Must resist... urge... buy... argh.

Switch or Hollow Knight? I've already caved on the latter, and caving in on the former is just a matter of time. ... Which is the point where I'll fail to not re-buy the latter again.

Hollow Knight. I bought me a Switch a while ago, it's the only current console I actually use.

No mind to think. No will to break. No voice to cry suffering.

Same here.

I've been playing Wasteland 2. Trying to actually beat it this time. I usually get sidetracked save-scumming to get loot, breaking game flow and lose interest.

I'm playing Hollow Knight. There wasn't much reistance. The game is great even if the way the map works wreaks havoc on my weak sense of orientation.

No mind to think. No will to break. No voice to cry suffering.

For the past few days I'm doing a run of Divinity: Original Sin 2. Not the shortest game of them all.

I'm playing as Lohse, again, since I can only play female characters, and for some reason can't play as anything but Lohse.

Just saved Gareth and completed burning pigs. I'm trying to resist opening every chest because there's so many of them and I can loose hours just looting the chests.

Can anyone recommend PC games that play well with a controller. I have been playing a lot of Nioh, Tekken 7, Darksouls. etc.

XCOM2 is free on PSN this month.  I need to download it since I never did pick it up when it was first released.

I can't imagine playing it again without the mod that removes timers. It was so frustrating to lose your entire team because you had to rush against it. I especially can't imagine any of the DLC boss fights that randomly pop up in missions. I had to save scum to not get completely wiped by those guys without a timer.

I would have thrown controllers, probably.

That only goes for the first phase, after you get grappling hooks and get access to cards that reduce timers , various other skills in the Guerillia tactics center, the timers become an important part of the challenge. You wouldn't want to play without. It will become too easy.

i've heard dragon age: inquisition does, though i've always been a keyboard & mouse sort, so it's just hearsay.

I should clarify. I'm a horrible elitist swine, I generally don't like indie and things with low production value.

That is in reply to Dragon Age Inquisition, correct? ;)

Earthlock, though it is AA indie jRPG. But dunno if that is to much for your elitist attitude to swallow or not :p

It was actually made by a Norwegian studio to look like a jrpg. :p

And the current version is the remastered version

I have been playing Dying Light with a controller, it is pretty fantastic.

Yeah, I know that, same with Battlechasers :p Still IMO they both captured the jRPG spirit very good. I liked them both more than two latest Final Fantasies.

When it comes to light games I prefer Child of Light.

Resi 2 on the PS Vita. Playing it on easy which is a really fun thing to do. I might check out the GameCube version once I am done playing, curious to see how that game looks on the GameCube.

There used to be a signature here, a really cool one...and now it's gone.

Yeah it's pretty great. Played it to death unfortunately.

I'm trying to play New Vegas, but it keeps freezing. Well, I've found a few possible solutions online, but I won't try them before tomorrow.

NBA 2K PC games play best with a controller

Free games updated 3/4/21

edit: Whoops, recommendations!

Witcher 3

Alpha Protocol

Alien Isolation

Bioshock series

Borderlands 2

The Dead Space trilogy was fantastic, the third one is better if you can play start to finish with a friend.

Resident Evil 7 (and 5 if you can rope a friend in for co-op)

Shadow Warrior

Just picked up Earthlock (Extended Edition) on GOG, I been enjoying this a lot from I played of it so far.

I also bought The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II, since I already own the first Trails of Cold Steel

and I'm going to start Trails of Cold Steel II after I have finished Earthlock in a couple days.

Loved it the first time through (though HATED the stupid boss fights with a passion).  I never did pick up the expansion and DLC, largely because I couldn't force myself to play through those boss fights again.

Played through the new Warframe update. Was about what I expected but I haven't boarded the hype train for Warframe in a loooong time so unlike a lot of others I wasn't disappointed ;)

Though it made me wonder what a good writer could do with the Warframe universe...
