  2. Well, it's just a football chant that for some reason is weaved with horrifyingly cloying song, but it's somewhat outbalanced by ladies being easy on the eyes. AIas, I don't have anything horrible saved right now, so here's something in Portuguese, which makes a song about angry frustrated miner sound like romantic serenade:
  3. Today
  4. Haven't been able to join or host a multiplayer game since launch. Was hoping with update 0.1.3 I'd be able to do something with multiplayer, but haven't had any luck at all. I've uninstalled and reinstalled both the game and xbox app individually thrice. I've verified game file integrity each time. I've unlinked and re-linked my xbox account to my steam account thrice. Anytime I try to join a multiplayer game, I get the following error. If I try to host a game, it infinitely creates a lobby. The one time I was able to actually host a game, it took 30 minutes to make the lobby, by which point I'd given up the ghost on playing that evening. I've not been given the option to login to a connected xbox account upon login, it just logs into steam as you'd expect. Subsequently, I'm unable to enable crossplay to attempt hosting/joining that way. I get the following error when I try to enable crossplay. At current there's only 2 things I can think would be causing the problem: 1) the xbox app and steam aren't communicating 2) I have to update my goddamn BIOS in order to make the game run. "Why would you have to update your BIOS?" you ask? That'd be on account of this lovely little popup I get anytime I launch the game I'm incredibly loathe to update my BIOS, considering the fact that this computer is less than 6 months old and updating BIOS is a task and a half that could brick my motherboard if something goes wrong. So if there's some other fix that anyone might have that doesn't involve me potentially bricking my motherboard, I would be most appreciative.
  5. Yes hello I love the game. I have a few ideas, one of them are if your riding your buggy you should beable to access the storage instead of jumping off and access in it..and if your building a house you shouldn’t be Limited access your storage when it comes down to building things. Bec it’s kinda annoying building something in rage then have to lug it all the way on the other side of what I’m building.. BUT BESIDES THAT ITS A SLM AROUND GRATE GAME WHEN J WAS A LIL KID I ALWAYS WANTED TO PLAY GAME LIKES THIS ONE . I can’t wait for the updates bec there’s things that I need tge leave 3 monitors for I read online that you can’t make it till the next update unfortunately.. ps if I have any more ideas and I most definitely will lol but ya will post them. Thank yall for a grate game
  6. For 0.1.2, I was able to run high graphic and 120 FPS. For 0.1.3, I can't run at the lowest graphics and FPS settings. My game works for 2-10 sec burst then freezes for 5-15 sec on loop. PC, Windows 10 (22H2), AMD 5 7600X, GTX 1080 (8GB), 32GB Ram
  7. Since you already have a paladin in your party I would go with a trickster/soul blade instead. WotEP does great damage with SA against multiple targets and vs single enemies you can switch to Sun and Moon + Tuotilo's Palm/Best Defense for great dps because you can spam SA.
  8. This will be my last week of work before undergoing back surgery this coming Tuesday. I've been waiting almost 5 long years to be rid of this pain that returned when a distracted teen plowed into me with daddy's truck an hour before New Years Day 2020.

  9. Yes, If your backpack if full and you switch to your Omni-Tool, you will lose the item you were holding. I've lost countless items now.
  10. Legendary recipes that split up the crafted parts would be great. E.g. Stave... shaft, head piece, magical element. Each 3 parts come from 3 legendary recipes. Each part needs a vast amount of resources, e.g. 100 candy for the magical element. This would be great to have not just your weapon, but clothes plus artifact. A full build of legendary armour that would take weeks of gameplay to craft. This way the best gear in the game is a time investment, not just a youtube/google search to find the best weapons by simply going to a location to get it.
  11. When crafting recipes for armour and weapons for your archetype, e.g mage, and do 200 kills to unlock your mutation for the build. It would be great to also open a skill tree similar to those from Avowed, however will a lot of progression needed. Either science currency + number of kills e.g. 250, 300, 350, for each skill/perk point. This would add more deeper customisation in your build types whilst hunting down more science points and have another sink to put them in. I love Avoked and would be great to bring in some perk from that game too to add to the create start of archetypes in Grounded. And when unlocking a skill/perk point, a storyline would update to take to the computer to find out about skill trees.
  12. I finally managed to get in, although I had to do it via a back door method. They started sending me occasional spam e-mails, and one of them let me do a sign in. Good grief.
  13. New build out, new list added to the workbook. Each build has its own page. Moving forward, since you likely already have most of these in the DB, I'll just leave notes and if you need more details, let me know.

  16. Following on from the same suggestion I left in Grounded. I love the class armors but would like to use progression on all armors some start at tier 1 when they unlock, but then with upgrade rocks and bug parts make it tier 2 then 3 etc. this way people can wear what ever armor they like for there style but they upgrade the same with some different abilities. Example of Mage armor Acorn armor: Tier 1 - can be upgraded all the way to Tier 5 via story progression and will require more parts as it goes along with then certain abilities that can only be used with this type. Lady Bug armor: Starts at Tier 2 but the level would be the same as an upgrade Tier 2 Acorn armor and level the same but for different look and abilities. The main difference in stats then would be the classes only with Tank having more health etc and Archers more speed. Thoughts?
  17. Lets start by examining the current systems Weapon Types: Dual Wield (Slashing/Pierce) - needs a blunt style, like boxing gloves made out of stone/sap Bow (Pierce) - has elemental arrows and such to solve issues Staffs - has all elements to work with 1 hand (Slashing/Blunt/Piercing) - has one of everything 2 hand (Slashing/Blunt) - needs a piercing style, 2 hand spear that cannot be thrown, like a weed stem with something attached to it Classes: Rogue: Uses Dual Wield Ranger: Uses Bows Mage: Uses Staffs Warrior: Uses 1 hand weapons with shield So who is to use the 2 hand weapons? There should also be a class that is focused around them. Possibly a Barbarian of sorts. Mutations for Weapons: Lil Fist - Works with NO weapons Assassin - Works with ALL Dual Wield (Daggers and Sickles) Sharpshooter - Works with ALL Bows Whittle Wizard - Works with ALL Staffs Smasher - Works with Blunt weapons Javelineer - Works with Spears Blademaster - Works with Swords Problem: What this means to someone playing is that if you are a Rogue, Ranger or Mage player then there is only 1 choice for what to pick to get benefits from all weapon options. Where as if are a Warrior you must instead choose to do 1 hand weapons with a shield or a 2 hand playstyle and you also must choose between the 3 options of Smasher, Javelineer, and Blademaster. Suggestion: Lean into what you did with actual classes. You already have paired up the Rogue, Ranger and Mage. Split the Warrior into 2 seperate classes that have their own identity as a Fighter type with 1 hand with a shield and a Barbarian type that does the 2 hand weapons. Adjust the Mutations a bit so they pair with a class instead of a weapon type. Blademaster could stay and be only for 1 hand weapons. Keep Javelineer and let it also be for 1 hand weapons to motivate people to do a thrown weapon style of play if they choose to. Then put Smasher into 2 hand weapons and possibly come up with another choice for them too. The names would likely have to change but their functions could stay the same. Blademaster > Stami-Master, Javelineer > Relfecter, Smasher > Stunner, just the first things that popped to mind. If you give 1 hand weapons 2 choices, you could give all players more than one way to build with their desired weapons. Dual wield could absorb Lil Fist or could have bleed or poison instead of just crit. Mages could do more hit based damage instead of scaling the elemental effects. Rangers could maybe do bleed with the bows via mutation, or also more crit like dual wield. There's tons of options I could ramble about and plenty to choose from to give the players more choices in how they want their class to work.
  18. Grass stairs to a door seems to have some issues with getting stuck unable to go through the door. Have to jump to get in the door.. doesn't happen every time, but enough to be annoying.
  19. I have the same issue.. they finally infreeze then freeze a couple of seconds later, then it runs ok for a while.
  20. Went to retrieve the mount and an orb weaver spawned instead of my mount. Rather annoying after waiting an in game day.
  21. Hi All, So I'm nearing 100% on my current Devoted/Tricster + Willbreaker run (Dorudungan, Auranic and Ukaizo left), and it was a pretty fun build, and I enjoyed it a lot, but I was stuck with a single weapon for the entire playthrough. Obviously comming back to Deadfire again I want more I'm planning to play WoTeP for the first time on my watcher (did some trickster/garrote run up to like lvl 10 or so, but was unimpressed with it). My idea is to not rely solely on WoTeP. I'm plannig to: - start the fights I can from stealth with a double FoD from The Red Hand (hopefully triggering inspiring triumph too) - then switch to WoteP without reloading, already with some focus to Soul Anihilate - for big solo bosses I'm planning to use The Willbreaker + modal and desintegrate Stat allocation is pretty rough for this build: needs near max RES, INT with high PER and at least some might and dex, but I guess that'll be managable. Probably gonna have a buddy chanter (or two). Not 100% sold on Steel Garrote yet, late game a Trickster multiclass would probably be stronger, but I just played trickster. I honestly have very little experience with WoTeP, but considering how stretched on stats this build is going to be, a 2nd tanky character is probably in order. I usually have Edér, but it is kinda boring to have him on literally the same build every playthrough, so this time I might go for a different companion cast from my trusty Edér + Seer + Wildrhymer + Herald (full healbot). Was thinking about covering heals with a Kind Wayferer + Troubadour built offensively and spamming buffed FoDs (although might compete with the Watcher for ring of inner fire, but I guess I can live with that). Add a tactician/priest for buffs and emergency heals and also some damage output. The kind wayfarer could use Grave Calling to kill of some skeletons to spawn chill fog for easy Brilliant Tactician trigger too (or just have the watcher cast Phantom Foes). As for the rest of the party, I'm not set on yet. Maybe a Troubadour/Psion, as I never played Psion and some high range autoattacker to interrupt casters. I usually use Spearcaster on a Wildrhymer for that, but since I want to change it up... maybe a Frostseeker using savage (arcane archer/mage slyer). Aim is the same, POTD with all megabosses. Could this work? I'm normally worried about WoTeP builds vs the big endgame boss fights, but maybe this build would still be flexible enough to do well in the toughest encounters.
  22. So I fixed the problem, and this was it: Since I had install POE _after_ other games, I already had a %USERPROFILE%/Saved Games folder, so it used %USERPROFILE%/Saved Games/Pillars of Eternity to save its games. On the NEW machine, POE was the FIRST game I ever installed, so %USERPROFILE%/Saved Games did NOT exist yet. Thus, it created a saved games folder in a different place: %USERPROFILE%/Documents/My Games/Pillars of Eternity I followed these steps: Step 1: after installing POE fresh on a new machine, play it and create a save Step 2: exit POE, and search for the save file (not in AppData, in your user profile) Step 3: once you verify that the save folder is being used, copy your files over to that directory Step 4: restart POE and your games will appear under a "v PLAYERNAME" entry which you will click to expand it, your games should be there! Once I had saved a new game, and located the new game that I had saved, then verified that fact, I easily located it (and after being tipped off in reddit discussion to the fact). I moved my other saves into that folder, and it now WORKS just fine. Still cant find it? I also got a tip that some people with differing language locales might get folders named for that language "My Games" might be whatever that is in your operating system's locale if it isn't english-us, so be sure to look. Don't worry about APPDATA (aka Application Data) It seems the Local and LocalLow did not make a difference except for during runtime as tempfiles(?) so maybe those dont need to be worried about. Thanks for enduring my impatience.
  23. Game autosaves before you try to pick up the ice sickles. When you do many scopians attack. Playing on PC and my son on his Xbox Series X. (co-op crossplay) When the fight starts, the game crashes mid way through the ice sickles warming up. We tried looting each scorpian body to see if it helped which it did, but getting close to the sickles warming up, it crashed again. This is the first bug blocker that I've got in the game.
  24. usa threatening 200 percent tariff over rare earth guess trade war is back on the menu
  25. Sugababes? I'd sledgehammer the PC, and that is coming from me who unironically enjoys Eurodance trash.
  26. If you see that small little dot at the bottom, left of Dubrovnik, you would in fact realize how generous the Croats are.
  27. So nobody figured this out huh? A friend and I were trying to resolve this, but we couldn't figure it out (and we are both software engineers). It seem neither the file tree, registry, nor special locations work. The above instructions on the so-called fix are kinda vague so we couldn't adopt those either for us. I was gonna buy this game but I think nah, not when I can't be sure I won't lose my progress at any moment and zero ways to back it up. Its a darn shame because I kinda like this game but I guess I'll just have to toss it to my "would've played except for that ONE thing" pile. :3 Hopefully some day they will care enough to fix this issue. Examples of things we've tried: * Transfering EVERYTHING that was referenced by the game. Namely the files in "Saved Games" and in "AppData/*". * Exporting the original registry entries from the source machine and importing them into the new machine. * Copying save games after initial save on new machine, giving the filename the same name as what is being replaced, in an effort to try to "trick" the it into reading the backup save game * Copying the entire Documents AppData and Game directory structure to the new machine as-is * Installing two copies on two new OS installs and comparing their contents of the two systems to see where the missing data is. I can only imagine at this point, as a developer, that the game itself uses the OS's UUIDs internally to create, access, and save games OR it puts them some place nobody would expect. After all, it seems to have saved games in 3 or 4 different places with no certainty on which ones are actually being read when they are loaded which kinda defeats the point of having extra saves, right? Hope someone fixes this someday. Hope posting this saves you the trouble of doing this yourself.
