I have decided to make an important and strategic change with my companions in LoreRim, I have left Viconia at an Inn and I have recruited 2 new female companions, Katana and Remiel Both these new companions are part of LoreRim and they very extensive, they have several side-quests and hundreds of lines of dialogue Viconia is a mod I added and she is limited in things apart from the same dialogue, combat skills and some sexlab options Katana has very interesting bounty hunter quests and is a good stealth asset Remiel is hilarious, she never stops talking and always has something to say. She is a Dwemer expert and she has already made a spider construct to help in combat called Scratch I also have a dog called Meeko Whats interesting is none of these 3 new companions is unbalancing combat and they get defeated more in combat than Viconia use to by herself. This must have something to do with how these are official LoreRim mods But by recruiting them I added a much more lively and interactive gaming experience for my travels and of course more quests

The TV and Streaming Thread: That's Entertainment!

Also liked the new Kevin Hart a lot. This weekend my son made us sit through 4 movies in The Dog Who Saved series. Do not recommend. Also, and completely unrelated, I made everyone sit through Sister Act. Way less singing and songs than I remembered. It was like halfway through the movie before the first nun jam. -
Yeah, same issue on my front after trying @Mirole's fix (I'd already opened the elevator and similar/ all other ones I could find elsewhere. Huge bummer. (I feel like being a badass who can choose to not give one faction leverage by asking for their reinforcements while being a talker who wants to unite the AC and the smarty-pants folk isn't a crazy direction...) Seems like an easy fix too - not like it changes the story outcome in any meaningful way. To reiterate as a completionist: Huge. bummer.

Finished all the KCD2 DLC. Warhorse definitely has a pattern with DLC (not great). Shield painting DLC. By far the worst, just quest pack essentially. The reward is being able to get your shield painted... I dont use shields so really doesn't matter. The KCD equivalent would be the "band of bastards" which was also a quest pack... although I found that one more interesting than this. Blacksmith DLC. Something to spend your money on. Tedious blacksmithing quests... upgrading blacksmith forge so you can upgrade it more. I enjoyed the blacksmithing so I like this one. KCD equivalent would be the rebuilding a town DLC. I like the blacksmithing so I prefer KCD2 DLC, but if you don't... the town was less hands on. Monestary DLC. It was fine. It's a whole new area to discover... lots of sneaking to find something, sneak back report, sneak to find new thing. The twist was fairly obvious from the start... was definitely not surprised. Basically there is a plague and you gotta find out where the plague started... except the monestary is locked down so you have to sneak. Felt a little dumb that you're working for the doctor but not allowed to investigate... the whole sneaking part seemed thrown in there so it's more difficult... otherwise it would be talk to this guy grab this thing talk to this guy rinse repeat. Also the DLC bugged so I had to sneak out of the monestary even though I saved everyone and got the best ending. If I get caught, failed DLC, if I didn't... im a hero! KCD equivalent would be "a woman's lot" which was much better in my opinion. You got to play as a new character (a woman) and it added context to the overall story. Just like the first game. The DLC was pretty hit and miss. So maybe there is a pattern for warhorse of good game, meh DLC. Now I am super overpowered for the main quest

Not the dog too! The Roses I thought is was pretty good and it had me laughing in several parts. Small twists to the 1989 version. Kevin Hart: Acting My Age I like him as an actor and comedian and this one hit me right in the funnybone. -
For people who do not have friends and only prefer to play the offline version, it's actually boring to play it without a human NPC companion. An NPC that can cheer you up, talk with you, and give you praise and reactions to something you do. Developers, please put at least some human NPCs, a type, and npc that can become my companion, not just an insect or animal, but a human, and the other types a friendly and stay around the the village to help you fight the insects that come. At least put a small village where I can go interact with some NPCs. I will buy the game even if it is expensive if you put these features. I want to experience the feelings similar to the mocie calleed Arthur and the movie called the bugs life.

Black Geyser Untagged spoilers below. Armour. I guess, the developers tried and just do not understand how armour works. Or they could have leaned into it and add spikes and a whip. A somewhat better armour, though the elf would not be able to sit without piercing her legs with it. Gods' Chosen/10. I have tried to get a better coat of arms. (While playing as a Rillow) The Rillow suck and my god is bigger than yours. No option to say that the "main" god is trash, though. Elyx got back up one more time to say hi. Incredibly dedicated guards - they question me even after death. The "men" were not at ease. The time did not stop and the infinite guards offed a "plot-critical character". Attempt #1. The explosion, apparently, was delayed. Attempt #2. Got softlocked later on. The only way to avoid the boss was ~5 hours ago. Mistakes were made. It is the only time when the phrase is spoken (and once in the codex), as far as I can tell. The PC took too much after his mother, I suppose. The bodyguards are ignoring the matriarch being killed. Attempt #3. Successful. I cannot quite recall if the giant zombies were friendly in the previous playthrough. And the bane of this playthrough (alongside the loading times, but can't take a screenshot of those), the tooltips. I was very creative with the names, I know.

If use the respec option after the prologue It seems if you add or remove the Innovative trait with the respec option all crafting recipes that you had in the prologue are no longer in the crafting menu. This bug, then in addition to compact rounds you should also miss out on the recipes for distraction device, concussive mine, explosive grenade, mag picks and shunts. There is no way to gain them again. Only options are: start a new game and avoid the bug, always buy compact rounds or wait until this bug is fixed.

I have replayed Black Geyser. The critical path with claiming the stronghold was 7.5 hours. There are some continuity bugs, but overall it was fun. Not doing the time-travel quest turned out to be a mistake - it allows to skip a large dungeon and an otherwise-unavoidable boss. I have also managed to get the king killed prematurely, but the game softlocked due to it, so it took a few more hours to do it "properly". The writing occasionally makes me want to cry, but there are also the obviously OOC options, so it kind of balances out. Granted, in the dialogues with the king, choosing them quickly leads to combat and the infinite guards teleporting in.

Hello, I am playing Avowed on medium/high settings on a Aero laptop with 3080 mobile nvidia GPU + i7-11800H. I encounter no major performance issue. However, the game often crashes, from different reasons. Yesterday, when I was in Paradis, my character going into water resulted in a black screen and my computer not responding. I needed to reboot, and I did that 3 times. There was no overheating in my view, the frame was not really hot, and nothing clear was associated with this. Then, restarting the game resulting in a Fatal Error, the same I've seen in multiple threads. I reinstalled Avowed. DDU my nvidia GPU drivers. Made sure I had no performance issues in other demanding games at high settings (Starfield,Cyberpunk). But I still get these major performance issues. So I'm a bit disappointed of course, being a big fan of PoE 1 & 2, and Obsidian works in general. I hope this gets solved. Really open to any suggestions !

I hit level 16 on my route back from Tikiwara to Neketaka. While I left the ship and entered the city two text scenes were triggered at once - first appearing of Fonferus and conversation with gods (the one after Hasongo) simultaneously. Screen turned black. I couldn't do anything besides mashing "1" in hope that it will end conversation with gods and load the city. But it didn't help. Screen reamined black. I couldn't save game because entire screen was black with only name of the game. I couldn't find buttons to save and quit. So my question is - has my run failed due to game breaking bug or can I continue just by loading existing save? @SChin I recall that @Raven Darkholme mentioned that Josh Sawyer watched one of his stream and said that "bugs are on us". I could repeat every step for another 5 hours until next week, but it's tedious. Any advice? Timestamp to last session with the bug:

Due to less time for gaming I switched to the most popular priest of Skaen/bloodmage. I finished Motare o Kozi with nearly 15 level (14 lvl and 3/4 of exp bar is full). I already have Shroud of the Phantasm and I cleared entire Deck of Many Things. I still have 35 days buffor (17 Deep Spring) to kill Jadaferlas in Ashen Maw. I didn't have luck with ingredients for captain's banquet so now I'm testing different routes with another save. I can go to Tikiwara, do the qests with lagufaeths and koiki fruit, return to Neketaka and then go to Sayuka, Crookspur and back to Dunnage - it should give me enough exp for level 16. Also I can take different route and sail west from Motare o Kozi to Sayuka, Crookspur, Dunnage and later probably go north to Junvik village to save the kid and gain enough exp for 16 lvl. I think I know how to reproduce @Raven Darkholme trick with Shadow Form from switching Slippers of the Assassin with other boots. It seems that if you had prolonged enough Shadow Form and rest to change this effect to passive, then you can switch Slippers of the Assassin with any other boots by double clicking in inventory. Then you can fight etc. and after the combat you can just double click Slippers of the Assassin to put it on and activate Shadow Form without killing anything and once again prolong it with Cabalist's Gambeson/Strand of Favor. As long as you won't break invisibility while wearing Assassin's Sleepers, you should be able to get Shadow Form back. I tested it with Shroud of the Phantasm by casting Wall of Flame. While wearing Slippers I couldn't deal damage to myself, so I switched to diffferent boots, activates Brilliant and switched back and get Shadow Form again. I'm uploading my vids if someone is interested:

DLC feature ideas
PaleElfPsion replied to Maximum_AC's topic in Avowed: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
I would want a Cipher DLC. It is by far the most popular and unique in Eora class. Also would want new weapons, blunderbuss and Pale Elf as playable character -
South park has been overtaken by reality. You can't compete with the constant flexing and hyperbole of MAGA anymore. We are already at max, reality is the parody and South park seems, out of breath, unable to keep up.
