  1. I absolutely agree with you, about the going forward in time. Though depending upon the societal changes, I might not even return.
  2. Anyone else struck by deja vu when viewing some of the character models on the official site? The human armor reminds me a lot of Storm Troopers and one of the alien models is almost exactly like the guardian species from 'The Fifth Element.' Mass Effect Aliens http://media.xbox360.ign.com/media/718/718963/imgs_1.html Look at the second picture, particularly the human and one on the right. I cant find a picture of the aliens Im talking about from the movie, but if youve seen it the resemblance is clear. The storm trooper armor is also fairly reminiscent without comparison.
  3. Okay, starting today, I shall reassume my duties, providing no one ( <_< ) attempts a rebellion. Sorry for the delays, but Ive had some fairly important things going on lately. I will revise and post W03 later today, with S04 due Wednesday.
  4. To what do you refer? Also, have you never had times in your life when some things must take a backseat due to a lesser priority? I have had a lot going on recently, but I was planning to make all revisions today, then set the deadline for S04 for Wednesday. Frankly, I consider this thread rather childish.
  5. No problem. Hint: It sometimes helps to set the acceptable language(s) of results when using google.
  6. Season 2, Episode 1.
  7. Short Bio It might also help to search for Rene Magritte, an artist friend of his. Louis named a great many of Magritte's works and so may be found through this connection. I was unable to locate any more precise biographical information, but judging by some of the quotes attributed to Louis, he was somewhat of a Satanist.
  8. Wow. God is a throwback. That was beginning to remind me of one of the Kung Fu movies where the student becomes more powerful than the master.
  9. Im sorry. Its been a very busy week. This is the first time Ive been able to get on the Internet in the last 36 hours. I will fix everything when I can.
  10. Its from the same badly translated game as "All your base are belong to us." I cant remember the name right now.
  11. Hmm? Ill update tomorrow. Ive been rather busy lately. Spring will be due this Friday.
  12. A slight reminder: It is now September. Perhaps time to update your sig?
  13. Maneuvering can sometimes be awkward. But otherwise the control are fairly natural. I particularly like the action system handled in this game. Basically, the words 'Get Ready!' appear on screen and then two circles (corresponding to the left and right thumbsticks) divided into four parts each come up. A section will light up and you have to push the appropriate thumbstick in the correct direction. It measures your accuracy and speed and decides whether you succed or fail. Theres also alternately pushing the left and right triggers to complete some threshold tasks, but it gets somewhat tiring after a while. A word of advice: Try to succeed on everything. It makes a difference in possible responses. Also, when the main character (Lucas Kane) starts getting his special abilities, the action scenes are, to put it simply, awesome. From what I can tell, there are two endings: a good one and a bad one.
  14. I am arranging a joint purchase of a new computer with my parents. The one we currently have was bought several months before MS released XP. Damn computer illiterate adults. <_<
  15. I finished Fahrenheit yesterday. Its fairly short (6-7 hours) but highly enjoyable and fairly original. I too tend to focus on the story moreso than any other aspect, but I do regret when a good game is shorter than I would like.
  16. I have at least minimal interest in the following shows this season: Surface
  17. A little late here, but I have an awesome birthday list. I share it with the Emperor of China Hongzhi, Ferdinand I de Medici, Emily Bronte, Henry Ford, Laurence Fishburn, and Tom Green among others. Also, it is the day the House of Burgesses (the first representative assembly in the US) convened in Jamestown, the day, Nixon released the documents for the Watergate Scandal after being subpoenaed, the day Jimmy Hoffa disappeared, the day Apollo 15 landed on the moon, and most importantly of all, the day LBJ signed the Social Security Act into law. Yeah, my birthday's just cool like that. :D
  18. We'd still need a Ferenghi. Maybe Mets when/if he comes back.
  19. Jags is the co-editor of the rules we will be using, so I have no objection. Would be nice if we could see those rules though... "
  20. GI Joe PSAs
  21. I am American, but I agree: the majority of my countrymen are idiots and deserve to be treated as such. And people wonder why I support limited eugenics.
  22. Very well. I will amend my ruling to follow the specific letter of the rules. I still dont think its makes tactical sense, though.
  23. What Im attempting to say is that it was impossible to predict such a situation would occur given my inexperience, thus how could I have changed the rules before the game? If someone had brought this up as a hypothetical, I would most likely have decided the same way.
  24. If you are looking at newer games, Id suggest looking into Indigo Prophecy AKA Fahrenheit. I havent played the PC version so I cant comment on the controls, but I played the Xbox Demo and I quite enjoyed it. It seems to be based on Mayan mythology to some degree, intertwined with a supernatural murder mystery.
  25. Congratulations to both you and Sarah, Ender. May your nights be long and the crying minimal.
