I think almost every state in the union is subject to some sort of potential natural disaster. We've got hurricanes, tornadoes, volcanoes, wild fires, earthquakes, floods, blizzards, tidal waves, droughts, landslides, dust storms, and so forth. One of the few states that seem a little safe is Michigan, at least until the next ice age.

are there console commands so we can fix this ourselves ? edit: there is the console enabler (SML) on nexus mods that you can download as for quest names im still looking.. edit2: also found the quest name 0604_pq_thearchive but no commands worked trying to restart it... I tried this (pressed ` twice to open the full console) StartQuest 0604_pq_thearchive it does not give an "Command not recognized" error but the quest stage is not reset either.... I suspect the console commands for questing do not work... this is how I found the quest name : I used Fmodel and opened The Outer Worlds 2\Arkansas\Content\Paks\Arkansas-Windows.ucas (72GB) and then for this file Arkansas/Content/Exported/BaseGame/Localized/enus/Text/Text_enus.uasset I used right click - Save properties in json format (a folder Output will be created with the json file) oh and also for this to work you also need to download TOW2 Unreal Mappings .usmap for FModel (nexus mods) and in Fmodel settings - General - Mapping File Path you browse for that file.. maybe someone else figures this out... funny enough I actually spent more time on this then if I loaded the game and played though the thing again (30m~) But its a thing of principle.. this is a MAIN QUEST AND THIS SHOULD NOT HAPPEN !!!

Hello! I just completed PoE1 and absolutely loved it. I played a pistolero Rogue and wanted to keep that going in the sequel as well but I'm having some real bad choice paralysis and would appreciate some tips and pointers. The character fantasy I'm looking for is something like the Freelancers from the ICON ttrpg if that says anything to anyone. TLDR gunslinger with magical bullets or attacks. The first thing that came to mind was Arcane Archer Scout but I'm a bit iffy on the animal companion (Even though something like Ghostheart would fit with Freelancer's astral chain gimmick.) That is at the moment my most favoured pick but I'm still a little hung up on actually making it work. Holy Slayer seems fun and fairly functional even with dual wielded guns since flames of devotion counts as a full attack. Bleak Walker seems the optimal pick for the free sickened but the rp flavour is a little restrictive so I'm leaning on Kind Wayfarers. I'm a bit worried a backline or even mid-range gunner might be wasting Paladin's excellent defenses and I'm not really interested in playing a tank. The next option I was thinking of was Spellblade with either enchantment or illusion but I'm a little scared it might end up with too little support for the guns themselves. Could still potentially be interesting. For weapons I'm mostly fine with all types of firearms, though dual wielded pistols or blunderbusses are calling me. I am also aware of the Street Fighter/Blunderbuss modal interaction but I'm a little wary of friendly fire since I'm not doing a solo run or anything. Every opinion and tip helps!

Started a fresh playthrough of Fallout: New Vegas on PC after years of playing it on PS3. Got the Ultimate Edition as well.

The sniper thing from stealth or invisibility is nice at the beginning but doesn't really hold up later imo because the damage per shot isn't climbing as much as the enemies' health pools are. Assassin is really good in combination with spellcasters though. The high accuracy from stealth/invisibility is very useful then. If you want to maximize the damage per shot from stealth/invisibility you can try Assassin/Bleak Walker and pick up Dragon's Dowry and the Ring of Focused Flames. The second option Streetfighter/Kind Wayfarer works very well right away because it's pretty front loaded with good abilities. But it also keeps getting good new abilities on the way. Great damage dealer and good healer rolled in one.

Rogue(Assassin)/Ranger(Sharpshooter) | Arquebus Rogue(Streetfighter)/Paladin(Kind Wayfarer) | Blunderbuss Would be the combinations i'm most interested in. Which would you say is the better option? Or rather, likely to work better? The first has some nice sniper vibes, which i enjoy!

Possibly. Just like the woke detector rubes that think they affect game sales, vocal minorities tend to inflate their impact. Hogwarts Legacy is a good example of this, since it got hit by both sides of the argument. The reality is it was a very good game, critically acclaimed, sold well, and still ended up in trouble because WB is bad at business. The controversy around it had little effect.

Hm... depends on the difficulty. On anyting lower than PotD I think it's fine - as long as you don't try to be the main tank. Arcane Knight is a pretty strong class combo in general due to the combination of Wizard's self buffs + Paladin's passives. On PotD it's more difficult to tank enemies without a shield because the enemies' accuracy is higher and also their penetration. So a bit more experience is good to have in that case. I think for a first playthrough something like Herald or Crusader is pretty forgiving no matter the difficulty setting.

Besides Cipher there are lots of good options: Ranger - obviously Chanter - Sure-Handed Ila's -20% reload/recovery time bonus is applied twice to reloading weapons such as guns, which is very good Paladin - especially Kind Wayfarer with dual pistols or blunderbusses: White Flames procs twice when dual wielding. Nice damage and nice healing at the same time. Monk - extremely good with your possible companion Serafen's hand mortars: https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/133662-class-build-the-mortar-monk-bombed-aoe-disabler-and-atomizer/ Rogue - in general but especially Streetfighter with two blunderbusses + blunderbuss modal "Poweder Burns": Powder Burns distracts the shooter which automatically unlocks the Streetfighter passive "Heating Up" which reduces reloading time by 50% and gives +50% extra Sneak Attack damage, very potent And then any mix of those. For example Arcane Archer (Ranger)/Troubadour(Chanter) is one of my favorite combos because Gunner and Sure-Handed Ila stack their reloading speed bonuses and Driving Flight + Aefyllath Ues Mith Fyr do improve damage per hit a lot. Real nice with arquebus, especially Dragon's Dowry packs a good punch and is relatively fast that way. The Red Hand is always great. Streetfighter (Rogue)/Helwalker (Monk) with dual mortars and a focus on using Stunning Surge is also very good. I don't find Fighter particularly good with guns except some gimmiky builds. Other classes such as Barbarian also don't make too much sense with guns . It's doable but there are no good synergies. For example Blood Thirst doesn't work with reloading weapons and that's a pity. Single class Druid has one special build with Avenging Storm and hand mortars (or regular blunderbusses) which is very good - but only works at high levels, before that it's nothing special. Wizard can use blunderbusses and an Essential Phantom (it gets your weapons) in combiantion with Combusting Wounds - which is pretty nice but feels a but one-trick-pony-ish. But then on the other hand: a Wizard/Ranger with Driving Flight and hand mortars + Combusting Wounds would be pretty devastating against certain mobs. Priest can work but has nothing special for guns.

Newly installed and running

My family rewatches the movies yearly, usually around the holidays. We also have wands and a few items that we've taken to Universal Studios a few times. I'm not sure I'm into an HBO series though. It seems very early for a reboot, but maybe I'm wrong. HBO also seems like a strange place to launch a show that is really supposed to appeal to young people first and foremost. I mean that was the brilliance of the books and the movies. The superfans basically grow up with the characters. Granted JK Rowlings has alienated a good chunk of the fanbase, but like with Hogwarts Legacy, the IP has outgrown the author quite a bit.

Hey! First time playing PoE2 and i really, really enjoy some guns in my fantasy setting! x3 So what classes/multiclasses could work well with guns as their main focus? I used a gun/cipher in PoE1 and want to do something different now. Been looking at Chanter, Rogue or some Fighter combination? Paladin? Rogue? Not sure, as the system is just sooo different from everything else i've been playing. I'd also appriciate some rec's for the Statspread and all! ^^

If redacted does deploy US troops to the small Iranian islands, they are probably going to have to stay there for a lengthy deployment. They will be subject to bombardment from the mainland, plus defending against raids and drones. It could be a steady hemorrhaging from troop fatalities, which will tank public support. I don't see this turning out well.

Hi everyone, After today's update, the game won't start anymore. It was working fine yesterday. Now I immediately get error code 0xc0000005. My drivers are up to date, and so is the operating system. Windows 11 Pro 25H2

Honestly? If I lived on the US west coast, I would worry more about the San Andreas Fault than climate change I was thinking about it when I lived in Wellington (New Zealand). That street going through the middle of the city with the brass plaques showing where the water front once was (until an earthquake rearranged local geography). Those earthquakes happens at regular intervals and iirc both ones in California and Wellington are late for their next appointment.

They sold my IPS to the largest (state owned) one in my country. So basically good bye 10gb internet speeds once my contract is up. Should have singed a 2 year extension before they fully moved...
