I seriously doubt most of the people who donated were too daft to see that's not a Harry Potter event they're looking at.

Dev certainly sound unaware of event, which was my point. At least when he wrote that messages on kickstarter that were later reported back.

I'm saying the HP stuff was the reason people found his kickstarter, but it wasn't the reason they donated. He has nothing to be disappointed about.

Came for the Potter, stayed for the dragons, if you will.

Wishing him best of luck with the game though.

I really like the art of this game.  The gameplay is compared to legend of zelda but apparently you can use stealth to do a pacifist playthrough if you wish.

I'm a backer of the original campaign. I hope Danni gets the cash she needs. Even with everything, she never stopped working on this.

I decided to back Cyber Knights in the final hours:

I've played the heck out of their previous title, Star Traders, so this looks like a pretty safe bet. Not sure why I waited so long, but they are comfortably over their target.

Nice find I got here.

What do you guys think?

Black Geyser started sending backer surveys regarding the computer specs, but not actual keys yet.

Black Geyser's backers don't mention this anywhere?

Well I'm not a beta backer so I'm not involved. No expectation of a survey for me. But as a general backer, if the beta is about to be released (the new promised date was June), then of course I am very happy about that development.

Why are we still here? Just to suffer? Every night, I play on 720p . . . and 30fps . . . even 32 bits. The hours that I've lost . . . the games I had to uninstall . . . won't stop hurting. It's like we're all still there. You feel it too, don't you? I'm gonna make them give back our past!

It's not my video, I just share it. Unfortunately, no access to combat beta, just Early Access.

Seems to be a common trend among Kickstarter junkies to be as turbo-minimalistic and idiotic as possible.

few more about Thystle

What is Thystle?

Thystle is a pixel art Real Time Strategy game (RTS) that is inspired by the classics I played in my youth - Warcraft 2, Age of Empires, and Starcraft.

When did you start working on it?

Early 2019.

it's obviously not out yet, but, do you find this, like good or something?

Well would you look at that, the one game I figured was never going to happen actually has a video up...

It's been 8 years or so, and it looks terrible, but the intro made me smile a bit. :p

Yep.

Holy crap, I had completely given up on SpaceVenture. It looks like something that would have popped up on the Xbox live arcade circa Xbox 360. Still, I'm just really pleasantly surprised that this is still a thing that is happening.

King Arthur: Knight's Tale

Neocore still making King Arthur games. This one is still a ways off from funding but I enjoyed the other games of theirs that I've played
