Hey everyone. Hope you guys are all doing well in this crazy f---d up world we find ourselves in. I was unaware of Charlie Kirk until this morning. Gwen and I have been exploring Zion National Park since August. We've been staying at Watchman Campground mostly but we did backpack out to Lava Point and primitive camped for a few nights. This is by far one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. Hanging out in Salt Lake City now. Then taking a trip down I-40 to Tennessee. I have some business to wrap up there bore heading back to Wisconsin. Life has been pretty good. We had almost no cell coverage in the park and almost never turned the radio on. The world is a wonderful place if you can just divorce yourself from all the negativity. Hope you guys are all ok. It's been a while.

Descent into fascism is a process not an end state. Examples: using government regulatory authorities to silence speech the powerful don't like. Plain clothes security forces rounding up people without due process. The Supreme Court using the shadow docket to push through blatantly unconstitutional decisions in favor of the current administration The rule of law being repeatedly ignored with no consequences I'd say that for the midterms to change anything the dems would have to have crushing victories in both the House and the Senate. I'm not sure, but I think in the Senate that's utterly impossible, even with the assumption of entirely free and fair elections. Also that assumption is becoming less and less guaranteed. Additionally, even if the dems win overwhelmingly, if they keep behaving in the same way they did during the Biden mandate, they will, at best, be an hiatus. I don't think Trump is necessary anymore, at this point the GOP seems entirely captured by its far right faction. Still, what happens to the GOP with a dead Trump is a bit of an open question. I sometimes have conversations with a colleague of mine who thinks Vance would be worse than Trump. I think he'd be a lame duck.

The one thing I enjoy about the US's descent into fascism is how quickly the constitution went from holy, sacred immutable document that must be followed how the founding fathers intended, to a piece of paper written specifically to be ignored.

So I came across this photo on Facebook and IMMEDIATELY thought to myself "Wow, imagine if we came up to a spot in grounded 2 with one of those decoys and it was the start of a Named Boss Batlle! That would be amazing!" It may not be a perfect idea but it's a possibility... The picture enclosed below is the photo from Facebook I am referring to Now obviously game content creators would have to do their own thing to make this idea a reality if interested in it but personally I think it would be a cool addition to the game Also, Maybe in the future we can get a Praying Mantis Mount! I feel like the fight style of the Mantis would pair well in the game as a player mount.. Plus the jumps on them are crazy high and this would be good for building bases starting from harder to reach places! The Orb Weaver Mount has a pretty good jump right now but can only jump like 2 walls high still, I want to be able to jump higher than that to get places easier! There is a lot of gathering and such required to build and do things properly and this option could make things just a little easier so it doesn't seem like such a chore to build and scavenge while killing insects! Who's bright idea was it to add this flower smack dab in the middle of my base? it even clips through the post. why put this here? please move it. i cant send more screenshots since they're too big but i built our base on top of the wooden post directly southeast of the fire pit. one flower was fine, i built around it, but now you add a flower that goes straight through it, blocks entrances and staircases, and it doesn't even look good since it clips through the post. at least point it the other way please. this is a common building spot to my knowledge and this might be fine for some given they usually start over every update but i spent a ton of time on this base and would like to keep playing as more content gets added. i really don't want to move over something as stupid as this. i cant be the only one having this issue. I know its on the test server but if this stays into the live server release I'm gonna be pretty upset. Just seems really pointless and out of the blue to add just this one random milkweed flower here.
