi Master's LS bonus is +3 WIS. The Prestige class LS or DS stat bonus stacks with your previous class's bonus, though (for instance, if you went LS Sentinel that's 3 DEX, then another 3 DEX if you get the LS Watchman Prestige Class, for a total of 6 effectively). There are also comparable bonuses to DS Mastery. For a Consular, for instance, it's +50 Force Points. For a Sith Lord, it's also +50 Force Points. I would have to look up the others, though; I have 'em written down here somewhere... In answer to your question about HK's bonuses: I think it was an experience bonus, a WIS bonus (1 I think) and ummm I forgot what else, sorry.
  10. I have seen the ending as a lightsider and a darksider a couple of times, but the last several playthroughs, yah, I stop at the Dantooine bit. Well, I like to go confront Atris too.
  11. Sadly, there are sound files for Vash, the master on Korriban, but apparently they cut her part(s) out and left her dead.
  12. A high Charisma also gives your party members a bonus to their combat rolls ... I dunno how much for how much, though.
  13. Juhani says: "Cat, I'm a Kitty cat, and I dance dance dance..."
  14. He's a pointy headed Zabrak stalker!
  15. I got inspired by this thread and made a new clickable sig. :D
  16. Like the Mandalorian Wars! Err... wait...
  17. Well, the "Star Wars" tale(s) are inspired by Jungian psychology and the archetypes he described, and as such they show the evil side/good side (animus/anima), the process of individuation, or the journey towards reaching one's potential, etc. So, yah, that's kinda always been the motif. It's been years since I studied any of that, though, so I might be off a bit.
  18. Indeed, these lines are very satisfying:
  19. Play a female character and find him on Dantooine in the Jedi Enclave sublevel, where you find the dead Mandalorians and the clue about Vrook being taken captive.
  20. True, Influence wasn't needed to "win" the game, but since the ending of the game seems pretty crappy to most people on the boards, the game's other little neat touches, like the Influence system, seem to stand out in retrospect. Yes, but what I found to be a fun aspect of the Influence system was that most of those characters seemed to be one way at first, but after you earned up enough trust with them, you found out what was under the surface. For example, Bao Dur's calm exterior hid his pure hatred for the Mandalorians; Handmaiden's oaths to Atris belied her secret desire to be like her Jedi mother; Atton's scruffy lookin' nerf-herder style was a way of blending in to escape his shameful past; etc.
  21. Nah, the cheesy "it's all a dream" thing was already done by "Dallas."
  22. Yah, there are a few times where the text/voice lines don't match up to the sex of the player. I think I only noticed them, though, if the PC was female. I don't think I saw any "her" references when playing as a male character.
