The level of drama that character creates is just too juicy to let go. If you think about it for a moment, though, watching some idiot bite someone then roll around then stop the game for 5 minutes isn't exactly 'entertaining'. Especially if you care about the football. Portugal is so insanely down on goal differential that they would need to win by an insane score like 5-0 or have the US get thoroughly whipped by Germany, or some combination thereof to edge the US for a spot in the knockout stages.
