  4. Thank you, Obsidian and Grounded 1/2 Team!!! Just want to start off by saying I love grounded 1 and a longtime fan and love grounded 2's direction. You guys are killing it so far and would love to get the chance to talk to the developers. I mean it when I say I don't know what other developers are doing these days, but you all are killing it in a good way. Thank you for the wonderful experience and fun times your company has given me and my friends / family. I want to jump right in and offer some solutions to some of what I consider easy to fix issues currently in Grounded 2. Gear Buff Adjustments: need to change fighter's gear buff to increase damage with 2 handed weapons by 10-20% and/ or stagger bonus and/or attack speed Add a new gear buff to equipment for tanks called tank and give it the same buff fighter has right now Javelineer Mutation changes: The Javelineer mutation is a bit wonky, I would change it to increase damage of thrown and normal spear damage by 10/20/30% and you get a buff from hitting an enemy 3 times that says, "when a spear is thrown it will return to the players hand" this could be the Rank 3 mastery buff. - because the current buff giving you recoil damage makes no sense you are encouraging the player to get hit in order to deal damage back to the attacker if you wanted to fix it make it damage on block so that way the player can emulate more of a spartan build using the shield and spear which is probably what was intended in the first place. Dagger Definition Fix: for daggers and fist weapons dash attack needs to be on a dash and then attack or change the name to charged attack as that is what you're doing currently. Ex) On black widow set it says dash attack applies venom Omni tool Fix: the omni tool should probably be a late unlocked item like 70% through the game and this would fix it entirely. if you unlocked this after beating a boss (like the Broodmother in Grounded 1 or any boss) then it would feel amazing to create it and give the player a huge convenience tool that was earned instead of just giving it as a free hand out. currently it doesn't feel good to gather anymore gets rid of the player feedback on emulating cutting down grass, smashing a hammer now your just hold e and this kills immersion. Upgrading the Omni tool feels tedious to gather all the necessary parts right off the bat and it's a lot for players to take in when the first introduction to gathering is just use this op tool and go gather with it. I think a better solution is to lock it behind story line as this would make it feel more rewarding and have a better sense of progression. like when you play a Zelda game and unlock the slingshot or boomerang etc. after beating a storyline boss. Toggle buttons for Sprinting / Crouch: Toggle button for sprinting and crouching since the new weapon daggers and the ambush mutation rely on the new sneaking mechanic. When traveling with the mounts toggling the sprint feels a lot better than holding it down as they are used for long distance travel.
  5. I have run into a recurring issue while gathering weed stems. Sometimes, but not always, when I break a dandelion, no weed stems or tufts are dropped. The stem falls and goes through the "burst" animation, but no resources are dropped (and they aren't just stuck in/on nearby grass). Every time this has happened, I was chopping the dandelion down with an ant buggy, although it does not occur every time a dandelion is broken down with the buggy. I have not experienced this bug while using the omni-tool.
  6. When shared world is enabled non-host players are unable to use keys to exit menus or equip items. If a player dies when this happens, they will lose whatever "weapon" they had equipped. I have recently just lost the stranger shield due to this is am unable to reach a save before this issue occurred. Also, there is no way for a non-host player to equip a torch on a buggy unless they already have it equipped when they jump on the buggy. Also issues with shimmering and eating mushrooms cause the shaders to go insane for whatever reason. Tangential to that why doesn't v bring out a torch on the buggy anymore? It only brings up the toolbar wheel and there is no key binding to even have it on a different button. This also makes using a torch on buggies even worse due to this fact. Any way to retrieve lost items or will you make crafting strangers weapons a thing to have a slight work around this bug?
  7. Hubby *did* use sunscreen if we were going to be at the beach/lake wearing almost nothing all afternoon or something, we'd always pack some for those trips, but that's the only time I recall him doing it. We did grow up during the time where most retail sunscreens were stinky, oily, sticky, or the white stuff. Negative associations. I personally tend to have high skin (and smell) reactions to some things, even so-called hyper-allergenic, and generally avoid ANYTHING on my face or hands for more than 5 minutes. Legs are ok for unscented lotions. In my older age I've been considering buying a sun parasols (more deco looking non-rain umbrella) if I decide to go outside more often one day. Could double as a walking stick. >.> I see articles talking about how they look older than their age. Although in some cases that's because of too much plastic surgery perhaps. which is a whole nother topic. Some of it all is simply changing social/age perception of what an age "should look like" too, which includes how fashion/hair affects perception as well - which is becoming warped ever more, imo, because of plastic surgery and social media/tv. Also, in terms of online - all those live app/software filters. Not just the OTP ones, but more subtle. They're crazy these days.
  8. I do as well. Only have a small starter base(dont really plan on going big until more options are available) but I have 2 grass blades that grow right through the foundation. I did originally cut them down all the way before building there.
  9. If they make their sole living reviewing (vs. random influencer ranting), they are generally expected to try giving the "masses" an idea if they would consider a film worth their time to watch. "So bad it's good" isn't, imo, a "masses" type of thing to view as being favorable in some quirky way. That's more niche. And what is "good" about "bad" is very hard to define. So I do understand them. --So Bad It's Good (usually viewed with some level of humorous or nostalgic affection), also just imo, is not the same as A Movie You Love to Hate ("majority" doesn't even find it humorous), although sometimes a film can certainly be seen as both/cross borders. I think WotW/2025 falls more firmly into the latter category, which is why it's getting such viscous blowback online vs. falling into almost immediate "eh, another bad movie" obscurity. The fact it's a giant Amazon/Prime ad doesn't help. I do wonder why Amazon, after having the film on the shelf for so long, decided to run it vs forever-binning. I guess they had savvy ppl who realized massive high view counts re: trainwreck-curiousity might be almost as good as high view count for artistic accolades. (more likely some legal obligation or consideration). Note: I didn't ever go back to watch past that first quarter hour. I've liked a lot of why-am-I-still-watching stuff others might think is awful, so no judgement re: likes or dislikes - but for me, definitely not worth my time to even find out. I didn't like so-bad-it's-good Sharknado or WickerMan or some others, either. Heh.
  10. Before the upcoming Trump/Putin meeting various rumors are flying as to potential cease-fire terms. Unsurprisingly permanent peace is not likely, but diplomatically there are first signs of optimism in a long time. We will soon see if this is serious or only a elaborate blame-game.
  11. After completing the mixer quest saved for last. The only quest I had left. Now I have no orc bugs spawning at all. Is this a bug or not.
  12. Additionally, while I'm on my Orb Weaver, other Orb Weaver's should IGNORE ME like the red ants do while I'm riding "Antie" the red soldier ant.
  13. If we could say drop to the park floor from the park bench via the Orb Weaver spinning a "drop line" from the edge of the bench ledge and we drop down to the floor of the park with a silk rope spun by the orb weaver.. that'd be the bee's knee's right now as I consider jumping off the edge with a glider not in hand. Just a thought since spiders DO kind of do that, like, a lot. Like, ALL THE TIME! And there should be jumping spider's too. And i HOPE I get to House TRAIN A BLACK WIDOW omg ! that'd be fun

  15. Same thing happened to me. I share a world with my brother and died 6 times trying to get a red soldier ant egg for each of us and a big Northern scorpion followed us home and recked our base. I log back on and my buggy is gone but his buggy is not gone. I tried to load an old save but nothing. I really need a save because I can’t die again trying to get another egg. Update: after the new update me and my brother played again and got another red soldier ant egg after another 3 deaths and hatched but (on mild difficulty) my new ant was downed and disappeared and I tried calling him but all it said was not available and after 30 real world minutes nothing. So we disconnected and reconnected and my was gone and left nothing but my brothers was still there. Will there be a fix to this bug in the future because I might stop playing if we can’t use the buggy system.
  16. I'm a dwarf guy Will see how the mask goes with various equipment, and how it performs in combat. I picked up Helm of the Falcon on my way to steal the Willbreaker, guess I'm heading to The Gullet soon enough for the mask. Also gave myself Thaos' Headdress with the console, so that'll be a pretty good choice too.
  17. If you go with Reckless Brigandine: as headgear I'd recommend the White Witch Mask then. It looks good with the tribal-looking brigandine imo, it gives your illusions a +1 power level boost and it can cast Ryngrim's Rep. Visage for you 1/rest (automatically if you drop below 50% health). While this combo looks a bit weird on most races it fits super well for a "Mataru" themed character (so any type of Huana Warrior) imo. I don't know, dabateable. If you really like the weapon then bringing it to legendary makes sense. But I personally often don't even bring my favorite weapons up to superb and they usually work well enough. But if the rest of your party isn't very reliant on weapons and/or weapon quality (because they use mostly spells, have a weapon that comes superb or legandary or use soulbounds or summoned weapons) then I will def. bring my few favorites up to legendary (or even mythic).
  18. I would like there to be a rare type of gnat or aphid (special color maybe) you can tame and if you bring it around with you, it can retrieve arrows within a decent range, including the ones that have fallen beneath the map. Not being able to pick up those arrows is driving me nuts. While they could let regular aphids and gnats gather arrows, I think it would be more fun for there to be some rare versions of pets to find that have some sort of extra perk. (While it would be better for the arrow to just not fall through the map, even Grounded 1 never fully fixed that glitch.)
  19. I've also been hit by this, tested a total of 3 times. Definitely worth fixing due to the limited science amount.
  20. My wolf spiders finally respawned after 30-40 in game days and there legs are all freaky. It feels like a horror movie.
  21. I do understand that the game is in game preview and ive played through every single update in the magnificent Grounded 1, but ive noticed that theres no quarter corner pieces for roofing, that has lead my buildings to look odd, please try to add a quarter corner roof peice it would be amazing.
  22. After cycling through a million different builds, I finally came to stick with Devoted + Trickster with The Willbreaker. Planning to play it something like this: stealth for the initial backstab strike (Clear Out eventually), debuff will, cast Ryngrym's, hopefully get some disengagement hits if the enemy attempts to flee. I wanted to have more damage without disengagement than an Unbroken and The Willbreaker synergizes nicely with a trickster. Probably not an OP build or anything of sorts, but I don't enjoy playing the truly OP stuff so much, so going with this for now Already snuck into Crookspur for the stick, so probably gonna play this build a while, before rerolling to another one Now, I haven't played Deadfire in a couple of years, so I can't really remember all the best gear. What would you recommend I pick up for this build? Apparently I messed up with my custom history, so I don't have Thaos's Headdress, but I kinda sorta prefer the Helm of the Falcon anyway. Still sucks not having the headdress, it is one of the nicer helms, especially that I have Edér also as a fighter/rogue. What armor goes best with such character? Devil of Caroc? Reckless Brigandine? I picked up Cloak of Greater Protection, seems to be a pretty nice cloak for now. Iirc there was a cloak that gave extra damage from stealth, but honestly I might be mixing up gear pieces in my head with PoE1 items Not sure which was in which game anymore Also a question on The Willbreaker's upgrades: is it worth spending the 4 Adra Bans on making it legendary? Iirc you couldn't get unlimited Adra Bans, and there are some special upgrade items to certain tiers (after the dragon fight I think there is one).
