IndiraLightfoot
I really like that basic disengagement mechanic, though - running away when something too nasty for you is beginning to wipe its heinie with your party, ply by ply. 2 *** "The words of someone who feels ever more the ent among saplings when playing CRPGs" ***

I watched from a mountain top while a group of Bandits in Silent Stones took down a dragon. Why the heck does Skyrim need ME to save it? Then I downloaded the Deadly Dragons mod. Now you need to pack a lunch to fight them. ManifestedISO
If you start the main story early on, even the weakest dragons in Skyrim can insta-kill your character. If you wait and gain levels and power, they don't scale. Ha, get it. 1 All Stop. On Screen.
IndiraLightfoot
ManifestedISO: Heh! You got me there. Even my little mountain excursion was pretty eventful, and I rarely did follow that main quest line - and that was extually lots of fun, but it also caused a few bugs to happen that first time. I had to resort to the console to fix a couple of them in the south-western part of the map. *** "The words of someone who feels ever more the ent among saplings when playing CRPGs" ***
Humanoid
My biggest beef with Skyrim was the fact that there were dragons. These days I advise people to not activate the dragons until done fooling around with side content. L I E S T R O N GL I V E W R O N G

Guard Dog
I remember I once killed Firkraag in BG2 on the first hit with Quivering Palm. TheChris92
Dragons Dogma had the best Dragon boss battles -- There's nothing more epic than climbing unto a dragon, hacking away at it, as it violently tries to shake you off, even leaping into the air, occasionally, with you still hanging on. Malcador
Just as long as the dragons realize they can fly so use that. Why has elegance found so little following? Elegance has the disadvantage that hard work is needed to achieve it and a good education to appreciate it. - Edsger Wybe Dijkstra
Qistina
http://www.gamecritics.com/brad-gallaway/dragon-age-inquisition-preview-an-errand-girl-for-the-kingdom More Skyrimization confirmed. *sigh* Skyrim + Oblivion In Oblivion, portals show up everywhere, we need to close it. DA:I is about that, closing up portals that will show up everywhere In Skyrim we kill dragons everywhere Dragon Age have lost it's originality, a rip off from many popular games So I guess Skyrim & Oblivion is then a rip-off of Warcraft? Demons rushing out of portals all over the world, killing dragons etc? And the inspiration goes on and on.. In retrospect, I'd say Inquisition looks more like Dragon's Dogma to me, which I don't consider a bad thing. That game's combat was actually fun and the boss battles were incredibly enjoyable and engaging. What i mean is they lack original idea, Dragon Age itself is a rip off from many things, but they manage to make it original by changing some stereotypes, example Dwarves talk American, ugly Elves and they are slaves and such things. Original DA is a unique rip off But then comes DA2, where they have lost it, they change the theme, it's a story about medieval X-men, about mutans vs humans And now they continue the senseless thing, they rip directly from other games, DA have lost it's originality. Believe me, i dare say people will get bored after few hours playing DA:I. It is because we have seen it before, the story the landscape, everything we have seen it before. Close the gate and so the demons cannot come in, kill dragons everywhere and they are pests, side with humans or mutants...

Fighter
Random dragon encounters in Skyrim and their frequency was such a poor design choice. But I will never forget my first dragon encounter (not counting the first 2 scripted ones). It was a dark narrow mountain pass and it started snowing heavy, I was low level so it was difficult and long. In that moment it was magic. There is much Skyrim got right, too bad the soulless writing squanders that potential. Anyway. I just can't get excited for DA:I right now. Not interested it either the main plot or any of the party members. Morrigan and Flemeth is probably the only thing I find mildly intriguing.
