213374U Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 (edited) I never actually killed Drizzt but doesn't Elminster come and smote your ass a little later if you do? In BG1, not that I remember. In BG2 some douche shows up and insta-imprisons you if you don't cough up Drizzt's loot, though. That sucked. Edited April 14, 2015 by 213374U - When he is best, he is a little worse than a man, and when he is worst, he is little better than a beast.
Amentep Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 One time I played BG1 and got to Serevok and CLUAconsoled in an army of Drrzt's and Sarevok killed them all. It was sad. Or funny, depending on your perspective. 1 I cannot - yet I must. How do you calculate that? At what point on the graph do "must" and "cannot" meet? Yet I must - but I cannot! ~ Ro-Man

HoonDing Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 they're catering to the SJW crowd by eschewing the busty sorceress will certainly not be romancing Marilyn Manson 2 The ending of the words is ALMSIVI.
Shadow_Arms Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 (edited) the question is? WHERE IS TORDEK! they're catering to the SJW crowd by eschewing the busty sorceress will certainly not be romancing Marilyn Manson He's more like Alice cooper Edited April 14, 2015 by Shadow_Arms
Zoraptor Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 He doesn't look like either Marilyn or Alice, really, though more like Alice of the two. He does rather look like the party barbarian beat him up a couple of days ago and stole his lunch money. Or perhaps is a cast member of Silicon Valley off for a spot of LARPing at a convention. 1
Valsuelm Posted April 15, 2015 Posted April 15, 2015 Emo alert! Yea.... This poster right here is enough to turn me off from this game. 2
Luj1 Posted April 15, 2015 Posted April 15, 2015 Ditto. Im not digging the art direction either. "There once was a loon that twitter Before he went down the ****ter In its demise he wasn't missed Because there were bugs to be fixed." ~ Kaine
Gfted1 Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 I think it was the DM video but the mage even sounds whiney. Thankfully we also get a full on Scottish Dwarf to even out the universe. "I'm your biggest fan, Ill follow you until you love me, Papa"
Luj1 Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 Meh. Go ahead. "There once was a loon that twitter Before he went down the ****ter In its demise he wasn't missed Because there were bugs to be fixed." ~ Kaine
Nonek Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 Shorts or trousers, one cannot wear both, it's simply not cricket! Quite an experience to live in misery isn't it? That's what it is to be married with children.I've seen things you people can't even imagine. Pearly Kings glittering on the Elephant and Castle, Morris Men dancing 'til the last light of midsummer. I watched Druid fires burning in the ruins of Stonehenge, and Yorkshiremen gurning for prizes. All these things will be lost in time, like alopecia on a skinhead. Time for tiffin. Tea for the teapot!
Amentep Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 To paraphrase Frank in Once Upon a Time in the West: "How can you trust a man who wears both pants and shorts? The man can't even trust his own legs" 7 I cannot - yet I must. How do you calculate that? At what point on the graph do "must" and "cannot" meet? Yet I must - but I cannot! ~ Ro-Man
Luj1 Posted April 17, 2015 Posted April 17, 2015 Don't forget the make up. "There once was a loon that twitter Before he went down the ****ter In its demise he wasn't missed Because there were bugs to be fixed." ~ Kaine
Chilloutman Posted April 17, 2015 Posted April 17, 2015 Can it be more cartoonish please? I dont have enough of that art style! *sarcasm off* 1 I'm the enemy, 'cause I like to think, I like to read. I'm into freedom of speech, and freedom of choice. I'm the kinda guy that likes to sit in a greasy spoon and wonder, "Gee, should I have the T-bone steak or the jumbo rack of barbecue ribs with the side-order of gravy fries?" I want high cholesterol! I wanna eat bacon, and butter, and buckets of cheese, okay?! I wanna smoke a Cuban cigar the size of Cincinnati in the non-smoking section! I wanna run naked through the street, with green Jell-O all over my body, reading Playboy magazine. Why? Because I suddenly may feel the need to, okay, pal? I've SEEN the future. Do you know what it is? It's a 47-year-old virgin sitting around in his beige pajamas, drinking a banana-broccoli shake, singing "I'm an Oscar Meyer Wiene"
Luj1 Posted April 17, 2015 Posted April 17, 2015 Crappiest art style If I ever saw one "There once was a loon that twitter Before he went down the ****ter In its demise he wasn't missed Because there were bugs to be fixed." ~ Kaine
Amentep Posted April 17, 2015 Posted April 17, 2015 To be fair, its not a badly done picture from an execution standpoint. I think any problem it has was at the conception stage - certainly there are design choices that strike me as odd (the pants/shorts and the book being turned so the mage can't actually read it, for example). I cannot - yet I must. How do you calculate that? At what point on the graph do "must" and "cannot" meet? Yet I must - but I cannot! ~ Ro-Man

Amentep Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 Two wizard companions in one game? Bit much isn't it? Kinda weird (unless they plan a large number of companions). Has there been any indication how many companions they're planning for? I cannot - yet I must. How do you calculate that? At what point on the graph do "must" and "cannot" meet? Yet I must - but I cannot! ~ Ro-Man
Humanoid Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 Looks like they're only implementing 6 classes, so having doubles makes sense in that context. Whether they do a full double-up - i.e. 12 companions - I don't know. L I E S T R O N GL I V E W R O N G
Gfted1 Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 Has there been any indication how many companions they're planning for? Maybe but I don't know. I don't hang out on the forums, I just check every once in a while to see if any new companion news has been released. At least this Wiz looks less emo than the other. And he should be getting some sweet racial bonuses to powergame up the class (Disclaimer: I don't actually know if 5E offers racial bonus.) "I'm your biggest fan, Ill follow you until you love me, Papa"
Monte Carlo Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 That art is ****ing horrible and everyone involved should be sent to a gulag immediately. It makes Torchlight look grimdark. 5
Bryy Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 Man, those are goddamn amazing names. And they do not stink of "fantasy names lol" at all.
