Got all excited about the Beast Crest in Silksong and used a Memory Stone on it (i.e. expand it's capacity to carry Silksong's variation of Charms) only to find out that the heal-on-attack mode doesn't activate instantly. I mean sure, it is faster than binding your wounds normally, but not enough so considering that you need to attack something to heal up afterwards. Great idea, disappointing implementation. Devs probably wanted to make sure it won't lead to players being able to facetank bosses, but as it stands I don't see the value. Yet, perhaps. I don't know how many hit points one can get by the end of the game and how much you could heal with the Beast Crest in a protracted fight. It might just edge out the regular healing. With the beginning five masks? Yeah no.

Arrow Quiver – to avoid wasting multiple inventory slots when carrying different arrow types. Gear Loadouts – to quickly switch between classes (e.g., Ranger → Rogue), (armor, accessories, weapons, mutations). While also minimizing inventory slot usage for gear sets.

Armor Upgrades
Matt__AsA__Hatter replied to Greg Avila-Stanes's topic in Grounded 2: Feedback & Suggestions
There's a better chance of them adding in a transmog machine to let you just make one set of armor look like anything else. With the 'founders packs' that override a cosmetics look they can just implement a system where you put into a machine one set of armor that holds the image then wear whatever you want and your look wont change. That's how Abiotic Factor solved it so they could have Tiers of armor while still letting the players look however they wanted to. I also anticipate them selling other ones in the future too. It's easy money for companies to make now. -

They were not honest in IGN interview
Matt__AsA__Hatter replied to vX1nf1d3lXv's topic in Grounded 2: Feedback & Suggestions
I made a few attempts to give feedback. Got 0 responses too. The game is heading in a direction I'm not excited for. Tons of changes were made, and many of them are downgrades, and it doesnt seem like they care. It's a bit depressing, made me lose my hype for the game. And I'm nearing 1000 hours in the first one now, the sequel was something I'd dreamed about for a while. But not like this, not like this.- 3 replies

qol improvements Stacking meat
NukeGoose replied to Abare's topic in Grounded 2: Feedback & Suggestions
currently nothing with a spoil timer stacks, but that is one way to do it sure. but i was say some games if you have for instance a stack of 9 that has 30 seconds left, then make a new item with max time, then move the old stack onto the new item they all gain the timer of the new one. some games when the timer is done only 1 spoils, others the whole stack expires. they probably havent decided on a version that feels right. -

Friend pass pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
totallyradical posted a topic in Grounded: Feedback & Suggestions
Hey! I think it’d be awesome if Grounded 2 had a friend pass. Basically, if one person owns the game, their friends can join them for free. Since the game is all about co-op, it’d make it way easier to play together and probably get more people into it. Even if friends can only join but not host or save, it would still be super fun and a good way to bring new players in. :) -

I mean, this was an extremely obvious cash grab attempt that felt very insulting to players. Hearing this was a thing made me want to check out the game even less. My guess is that the pre-order sales numbers were so damn low that they decided it's not worth it and now move back on it. -
I started a new run where I aim to make my watcher a ranged single target dps guy by the endgame (Soulblade + Shattered Pillar, with the plan to use Chromoprismatic Quarterstaff + Instruments of Pain). I want a 2nd Tank to hold the line beside Edér, and I'm thinking about a human Steel Garrote + Streetfighter combo. The plan is to keep a dynamic balance of health right around the bloodied mark, but not sure if I could make it happen as I'm planning to, so I'm asking for your experiences. The plan would be to wear all the engagement gear: Reckless Brigandine + Kapana Taga + Last Word + Champion's Helm for most engagements (Akola's Apex Ward, Thaos' Headdress, Sungrazer and a number of other weapons also kept at hand). I would keep a reasonable CON, so being bloodied is less risky. Edér would be geared for deflection. He would also be supported by Herald healbot (troubadour + shieldbearer), with the possibility to also chant Old Siec Has anyone tried such a lifedrain tank? Can it actually survive on lifedrain in tougher encounters? Also is lifedrain affected by + healing done enchantments? Thanks for your answers

Dinner_Rollz started following Artisan Table
-
After crafting, and cooking everything you’ll get a mission for an Optic Disk. It allows you to buy the Artisan Table with one half for cooking and another half for crafting. You can make higher tier items and better foods with this Artisan Table, and if you upgrade it you can get an elixir station with it too. When you craft something you have a choice to do a puzzle to get a different quality item. The puzzles being a timed lock puzzle with a slider that goes back and forth, requiring you to press on the right material images in order. A puzzle where you have to move a ladybug to push snail shells in the right place; but also a slider with trash, bad, moderate, good, and perfect modifiers where the perfect part is changing shapes and randomly moving side to side as you try to click on it, with the bad modifiers become big as the good ones shrink, or the opposite. Sorry for any improper grammar, or confusions!

He's talking about Grounded not Grounded 2. Grounded needs an updated version for switch 2 players. Grounded Runs like **** on the switch 2. It's playable but it looks worst then playing on a Potato PC. The Oak Tree glitches out during the night and day cut scene cycle. Most of the Underground caves glitch out when you look around in them. Building placement feels glitched. The Switch 2 feels like it could run like a PC running on high settings but we got stuck with POTATO.

Nintendo Switch 2 Grounded Patch
radagastbron replied to xPabl1to's topic in Grounded: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
Game needs a patch but it feels like we'll never see one, which sucks. The Underground on the switch 2 isn't fun to be in. Most caves just loads and unloads then reloads as i'm trying to look around. The cut scene for night and day while sleeping you're lucky if the Oak tree decides to load right. Most of the time it's missing it's bottom ground parts and roots. The switch 2 is too fast for this current build of the Switch version. Nintendo needs to give dev kits to this team or this team needs to step it up. I really enjoy this game either way. I have it for Pc but would rather play on Switch/Switch2.- 9 replies
