  1. The first game was great. I have plenty of good memories from it, but I also remember the game-breaking bug at the castle ground. It's worth replaying the game.
  2. It seems possible to get stuck in the narrative without knowing where to go next. What to do?
  3. If there's nothing in particular to whine about you can always invent something! Just, wow ... Take a long hard look at yourself in the mirror, OP--you're an ebarassment. And I say that without any prior judgment.
  4. I wish I had paid more for the game to get it in a box. It's absolutely fantastic and here's hoping Obsidian releases several expansions and sequels. I'll be buying them all and I don't even have time for computer games anymore.
  5. I'm not sure I understand what you're talking about. I've not chosen a voice for Aloth, why would you do that? He's found in the village and then comes with you.
  6. I'd like a way to mod the map according to my parameters. That's not possible at present time.
  7. I expect several expansions and a sequel. And I'll buy them all, no questions asked.
  8. It really isn't that hard. There are a myriad guides on the Internet if you just bothered looking for them.
  9. I guess some people (like OP) are never happy with anything and just find any reason to spoil it for everyone else. Sigh.
  10. You will need to adapt. Some fights are not worth it until you've levelled up a bit. Like previous posters have said, get a tank while you burn the enemies.
  11. I checked the Order page and it doesn't mention anything about a Kickstarter item. I know I have the achievement though.
  12. I play on normal difficulty. Mainly because my game time is limited, and I don't want to spend hours on one encounter. It's a beautiful game with a lot of things to experience, there's no need to ramp up the level too much. Anyway, those are my £0.02.
  13. I got a space pig and a ring, having the Kickstarter Hero edition. They downloaded and installed automatically on Steam.
  14. I'm so hyped up right now I think I got some sick on my collar.
  15. I'm 37 and I'm still as giddy as I was at Christmas 30 years ago. Game releases do that to you, especially when they hold this magnitude. I've been good enough to focus on other aspects for the past few years and it's not until last night that I felt the time had come. Now I can't wait, and despite working on Saturday I will spending a good amount of time with the game. Can't wait!
  16. I love the fact that the recent influx of new RPG have proved to be succesfull and that old and new gamers once again can play these sort of games. Goes to show how diverse the gaming industry really can be and it's not all about shooters and fast-moving entertainment. Two thumbs up to Obsidian!
  17. "Betrayed" by Obsidian. Really? I haven't been following the development at all and I registered on the website ages ago and got my key today. People who "feel betrayed" should wake up and smell the coffee and stop feeling so entitled the whole time. It's a very easy procedure to register on the website, fill in the stuff that needs to be filled in, and then generate your key for the appropriate platform. It's not difficult. You just have to read a little bit.
  18. I'll probably just have a packet of biscuits and a cup of coffee. I'm working on Friday so gotta keep it light until then.
  19. I'm very excited about this release. Been waiting for it a very long time.
  20. It would be lovely with a Mac version on day 1. A lot of people use Macs these days, me included.
