Yes, I must be gay because I called Ryan Reynolds and Gosling handsome.

Maybe I'm just not the kind of person that needs to find negativity and fault in most things I come across.  I prefer to just enjoy stuff.   :shrugz:

The lady TIE Bomber pilot in this vid (at 4:10) did make me feel kinda funny in my chair:

You know you've annoyed your commanding officer when you are put in a ship which gets bullied by Y-Wings.

I couldn't take that seriously with the TIE Bomber being so agile and with that Macross Missile Massacre (but yes, he was aiming to make an anime intro). Still impressive work by that guy to make that by hand.

That blaster rifle seems a bit too short for her grip on it.

Might this explain how inaccurate imperial blaster fire is?

the style reminds me of the 80s version of Area 88 (there was a remake in 2004 or 05 but it was toned down on the violent details like pilots getting shredded by 20mm shells)

Fantastic series and surprisingly spot on with some technical details (for instance, yes, it was possible, if not optimal, for an F-8 Crusader to take off with the wings still folded in. Unfolding them in flight? Different story).

Well there was the one mission in TIE Fighter where you had to fly the TIE Fighter that was "specially modified" with concussion missile launchers to stand a chance against the A-Wings.

apparently the black dude is the jedi. in some shots he seems to be having the lightsaber

The words freedom and liberty, are diminishing the true meaning of the abstract concept they try to explain. The true nature of freedom is such, that the human mind is unable to comprehend it, so we make a cage and name it freedom in order to give a tangible meaning to what we dont understand, just as our ancestors made gods like Thor or Zeus to explain thunder.

What? You thought it was a quote from some well known wise guy from the past?

Stupidity leads to willful ignorance - willful ignorance leads to hope - hope leads to sex - and that is how a new generation of fools is born!

We are hardcore role players... When we go to bed with a girl, we roll a D20 to see if we hit the target and a D6 to see how much penetration damage we did.

Technically Han Solo is seen wielding a lightsaber in Empire, gutting the tauntaun-sleeping bag for Luke ... but I can't say whether either, or both, new characters are Jedi.

I'm hoping for a girl-Jedi on girl-Stormtrooper fight, though.

in that case though, Han took it from Luke and used it. in the trailer you can see the black guy having it on his belt, meaning it's his and didnt just picked it up

Regarding the lightsaber, possible minor spoilers:

If I remember correctly the plot synopsis given at some con was that Luke's lightsaber is found on Tatooine by Boyega's character and he goes on a search to find him, so that would explain why he's carrying a lightsaber. Doesn't mean he's a Jedi.

How cool is this but I have just noticed that the DSTV subscription I have is offering a  dedicated Stars Wars channel in anticipation of the launch of the new movie. So all 6 previous movies will be shown plus any Stars Wars related interviews, cartoons and documentaries. It starts on the 31 August

Now that's commitment to the franchise  :dancing:  :dancing:
