Anyone planning on watching the Melania movie? It officially releases tomorrow. I wont be watching it I feel sorry for her because its hard to imagine the movie doing well considering who she is married to and the current levels of anger towards Trump

Only issue I had was the Light Mode setting and I have now set that back to Dark Mode So its all good so far

Just finished my first playthrough, and had such a great time with it. The story pulled me in, the world design was varied and beautiful, and the combat vs speech options felt rewarding. Marisol and Valerie were my favourite companions. I really appreciated the way the ship and crew quarters could grow more personalised over time. Big fan! It would also be really, really cool to be able to sleep in the bed in the player's/captain's cabin cook up something in the galley like a "Homemade Meal" from crabmeat and/or apples etc , with the option for the crew to eat together, or save it for later (a small, temporary buff to health perhaps) have the pet also show up on the bridge or the main deck, randomly I appreciate there are probably reasons why the game is like it is, and not a million other ways. But personally I would have loved these features for furthering the immersion of the game.

I'm aware it's highly likely that might be his position again, but I would still be curious to see his thought process, in the face of evidence in front of his eyes.

for gd to give up they are all bad is an admitted heavy ask. his entire political identity is premised on the notion you should abandon voting democrat or republican. choose trump to prevent biden from becoming President or choosing harris instead o' trump is a deal with the devil and the americans will never see anything better from our government as long as people keep making the same pointless mistake. is a whole lotta self-described libertarians who feel as gd, and while we did not share his pov, we were sympathetic to it... up until muslim ban. gd didn't vote for trump like the maga faithful who see him as their savior from dei and the scourge of illegal immigration. gd didn't vote for rfk jr 'cause o' vaccines. gd didn't vote trump like so many relative indifferent voters who nevertheless continue to view trump as a successful businessman who could lower the cost o' groceries. gd ain't like the democrats who lost faith in the biden administration 'cause o' gaza or perceived weakness on the environment and voted trump or third party in protest. gd voted other 'cause he was certain that democrat v. republican is a no-win option, but he failed to recognize just how much a guaranteed loss a trump victory would be. gd were voting as a matter o' principle, may God have mercy on his soul.. post jan 6, we realized that they are all bad is a religious belief and not a political position. is gonna take a road to damascus event to convince gd that lesser of two evils is anything other than surrendering to evil. HA! Good Fun!

Its mainly my friend but he never posts issues that he comes across so I figured I would post it. He wont play it because of that reason so I hope Obsidian sees this.

I'll be watching DS9 in a few months for the first time since it aired. Be interested to see if I like it better.

So I 100%'ed the first Grounded game and loved every minute of it. In the first game I always had a bow on me for ranged attacks and sometimes for hunting food. In the second game I have not found myself using a bow anywhere near as much as I did for the first game and that is because its felt lack luster. It feels like I can't generate meaningful damage with a bow even if I use my upgraded great bow I would rather put it back in my inventory and use a melee weapon even with the new wasp drones. (if pollen arrows only work on some flying creatures just say that) I really feel not being able to block with the bow really hurt more than helped. I don't use it at all and if I try I end up dying in fights. I really hope they put parrying back onto the bows cause I have never felt the desire to zoom with the bow in either game. I hope they add this feature back from the first game. Right now my bow and arrows I worked decently hard to get feel like they just take up space in my inventory. I hope they make changes to the bow, with the new buggy I have the feeling of why use a bow at all with the new buggy with a water cannon that so much more effective

Hey @Sarex , There are actually a couple of solves for this. The first is that there is a system that carried over from the previous version where if you click the dot to the left of the thread link, it will take you to the first unread post. If you don't like that solution, you can also personalize how you see posts by clicking your Avatar icon at the top of the page and going to Account Settings. From there you can go to Content Preferences and set where you want to be taken when opening a thread I hope that helps!

Right. You talk to him the first time during the quest to help out with the negotiations. But after that (depending on what you did, and whether or not the delegates survived), when you go to Laplace's Garden on Cloister, he's there, and ideally, you speak with him before you meet Ruth for the first time. I missed speaking with him, but when I went to go meet Ruth initially, he was standing outside the doorway to her main space (the room with the sensory deprivation chamber in it); when I spoke to him there, he mentioned that he'd wanted to speak to me before "...but no matter" and I didn't experience the problem where Ruth forgets that she's already met you, etc. I've seen other people reporting issues with this quest and there's an actual issue for this here: https://outerworlds2.obsidian.net/issue-tracker#k3VX6b0a-if-you-try-to-do-the-quest-an-equitable-arrangement-without-speaking-to-vicar-laureate-alden-levin-you-may-get-stuck-ar-126703 -- this was supposed to have been fixed in patch 1.0.6.0. Though if it's still happening for people (that is, if the actual problem is that progression is broken if you don't speak to Levin before meeting Ruth the first time), it might either still be broken, or maybe it's still broken for specific platforms.

Another change I don't like (I'm assuming it's a change and not a bug) is that clicking on a thread no longer brings you to the first unread reply. That is very useful. I can live without the page numbers next to thread names, but I don't like that the only choice now is to navigate to the first page when clicking a thread and clicking the last page icon next to the thread name.
