  2. I kinda get it from a creative standpoint. It would be like making a movie and then having people want an option to remove parts they don't like. Not a perfect example but i could see people wanting their creation to be experienced as intended.
  3. Today
  4. I've been getting the pop-up that the steward has a letter for me, but she will not talk to me about it. However, she does have a discussion topic about what I think would be the siege of Cragholdt since she mentions Concelhaut. However, I can't actually start any quests for the white march, even though I have the headings for them inside my journal. I am on GOG and tried a fresh install, but it did not help. I know other people have had this problem, but it seems like all of them had it fixed by doing that. Does anyone have any ideas? https://drive.google.com/file/d/1GKOTAWOpBcnJ7kos-X7vRJKjT9bH4KbN/view?usp=sharing - save game https://drive.google.com/file/d/13cebnepE1VMARdyI8bAY02224XlI1nJ1/view?usp=sharing - log
  5. It's not available to the public yet. You have to access the public test. Download the Xbox Insider Hub app and access previews.
  6. Yeah I have a MSI motherboard as well but ASUS RTX 5090 on a AMD 9950X3D.
  7. Seems to align with my experience. 1. Primary , consists of 7800X3D on a MSI X670E Tomahawk with a MSI 5090 on a 1440p ultrawide monitor. 2. Secondary, consists of 7700X on a MSI Pro B650-P with a Zotac 4090 on a 4K TV. I did a quick test some time ago with the earlier 580.88/.97 GR drivers to see if I can replicate the GPU Crash Dump. Was able to load a Shared World save and play for a bit without any crashes. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  8. I use Afterburner because I undervolted the 4070 TI in the past, but I kept running into stability issues with Everspace 2 (no other game though, weirdly enough, Cyberpunk 2077 ran stable with all bells and whistles enabled), so I dropped it and just went with 85% power target instead. If you install the new nVidia app which no longer requires registration and a login, you can use that to set the power target. You really need to make sure it leaves your game settings alone though.
  9. That is one of those annoying things that make me certain developers aren't gamers: Let me disable the unfun things and enjoy your game.
  10. That's what I keep hearing and considering it's the anorexic version of the cooler it will probably be the first thing I do. Edit: do you use 3rd party software for this (afterburner) or via powershell?
  11. Just set the power target to 85%. If the 5070 TI is anything like the 4070 TI you'll end up with 95% of the performance for a lot less power drawn.
  12. Hello Obsidian Team, First off, thank you for creating such an amazing and unique survival experience with Grounded. The game runs smoothly for me during normal exploration and combat, where I can maintain stable performance at around 60 FPS. However, I’ve noticed a major issue whenever I interact with menus such as: • Hotpouch / Quick Slots • Inventory • Building Menu • Other UI Overlays (map, crafting, etc.) Whenever I switch to these menus, my FPS suddenly drops from stable 60 to as low as 48–40 FPS, making it feel extremely sluggish and unresponsive. This is surprising because combat, exploration, and even larger fights with multiple insects do not cause performance problems — only the menus do. From my perspective as a player, it feels like: • UI elements (icons, textures, blur effects, transparency) might be causing high GPU/VRAM or CPU spikes. • The rendering pipeline for menus may not be as optimized as the 3D world. Because of how often menus are used, these performance drops break immersion and can even affect gameplay in tense situations. Suggestions • Optimize UI rendering so menus don’t create sudden FPS drops. • Pre-cache or compress menu assets (icons, thumbnails) to reduce VRAM spikes. This issue was never fixed in Grounded 1 and should be addressed in Grounded 2.
  13. **Title:** Multiplayer Desync / Drop Issues – Still a Problem in 2025 Hey everyone, My family and I love *Grounded* — the building, the discovery, the backyard ecosystem. Tiny people and big bugs! But one long-standing issue keeps us from really enjoying longer co-op sessions: the **multiplayer drop/sync bug**. Even with stable internet, even on LAN, players randomly disconnect, which makes it hard to play together consistently. For us, *Grounded* is extra special because it’s how I connect with my ND kid — games are our shared hyperfocus time, and sometimes we include my partner too. When the sync bug kicks in, it breaks that groove and makes it harder to keep the vibe going. As we progress in the game, very quickly — 5–10 minutes — it becomes the limit of play before disgruntled feelings kick in. I know the game has reached its “final” update, but this bug is still a major hurdle for families and groups who want to enjoy it in co-op. If it’s not possible to patch, it would be amazing if Obsidian could either: - Offer a small stability fix, - Provide **modding tools / community support** so the player base can help, or - Even consider **opening it to the open-source community** (under an appropriate license, like MIT or GPL) so fans can work on resolving the issue. Looking ahead, we’d absolutely love to see a *Grounded 2*. If multiplayer stability is improved in a sequel, it would be an instant purchase for us. *Honestly, I’m ready to buy 3 licenses right now if it means we can play globally without drops.* Thanks for listening — curious if others are still running into this too.
  14. UNGA assembly speeches often have a history of being populist, cringe and sensationalized Remember the speeches from Mugabe and Chavez directed towards George Bush and calling him the Devil
  15. I was wondering if there was an ETA on when the Xbox Gear shop for Obsidian Entertainment was going to be ready? I'm interested in getting a hat with the Obsidian Entertainment insignia or shirt - for context I enjoy collecting hats from my favorite studios as a game developer myself.
  16. Hi obsidian. Please release the outer worlds 2 physical copy complete on 1 or 2 discs without requiring internet download for PS5/ Xbox series x
  17. What is your hardware setup? Im curious if its a RTX 50xx issue because I have friends that play with AMD GPU's and dont have these issues.
  18. Thank you obsidian, I am a returning player as played the beta version of the first Grounded. Your build mechanics have came a long way! I would love to see more progress on the placement and sensitivity when placing build blueprints. As a returning player it’s easy to see the progress from the first grounded to grounded 2. I look forward to what is to come!
  19. Parked my last Stellaris game after I basically won (Galactic Emperor, smacked the Contingency, and enough fleet power to walk over anyone who even looked at me funny). Almost thought I managed to make the Unbidden spawn, but seems Ultima Vergilis just is being ominous when you already beat the crisis, shame. Started a new game and since I usually turtle I figured I'd force myself into early combat by going at is as a Driven Exterminator Gestalt Consciousness. Only to spawn between two Fallen Empires and another Driven Exterminator. Great. Also ended up running into some major Trade deficit issues because I'm not familiar with how to play machines, so ended up mostly turtling anyway while I figured out/fixed my economy. At that point one of the Fallen Empires decides to awaken, and since I can't handle them in a fair fight I build up fortress systems and fleets like mad and shelve any plans for wanton galactic murder sprees. Aaaand then Cetana decides to spawn, obliterating the FE(s), taking some of my (fortified) systems with her and then just basically ruining the rest of the game (as far as I'm concerned). All the research options for the crisis end up outside my borders, so unless I want to fight a whole load of wars to get to them I have no access to them. So I have content myself with nabbing her transports, trying to get somewhere with the situation that way. Unfortunately she somehow goes hostile before she declares war somehow, despite me having "good" rep (bug?) and just "removes" some of my biggest fleets (not even combat, just dialogue and *poof* fleet gone...). Once she finally does declare war I try beelining her with everything I have left but just get smacked like a fly. She, herself, has 1.5m fleet power, and the rest of the crap in the system she hides in counts for another million or so, even before losing a bunch of ships to bs I managed only like half that. AI doesn't even try to deal with her, like at all, unlike every other crisis where at least they can act as a distraction. Might as well be alone in the galaxy for this one, and can't rely on Fallen Empires to do, well ... anything as she just outright murders them with a 100% guarantee when she spawns. This is also where I learned you can't disable a specific crisis, you can pick a specific one, but you can't say "give me any random one, except for that one", which is annoying as from what I've seen I don't think I want her in most of my games (but I don't necessarily want to disable the whole DLC) as she seems ridiculously over-tuned compared to every other crisis (and I just generally dislike things being on timers like this).

  21. I can't find the Harry and scary update on my xbox. Please help!!! I have deleted and redownloaded it multiple times.
  22. Bit I was referring to probably isn't that bad upon thinking again "And I have to say, I look at London where you have a terrible mayor, a terrible, terrible mayor and it's been so changed, so changed. Now they want to go to Sharia law, but you're in a different country, you can't do that. Both the immigration and their suicidal energy ideas will be the death of Western Europe if something is not done immediately. This cannot be sustained. What makes the world so beautiful is that each country is unique, but to stay this way, every sovereign nation must have the right to control their own borders. You have the right to control your borders, as we do now, and to limit the sheer numbers of migrants entering their countries and paid for by the people of that nation that were there and that built that particular nation at the time. They put their blood, sweat, tears, money into that country, and now they're being ruined." Rest of the speech sure was something though. https://www.rev.com/transcripts/trump-speaks-at-un

  24. I dont know how this could happen but I really would like an opportunity to design some gear/merch for grounded 2. I have a lot of idea.. especially since it has a lot of iconic 80s hints in it... (I see those hare jordan 7s max is wearing).. im very into fashion and im actually a windows stylus for a large company.I just want to follow my passion and design something.. Grounded 2 would be a great opportunity, especially for a game love playing by myself and with my daughter
