Battlefield 3 campaign. I must say I doubt I will buy more Battlefields or Starwars Battlefront 2. Campaign is crap in Battlefield 3. Many people who buy Battlefield games due it only due to multiplayer and skip the campaign. I am sorry I bought it also for single player story experience.

 

I have almost finished Battlefield 3 single player campaign. After that I will play the cooperative about roughly 6 mission with a real life friend. Final step is try multiplayer.

 

Game play complaint. This is entirely subjective some people like apples and other people like oranges. I prefer Unreal Tournament 2004 game play over Battlefield 3. It is not my cup of tea.

 

I have heard that Call of Duty series focus more on single player story and have less realistic and more simple game play. I am interested to try newest Call of Duty when it is released later during this year.

 

Battlefield 3 have good graphics, action and violence and the rest sucks so far. Well after playing Battlefield 3 game I at least have experience what these types of the games have to offer. My rating of Battlefield 3 is 7.5/10 so not calling it crap totally I guess it is playable, but there are other games out there that I prefer over Battlefield games.

The worst treatment I ever had as a healer was in the first Guild Wars.

Huh, that's unexpected. What was their problem?

 

 

There was just a general negativity toward healers. There were threads on the Guild Wars fan forums about how people who played healers were entitled and elitist for reasons that had little to do with reality, and there was a general dislike of the fact that it often took a very long time to find a healer when doing missions, because few people played them, because they were treated like rubbish when they did.

 

The worst abuse I've ever experienced in an online game came from playing a healer in Guild Wars, and I love to play healers. I was never treated that badly in WoW, City of Heroes (not technically a healer but support that provides damage prevention), Star Wars TOR, or The Secret World.

 

Guild Wars 2 might be better about that, but I haven't played it enough to say either way and the character I am playing right now is a necromancer.

 

Meanwhile, in the original EverQuest, healers were treated like royalty, while DPS were at the bottom of the rungs...

 

 

Now I regret missing out on EverQuest.

The first Watch Dogs was pretty awesome, shame it was so underrated, for having the downgraded graphics and awful driving mechanics, it sure made up for it with its great story and hacking/tech mechanics.

I hate when I can't decide which game from my back log to play.  I have to be "feeling it" to play a game I bought months/year ago, and the ones I have aren't hitting the spot right now.

I'm starting my replay of Metro 2033 Redux.  I'm going to attempt playing through the game on Ranger Hardcore.  I'm not particularly good at shooters, so I expect this to go quite poorly, but I'll give it a shot.  I expect once I fail enough times I'll just play on Ranger like I did last time.

Just figured out in Syberia 3 sometimes you have to have your inventory open for the necessary hot spot to show up, sometimes not, very confusing.

I think partly it was that while the hacking was an interesting experimental twist on the open world gaming concept, it didn't really have the weight to carry the whole game. That and the protagonist was a fairly unlikeable jerk.

 

Watch Dog 2 is a bit more entertaining, pushes the humour side of things out more. But it has a certain fuzzy opening and shallow start to the story. It doesn't really kick in for story depth until you've already done about half the game. I'm not actually sure what the point of grabbing/earning cash is in the game. Apart from a couple of clothes, and picking up the quadcopter drone, I pretty much have no reason to spend it. The protagonist is a slightly geeky, caught in the works and turned hacker character who isn't a hardened and practiced killer. So it makes much more sense to use the stun gun if you do screw up the hacking side of things and can't ghost/trick your way through the majority of missions. So it's not as if you need to buy guns and ammo.

Finished The Surge and now I'm in NG+. A very good improvement over Lords of the Fallen. Combat feels much better, level design is very good and I really like dystopian and mysterious setting.

It's often described as a Sci-Fi Dark Souls. So if you like the core mechanic, you should also enjoy The Surge. But it's not like that there are no shortcomings. The main character and the character system is bland. It doesn't offer a lot of build variety and enemy types. Boss fights are not spectacular compared to Dark Souls. Also don't expect a lot of handholding. There is no map, no quest markers and the game doesn't tell you over an over what to do next. But considering that Deck13 is a small developer (70 employees) for an AAA game, or compared to FromSoftware or Team Ninja, they did a pretty fine job.

Tried Overwatch competitive. Bleh, always stuck with some Hanzo that knows what everyone else should play but he must remain Hanzo.

 

Only played a bit of Thimbleweed Park, somewhat funny so far with the self aware jokes.

I finished Utawarerumono: Mask of Deception. I simply don't want to wait for September to play Mask of Truth at this point. What a cliffhanger...

 

I'm slowly trying to Platinum it now, but mostly playing Dies Irae. So far it feels like Fate/Stay Night with Nazis. Kind of feels like something I would have written if I was into VNs when I was a teenager. But it has great reviews and the characters aren't terrible, so I'm sticking with it for now.

Heh.  I wasn't a fan of Dark Souls.  I know, blasphemy around here.  But that game never pulled me in.

 

I think that was the reason I decided not to try The Surge.

The Surge is both easier and faster paced than Dark Souls with fewer bosses and more metroidvania level unlocking.

Now playing Icewind Dale EE. Hats off to Steamdog. They did a great job on these games. There is more than just modernization. The dialouge trees are bigger and there is more stuff in the game now than the original. 

 

Plus I had forgotten home much fun Icewind Dale was. I haven't played this game in at least 15 years.

With the new Wolfenstein announcement I decided to give The Old Blood another try. Played through it this weekend and I'd say it is pretty good for a DLC. Only thing that sucked was the pretty huge download size.

Probably going to start a new run of the base game next.

Skyrim. I got Skyrim and Far Cry Primal both games released in year 2015 ordered Online for 25 euro including shipping. Skyrim I downloaded from Stream, but Far Cry Primal is delivered to me so I have not got it yet.

 

I play of course on FULL HD maximum ULTRA settings with my Nvidia 1050 Ti 4GB DDR5. No not running 60+fps constantly but that game does not require such performance. The only addon I have installed is the FULL NUDITY patch. It is well done  and only visible if I use a console command on for example NPC babe writing unequipall. This means when I want to concentrate on actual gaming it is not visible and if I want PORN well then there is that available.

Just clocked over 100 hours in Tales of Berseria and unlocked Chaos difficulty today. The more I continue, the more gets the story interesting. There is also lot of comedy skits, so I am having a blast and fun :-D

 

I am enjoying it much more than Zestiria and Xillia 2, so far. We'll see how the game will go forward the closer I get to Final Battle.

 

Also if you never played Tales of Zestiria nor Berseria. I would recommend you to play Berseria first and continue with Zestiria, despite being released sooner.
