Went back to KCD2 now that all the DLC is released. Haven't actually got to any of them yet. However, this is why I think im a full on hater now. This game is great, really checks most of the boxes for RPG games for me. Even then, I'm still not having that much fun with it. Its a problem when my GOTY isn't even fully engaging to me.

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2, Thread 2
Hawke64 replied to Katphood's topic in Computer and Console
I would like to explicitly state that I do not recommend VtMB2 at least until the performance, combat, and saving issues are resolved and, possibly, Fabien's sequences turned into dialogues. The posts are mostly to process the experience. I definitely have played worse action games and worse vampire action games. In retrospect, I enjoyed this one more than Vampyr and the second VtM VN with the Lasombra MC. I also received the last VtM VN as a gift for the pre-order, which is nice, I suppose. To elaborate on the combat, there is a lot of it, it is mandatory, and it is uncomfortable. The performance issues and the opponents dodging out of the line of sight do not help either. There are combo attacks and the parry move (dodging into the attacker), but I was able to use them consciously and successfully exactly once, on the second boss. I'd guess that adding the third-person camera and target lock and removing the "ENEMIES NEARBY" message on the suspicious chained locks in every other room would be easier to implement (months instead of years or even mods) than reworking the level structure, combat, or increasing the enemy variety (there are very few types for the number of encounters and I did not notice any technical difference between the Anarchs and the Sabbat). The story is largely fine - the mystery is compelling and the characters are interesting enough. Granted, the lack of mechanical representation of the Beast and Humanity (or any non-combat skills) is unpleasant, but not unexpected for an action game. They occur at very specific story points, do the thing to move the story, and are inaccessible for the player. Also, the civilian NPC cannot run out of blood. Therefore, yes, picking it up on sale in a year or two should provide a better experience. Imgur does not cooperate today, so (the screenshot has to be smaller than 1MB): -

Hello to everyone, TW2 was one of my most anticipated game of the year, and I just can't play it, I can't keep going in those conditions. I’m getting massive vertex/geometry corruption (triangles stretching across the screen, flickering meshes, broken lighting). To be clear it happened to me already in Avowed but it wasn't constant and it was mostly colorfull light flickering, I could just reinstall my drivers and pray they disappear next time I lauched the game. This time it's permanent, I tried reinstaling my drivers, disabling ReBAR in the BIOS. But It's still there. My Specs : RTX 4070 (latest NVIDIA drivers). 128gb RAM. 19-14900k. Windows11 I play KCD2, CP77, Star Citizen and a lot of other games, mostly in full ultra and with RTX ON when it's an option, and I don't experience this kind of glitches anywhere else. A short video compilation I made I've seen people talk about UE5 having huge conflicts with Nvidia drivers. Don't know if it's a good idea to revert to older drivers.

Most Americans support extending healthcare and the GOP in the Senate have committed to this vote in December I will be very surprised if they dont have this vote because it will destroy any chance of the Dems ever breaking ranks Maybe but not definitely If they dont extend Healthcare this will be another GOP own goal because of how many Americans support it and this will hurt them in the votes https://www.reuters.com/business/healthcare-pharmaceuticals/most-americans-back-extending-obamacare-tax-credits-amid-government-shutdown-kff-2025-11-06/ "The poll found that about three-quarters or 74% of U.S. adults are in favor of extending the tax credits, which are set to expire at the end of the year, marginally down from 78% in September. These subsidies, introduced during the COVID-19 pandemic, have helped people afford their health insurance through marketplaces created by the Affordable Care Act or Obamacare. The subsidies have enabled enrollment to double to 24 million since they were put in place in 2021. "

There will be a vote, but it won't pass.

Serial Killer Perk Bugged
PowerPrinny replied to kaze950's topic in The Outer Worlds 2: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
I am having the same kind of bugs with the serial killer perk. It went up by 2 , then back down by 2 after two kills. Then it seemed to be working for about 6 kills in a row, I saved ,re-loaded the save file, and it reset my max health back to the starting point as if I had not made those kills. Obsidian please fix this bug. I made an account just to request this bug fix. -

The All Things Political Topic - SNAFU edition

The democrats' ability to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory is truly amazing. What the hell was the point of extending the shutdown if you were just going to cave anyways? Even if there is, they just threw out what leverage they had so it's doubtful it would pass. I swear, these clowns would lose a game of chess to a dog. -
Just an addition in case of any ambiguity. This doesnt only affect the quest mentioned, but my save moving forward (I am not even sure its quest related - just a bug amd when it started) All subsequent quest/misdion updates and quest 'discoveries' - that lovely addicting sound of mission progress when hacking a terminal - now replaced with this horrible alarm noise
-
The mission update sound is replaced with incorrect sound effect - grating alarm like noise. The incorrect sound effect is activating when the mission updates/concludes. Any ideas on a fix? I started a new game and the sound plays correctly in the restart. Seems directly linked to my proper save. It pulls you out the immersion completely and I cant face restarting (over 80 hours in on very hard). Is this a know bug? Fix planned?
-
Shame we can't put a reminder on posts. GOP is constantly lying, there is not going to be a vote in December, I'd bet on that.
-
They not controlled opposition, Im telling you But the shutdown had to end and these 8 Democrats broke ranks for that reason And they will vote on extending Healthcare benefits in December and that should pass. That was the main issue for Dems You cant have the US government shutdown and not functional

You are not really convincing me to want to play this But it looks like something to go on deep discount quick - similar to midnight suns -
I got stuck for about a day here without a save old enough to try again, with seemingly the only way to escape being to shoot Zebulon and then Niles. What worked for me was approaching Zebulon and pressing 'e' to talk to him three or four times, each time he tries to fob you off so it's easy to be led into not considering trying to talk to him again but after a few attempts it triggered Niles to give me the explosive gel.
