pmchem Posted January 26, 2019 Posted January 26, 2019 The original post only has 1 build for version 4.0 or above (but lots of builds for version 1.x). I really like this thread in general but I would totally love it if anyone who knows what they're talking about build-wise can thoroughly update the original post for version 4 builds! It could be a great resource for new (console release coming eventually) and returning players. I'd contribute myself but I haven't really played since 1.0.
Boeroer Posted January 26, 2019 Author Posted January 26, 2019 A lot of builds are from enthusiastic players of the first hour (right out of beta or release) who then left and won't come back just for uppdating their builds I guess. Maybe we should just throw out some stuff. Oh, I missed the Thaumaturge I think. Will have to add that. 2 Deadfire Community Patch: Nexus Mods
Venatoris78 Posted January 26, 2019 Posted January 26, 2019 Or start a second thread, only with builds for 4.0?
Zera Strife Posted January 27, 2019 Posted January 27, 2019 (edited) Posted in the wrong thread, sorry! Edited January 28, 2019 by Zera Strife

Ivanfyodorovich Posted May 31, 2019 Posted May 31, 2019 For when/if you get back editing abilities. 1
Jayd Posted June 2, 2019 Posted June 2, 2019 Was hoping this could be included too, if it becomes possible again. 2
Aeodred Posted June 21, 2019 Posted June 21, 2019 Hello. May I ask, how does one go about posting builds? I'm new here but I'd like to contribute. I have a bunch of builds but I don't know where to post. Thanks
Boeroer Posted June 21, 2019 Author Posted June 21, 2019 (edited) You can post your build in your own thread. If our name it accordingly with "[CLASS BUILD] xy" it's easy to find. Usually I then would go and include a link to that thread of yours into the build list (page 1/post 1 of this thread). Unfortunately I am unable to edit that post since the forum update. It introduced a new time limit for edits: if a post is older than 8 days you can't edit it anymore. Thus I am not able to alter the build list. I hope this gets changed. If you want to support this then write a PM to @SChin and explain why you want that limitation to go away. Thank you! Edited June 22, 2019 by Boeroer 1 Deadfire Community Patch: Nexus Mods
Aeodred Posted June 29, 2019 Posted June 29, 2019 Right, so I finally got down to writing the thing and I hope the community will find this acceptable. 2
thelee Posted October 13, 2020 Posted October 13, 2020 (edited) Hey @Boeroer, are you still updating this? I noticed there are some newer builds not on here (like mine ) and maybe it's about time to at least hide away the really old builds behind a spoiler tag or something. Boeroer Posted October 13, 2020 Author Posted October 13, 2020 Hi, I haven't updated the list after the last big forum update after which we had that stupid "no edit function after x days" problem. And after that got fixed I simply forgot about the list basically. The new forum is really bad with very long posts with lots of formatting. Upon saving the post it often destroys the formatting completely and parts get lost. I have to keep a backup because of that. I try to touch it as seldomly as possible.
