Malcador
Bah. And I paid $4 for that. I recommend it, though, is a fun game and they show good ideas in how the C&C is done. Keyrock
http://www.gog.com/game/x_rebirth_home_of_light_complete_edition X Rebirth Complete Edition on GOG. Did they made the game to something fun like previous X games or is it still a mess like it was at release? It's definitely significantly better than at release. That said, if asked the question "Why would I play this over X3?" I couldn't give you an answer other than prettier graphics. Rebirth is now a fully functional game, but still a rather disappointing one, unless the new expansion did something on the level of divine intervention to the game. Sadly, Rebirth is not fixable in my opinion. The problems with that game stem from the very core systems it was built around. On the one hand, I applaud Egosoft for supporting their game for years after release, something they've always done with their games. On the other hand, I kind of wish they had abandoned the game right after launch and put their effort into making a new game rather than trying to fix something that cannot be fixed. You can polish a turd all you want, it's still a turd. Serrano
Consortium was pretty good which makes me sad that their KS for the sequel is doing so poorly It did a lot of things really well. I think because of how short a single playthrough is, the amount of bugs at launch were really devestating. By the time the game was stable I'd already gone most of the way through the game (As I remember it there was a bit near the end where you couldn't progress due to a bug) and lost my enthusiasm. Also the 4th wall breaking plotline was a bit of a turn-off for me but that's personal preference. I'd probably buy Consortium 2 on a whim if I saw it on the Steam store but I don't want to kickstart it and wait god knows how long for a release, if that makes any sense and isn't just me being picky? Nonek
Grim Dawn will apparently be released sometime in March, for those whom do not favour Steam, ah well the release bugs will probably be dealt with by then. Quite an experience to live in misery isn't it? That's what it is to be married with children.I've seen things you people can't even imagine. Pearly Kings glittering on the Elephant and Castle, Morris Men dancing 'til the last light of midsummer. I watched Druid fires burning in the ruins of Stonehenge, and Yorkshiremen gurning for prizes. All these things will be lost in time, like alopecia on a skinhead. Time for tiffin. Tea for the teapot!

majestic
I just bought Grim Dawn on GOG even though I received a free key from a friend of mine who backed the game on Kickstarter on a high enough tier to get two keys. Why? Well, because I like GOG and I totally love Grim Dawn and feel like they deserve the money. Besides, 22€ for hundreds of hours of fun is a real killer offer. No mind to think. No will to break. majestic
To be honest I didn't really intend to install Grim Dawn via Galaxy at all mostly because I'd lose a good bunch of progress towards the more grindy achievements, not to mention that in the past many Galaxy achievements were pretty much broken (I'm looking at you Satellite Reign and Rebel Galaxy). I just bought it to, uhm, vote with my wallet and all that consumerist jazz. I'm currently installing GD through Galaxy to take a look at the multiplayer lobby. No mind to think. No will to break. No voice to cry suffering.
majestic
Okay, so I launched the game from Galaxy and scanned for internet multiplayer servers, of which the game found exactly zero. Which is a pity because it gives no indication of whether it doesn't work at all or if there simply is nobody hosting a game right now using Galaxy and it obviously means it cannot find games hosted by the Steam version. Looks like the matchmaking is limited to the respective ecosystem. Maybe someone else with the GOG version can scan for games during, uhm, better hours. No mind to think. No will to break. No voice to cry suffering.
