Simple yes/no question: Is ...the end..
nightcleaver replied to EldestCosmonaut's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
It sucks that they destroyed all hope of talking to your party members, after everything was really set in motion... Did you really not get to go to Onderon/Dxun and Korriban? That's strange... -
Will there be a KOTOR3?

I wonder if that makes people like him more, in a certain sense... -
Did I miss something...?
nightcleaver replied to thepixiesrock's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Yeah, I remember that pretty clearly. Not long before the game was finished and released, even. Maybe they were just taking about the quest to get a saber. -
So....I ended up playing KOTOR II.

Reason for console version appearing before PC
nightcleaver replied to ZekeWolf's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Maybe they have a sloppy QA department. I mean, it's not like you have to know how to make good games - you just have to play them and report problems. Certain bugs were constantly an issue when I played, so wasn't this noted? -

has a pretty interesting dialogue that leads to her becoming a Force adept, and you can really feel like a Master and apprentice for that moment. I really liked it... and it seems befitting that their should've been more, but there wasn't. -
Just finished it LS/Male (with revan LS/male

She didn't say those names. She said they'd die a slow death over many millenia; nothing we didn't know already. -

That's the apprenticeship you get. Depending on how you play your cards, you may get it sooner or later. I've heard that it isn't possible to get your saber, but I'm still looking into that. -

Meh, that's life. I guess it really is a matter of taste... I know plenty of people who don't like the perfect endings you see so often. -

Ahh, hehehe... the Atris conversation was my all time favorite. I was thinking.... perhaps a prequel could happen in the Mandalorian wars, instead of necessarily a sequel? The nature of it seems that such a prequel would even explain where Revan and the Exile went, after The Sith Lords. I suppose we'd have to take control of the Exile, though, because his path is the one less set in stone. Besides, I sort of liked viewing Revan as an outside entity. His legacy is too large to be dynamic enough in a computer game, and I'm more interested in Revan's inner motives (which can't be explained through dialogue choices you make very easily) and elaborating on the Exile's. -

Funny. Your game turned out exactly as mine did. Visas was closer to being a romance than Mira, though... romance doesn't take the form it did in the first game. It's barely there... only suggested in certain dialogues, innuendo and outpouring emotion. -

I still don't understand what everyone thinks the ending is missing. Whatever. Oh, no! It doesn't say that to LS users. It's perfectly satisfying... more so in certain ways compared to the first game... What you did matters. The Republic is saved because of you, and your friends touched by what you did with them. It's still sad, though. I won't tell you what happens at the end... but suffice to say, Revan's and the Exile's fate are the same. At least, if they're both LS. And that fate isn't clear-cut, but for the sake of the story being feasible... I think... they don't say the exact nature of their fate. You are partially right, but I can't tell you how partially right without spoiling the ending. LS and DS are equal, but not necessarily the same. -

Revan wasn't really developed at all in KotOR I... except that he was a war hero, a manipulator, and one-time villain. ( or all-time villain) The Exile's stuff is a bit more complex. His connection to the force is different. Where I'm sure some don't like that difference, and think it un-star-warsy... how do you think Bastila could be incredible with Battle Meditation, and not particularly with everything else? -
Actually, I don't think Kreia meant the True Sith were actually a race. She says "Sith are an ideal" and "True Sith" in one blow, implying that whatever is beyond the outer rim is the "True Threat," the "True Sith." I wonder if you'll ever grow up and realize how totally childish and, frankly, not that all-knowing you were in the days of trolling the Obsidian boards...

Who were you confused about? You were trying to save the galaxy, because it needed saving and you had the means. Kreia was, well... we know what she was doing all along. Or at least I think I do. Ask me if that's your question. Also, this IS an RPG - if you want to know what happens beyond the main plotline, as far as your NPC's motives, you have to figure it out for yourself. If that's at all part of what you're talking about. I thought this game did a pretty good job of explaining that, though... I, personally, am left with a feeling of, "What next?", not, "What the heck just happened?" Were you confused about who the true antagonist was? That's easy enough to clear up...

Pretty much what you've seen in the screenshots.
-
Some people don't like loose ends to a story. I'm having trouble seeing why people see this as sloppy story-telling, however - the nature of the "True Sith" threat is unexplained because no one knows, it's that simple. I've played the game, and in my opinion it was a better ending than the first.

She has a couple of lines, too. -
Have you seen any of the screenshots? Yes; although the question is, how flowing did you want them to be?

nightcleaver replied to GSpotFrenzy's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
That would be a good excuse for you to just create a party from scratch... hmm... And then you'd decide the history of each, as well. That would be interesting. But no. Thinking of a reason for two Jedi losing connection to the Force... again... would be a bit far-fetched. Perhaps, though, they'll go into epic levels again... and as with you'll be fairly high level before meeting the others. -
So I guess I gotta know...Revan?

It sounds like a hardware problem rather than a software problem.
